I just got back from a stay at [Hotel Name] in Penang, and I felt the need to share my honest experience so others don’t go through the same disappointment. This hotel has NO cleanliness at all.From the moment I walked into the room, it was obvious that housekeeping is not a priority. The floor was sticky, there were stains on the bedsheets, and there are so many insect like cockroach and the room is so smelly the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in weeks. It was honestly uncomfortable to even spend the night there.And to make things worse the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful.Whenever I tried to ask for assistance, whether it was for clean towels, aircon issues, or basic directions – the attitude was cold and dismissive. At one point, I was even ignored at the front desk while they chatted among themselves. I’ve stayed in many places across Malaysia and this was by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced. And the staff was keep on calling me and asking are checking out or extending your stay here. I have booked for 3day and 2 night and it doesn't make sense.Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.Penang has many beautiful and welcoming places to stay – this just isn’t one of them. If you care about hygiene and hospitality, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

I was relocated to this hotel because my original booking was overbooked. With no other choice, I agreed to stay here. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very cheap motel. The bedsheets were dirty, there was no Wi-Fi, and the most frustrating part was that only two power outlets were usable. On the plus side, it is close to the beach and relatively inexpensive, but overall, it’s not worth staying here. It’s better to find another hotel with a similar price but better service.

We booked a room through Agoda before coming here and paid also. They sent us confirmation mail. Yet after coming here, they were refusing and telling no booking was done and to cancel it through Agoda. They were blaming us why we booked through Agoda. And about confirmation mail, they were playing dumb. Such a horrible experience!

THE WORST! I had an extremely disappointing experience.Firstly, the lack of parking was incredibly inconvenient. We had to park at a nearby restaurant and walk all the way back to the hotel, which is not only frustrating but also unprofessional. The worst part is, when I asked about parking, I received no assistance or clarity from the staff.The check-in process was equally unpleasant. The receptionist was inattentive and more interested in speaking to her colleague in their native language, making rude comments, thinking I wouldn't understand but joke on her I understood every single bit. I found this unprofessional and disrespectful. I think that clown’s name is ShikaWhen I finally got to my room, it looked absolutely nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. I felt completely deceived. The window couldn't be locked, and when I raised the issue with another receptionist, she dismissed it as "just a lock problem," saying it wasn’t a big deal. Given that the room was on the ground floor and faced a busy road, I felt incredibly unsafe with the window left unsecured, but there was no available solution.The room was also lacking basic amenities—no tissues, no body gel, only hand wash, and not even a bottle of water was provided. The sheets on the bed were stained and appeared to be low-quality, resembling those you'd find in a budget hotel. I initially thought I was booking a nice hotel by the beach, but it felt more like a budget motel. I MEAN IT IS A BUDGET HOTEL, WAY MORE WORST THAN A MOTEL.To make matters worse, the room wasn’t well-maintained or clean. There was obvious neglect in the upkeep, and I did not feel comfortable at all. During check-in, I briefly parked in front of the hotel to unload my luggage, and despite only being there for 10 minutes, I received a parking ticket. It’s clear that this hotel doesn’t have its guest’s best interests in mind.Overall, this hotel was a huge letdown. I would not recommend it to anyone, and I won’t be returning.

Terrible Experience – Ended Up Paying for Another HotelI had a horrible experience at JMA FERRINGHI BEACH. I had a reservation, but upon arrival, the conditions were so bad that I couldn't bring myself to stay. The hotel was dirty, and the staff asked for deposit and city tax although the tax was already paid through agoda. When I got to my room, it was nothing like what was advertised—stains on the bedding, a horrible smell, no toilet roll, infested with bed bugs, the receptionist showed us 4 rooms all in the same condition. The swimming pool had algae growing in it.A MASSIVE COMPROMISE ON CLEANLINESS AND HYGIENE WHICH SHOULD NEVER HAPPENAfter seeing the state of the room and the overall neglect of the property, I immediately decided to leave. I spoke with the front desk, hoping for a refund or at least a partial refund, but they were completely unaccommodating and refused to help.I ended up paying for another hotel nearby just to avoid staying in such a dreadful place.
