Nov 14, 2024 · nur liyanaAlmost 2km from the Klang Gates dam, this is considered upstream River Klang, a 9km stretch of water which flows and meanders into the city centre. A joint effort between the government and the private sector, come and witness real River conservation and rehabilitation in action. Residents and volunteers come here every weekend to tend to patches of urban farms replete with bitter gourd, long brand and even durian. Walking pathways are being laid and extended to provide for a more wholesome experience and an even better appreciation of what I deem as the beginning stages of the River of Life downstream.
