I recently visited Healthland Bandar Botanic for the first time on 14 march. I often go to several of their KL outlets before. As expected, the ambience was pleasant, just like any other Healthland branch and the receptionists were friendly and welcoming. The location is quite strategic, with easy parking, especially on weekdays. I was surprised to find that few of the therapists here were older, in their late 40s or early 50s, like an auntie. I have no issue with age, as experience often comes with it.However, my experience with the massage service itself was disappointing. The service I received from my assigned masseuse (No. 189, an old lady) was far from satisfactory. From the beginning, the experience felt off. At all Healthland outlets I attended before, it is common practice for masseuse to take your shoes at the waiting area, provide slippers, then guide you to wash your feet. However, my masseuse skipped this step entirely. I had to ask for slippers myself when I reached the foot-washing area.During the massage, her approach was rough and careless. Instead of gently lifting my hands or feet, she would pull or drag them, making the experience uncomfortable. In all my previous visits to Healthland, I had never been handled so harshly. Worse still, her technique was not what I would consider a proper massage. For 70-80% of the session, she was merely pressing my body rather than actually kneading or working on the muscles. When she wasn’t pressing, she was just lightly touching my body. Even after I requested her to apply more pressure, she did not adjust, not sure due to language barrier or simply ignoring my request, I couldn’t tell.At the end of the session, she performed some light stretching, but again it was not done properly. At one point, I even let out a small scream from the pain, yet she simply told me to relax. It was impossible to relax when the entire massage experience was far from soothing. To top it all off, she seemed to be in a rush to finish. I could tell by the way she aggressively rubbed her hands onto my body, as if eager for the session to end and clock out on time.Overall, while Healthland generally provides a good spa experience, this visit was disappointing. If you’re visiting this outlet, I would advise requesting a different therapist to avoid a similar experience

We used to go to the Bayu branch, but a few months ago they told us that the package we bought could no longer be used there due to new ownership. So we were forced to go to the Bandar Botanic branch instead.The customer service at the Botanic branch is absolutely terrible — especially the Chinese lady at the reception. Her attitude is unbelievably rude, as if we owed her millions. She speaks in such an unpleasant, arrogant tone that it’s hard to believe she works in customer service.I bought a package and wanted to let my dad use it, and she suddenly said it’s not allowed because it’s under a different name. If that’s the case, why didn’t they explain that clearly before we bought the package? I’ve let other family members use it several times before with no issue — and now suddenly it’s a problem? That makes no sense.They aggressively promote their packages, but once you’ve paid, it becomes nearly impossible to make an appointment — always saying they’re fully booked or giving all sorts of excuses.Terrible service and dishonest practices. Think twice before choosing this branch.

We have been loyal customers of your establishment and have signed up for a 50-session massage package. However, we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of the massages recently, which has left us quite disappointed.Firstly, the massage techniques have become increasingly inconsistent. For example, during today’s session, my right shoulder was massaged for about 10 minutes, while my left shoulder received less than 5 minutes of attention. Similarly, for my back, one side was massaged over 80 times, while the other side received fewer than 20 strokes before the therapist moved on. The uneven pressure and timing across different body parts made the experience less effective and relaxing.Secondly, the overall service quality has also declined. For instance, the therapist placed the massage cream directly on my foot, and the way the towels were handled felt quite rough, which affected the overall comfort of the session.Since we have already prepaid for 50 sessions, we sincerely hope that each massage maintains a certain level of quality. We kindly request that these issues be addressed and that additional training and supervision be provided to ensure a more consistent and professional service.We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to seeing improvements.

I have been a package member for years @ HealthLand and they had a good booking system which was online and far better than Ayu Borneo. Now the management has changed it to WhatsApp booking and the online booking excludes package members. But when u try making a booking with WhatsApp, it’s almost impossible as the online slots are not allocated to package members. This means we barely have any slots during the day as package members. Terrible treatment those who paid thousands as they want to profit maximise with walk in customers when it should be first come first serve regardless of members or not. We need to reconsider before getting a new package and look around to other masseuse vendors. If you are reading this HealthLand management, would be wise to switch back to online booking for everyone including members. Your WhatsApp booking is backwards and u lied about AI features, plus I caught the idiot running it lying through his teeth multiple times by saying the time I want is full and instead giving me timings of when to come 🤣 these guys need a lesson in customer service and business ethics
