D' Ark Training & Resort Sdn. Bhd. Introduce
For residents of Pahang, the serene village of Janda Baik in Bentong is a go-to destination for a quick escape from city life. If you're someone who appreciates a quiet, rustic environment and the simple pleasures of nature, you might find a unique charm in D' Ark Training & Resort Sdn. Bhd. This place isn't your typical bustling, activity-packed hotel; instead, it offers a peaceful, village-style retreat that encourages relaxation and a slower pace of life. It’s a spot for those who want to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature, making it a suitable choice for a tranquil family getaway or a quiet personal retreat.
D' Ark Training & Resort is designed for a specific kind of guest – one who seeks tranquility and a rustic, back-to-basics experience. The resort’s concept leans towards a simpler, more laid-back vacation style, focusing on the natural surroundings rather than a multitude of modern amenities. The atmosphere is quiet and village-like, perfect for people who want to escape the constant noise and activity of urban areas. It’s a place where the primary activities are enjoying the silence, listening to the sounds of the night, and perhaps taking a dip in the river. This makes it a great fit for people who are tired of crowded tourist spots and are looking for a genuine, peaceful break.
Based on customer feedback, it is important for potential guests to manage their expectations. This is a "village-style" resort, which means it has a more rustic feel compared to a high-end, luxury hotel. The reviews suggest that the experience can be very quiet, with limited evening activities, making it an excellent choice for those who want to sleep and rest without any distractions. It is not a place for those who seek vibrant nightlife or a wide range of on-site entertainment. The resort’s primary selling point is its peaceful environment and access to nature.
D' Ark Training & Resort is located at 1, Janda Baik Batik, Kampung Janda Baik, 28750 Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia. This address places it squarely in the heart of the beautiful Janda Baik area, a well-known destination for its lush greenery, cool climate, and tranquil rivers. For locals in Pahang, particularly in the Bentong district, the location is very accessible. The drive is scenic and offers a gradual transition from busy roads to serene village lanes.
Janda Baik is a popular weekend retreat for many, including residents of Kuala Lumpur, due to its close proximity and the refreshing climate. The resort is nestled within the village, providing a truly local and authentic experience. Its location allows guests to explore the surrounding nature, go for walks, or simply relax by the river. The tranquil setting is a stark contrast to the hectic pace of city life, and its easy accessibility makes it a convenient choice for a short break without the need for extensive travel.

Why this place is suitable for locals:
For the people of Pahang, D' Ark Training & Resort offers a unique proposition. It's a no-frills, authentic village experience that is hard to find in a more commercialized setting. This resort is suitable for locals who are looking for a straightforward, quiet vacation without any pretenses. The primary appeal lies in its tranquility and the opportunity for river bathing, which is a beloved local activity. If your goal is to disconnect, read a book, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and fall asleep to the sounds of nature, this place is an excellent fit for you and your family.
However, it's crucial for locals to go in with their eyes open. Customer reviews highlight some significant issues, including cleanliness, maintenance, and a lack of amenities like functioning water heaters and prepared BBQ pits. This feedback is valuable and helps set realistic expectations. For a local user, this might mean a more "kampung-style" experience where you are prepared to handle minor inconveniences. For example, knowing that there might be issues with the water heater means you can pack a portable one or mentally prepare for a cold shower. The focus here is on the environment and the peace it offers, not on perfect, pristine facilities.
The resort’s village-style atmosphere is what makes it suitable for local families who are used to this kind of environment. It’s not a polished, advertised-as-perfect destination, but a real, rustic place that offers a genuine escape. While activities are limited, this is precisely the point for those who want a break from their busy lives. At night, with "totally got nothing to do here except sleep," as a reviewer noted, you are truly encouraged to rest and recharge. For locals in Pahang, this resort can be a budget-friendly option for a quiet, back-to-nature getaway, provided they are prepared for a more basic and rustic stay. It’s a place to embrace the simplicity of village life and enjoy the natural beauty that Pahang has to offer.
