Station B (Bukit Mesian) is renowned among local hikers as the "last checkpoint before getting to Mirror Lake," an iconic natural attraction. While the hike to this point is described as "a short hike with quite a high elevation," it promises a sense of accomplishment and prepares you for the serene beauty that lies beyond. As one reviewer aptly puts it, "You can’t go wrong with a hike to Mirror Lake." This area is a testament to Selangor's commitment to preserving its natural heritage and providing accessible outdoor spaces for its residents. It's a place where you can shed the stress of urban life, breathe in fresh air, and reconnect with nature.
What makes Station B particularly appealing to locals, beyond the physical challenge, is its thoughtful design. It’s noted as being "wide and quite comfortable," featuring "seating built for people to rest." This consideration for hikers' comfort is a welcome sight, allowing for proper recuperation before continuing the journey or simply to enjoy the accomplishment of reaching this point. Most importantly, the area is consistently praised for being "clean," reflecting a shared respect among hikers for the environment. Station B (Bukit Mesian) offers more than just a trail; it provides a well-maintained, challenging, and ultimately rewarding hiking experience for the community.

To reach the hiking area where Station B is located, hikers typically drive to the designated parking areas near the trailheads, such as Entrance A, which is a known starting point. Parking availability can sometimes be competitive during peak hours, particularly on weekends and public holidays, so arriving early is often recommended. While direct public transportation might not take you right to the trailhead, ride-sharing services like Grab are widely available throughout Selangor and can be used to reach the main entry points of the hiking trails. From these entry points, clear signage usually guides hikers towards the various trails, including the one leading to Station B and then onward to Mirror Lake. The "lesser than 20 mins to reach this greenery cafe" mentioned for a nearby cafe, while not directly about Station B, underscores the overall accessibility of this natural area from urban centres. Its integration within a well-developed urban area like Shah Alam ensures that a refreshing and challenging hike is never too far away for locals.

Station B (Bukit Mesian) Reviews
Last checkpoint before getting to mirror lake. A short hike with quite a high elevation. Have other junctions to go to other trails as well. The checkpoint is wide and quite comfortable It has seating built for people to rest. Most importantly the area is clean.
May 19, 2025 · Hafizun MushtafaYou can’t go wrong with a hike to Mirror Lake. However, it isn’t an easy hike if from Entrance A; kids and the elderly may find it tough. Please don’t litter, and as there are other people at the lake area looking for zen, don’t be a loudmouth or light up your cigarette or vapestick either.Take note; the “shortcut” via the padang batu bata construction zone is now off limits.
Dec 28, 2020 · Fahruddin NajumudeenIt is a tough route to Station B from the Setia Alam Community trail head. It took us 4.5hrs return journey. Total distance covered is about 10km. The weather was not cooling. The forest contains trees but not as big n old like the ones at FRIM. The trail is marked with colored raffia strings making identification of the route easier. Thanks to the hikers.Station B is a pit stop itself. You may proceed to other further spots from here or return to your starting point.
