For us locals in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, a mosque is more than just a place of worship; it’s often a central pillar of the community, a source of comfort, and a hub for various activities. The Al-Ghufran Mosque, nestled in Taman Pinggir Tun Dr Ismail, stands out remarkably for its progressive approach and comprehensive offerings. Unlike many mosques, Al-Ghufran Mosque boldly operates 24 hours a day, a testament to its exceptional management and commitment to serving the community continuously.

Apr 03, 2025 · Seri RusidaWent for iftar & terawih prayer on 04/04/2023. The mosque was not that huge BUT it has many levels to accommodate the guests. Male praying area at level G while female praying area at level 1. Since it was located on a hilly residence area so the parking lots were very limited. It was fully air-conditioning with ceiling fans. There were also rooms for rent for Musafir. We came early for iftar and the food were free.It was served buffet style and eat at the table provided at Kafe Al-Ghufran at level B2 (there was one elevator). They also have space to organise event. They do have water filter (not sure Coway or Cuckoo), so if you are planning to have hot drinks, you can being your own bottle/flask with your own tea/coffee and just take the hot water from the water filter. After breaking our fasts we then proceeded with Maghrib prayer and we used the free time to do our things before proceeded with Isya' prayer & terawih. The imam performed 20 rakaat of terawih. There were also QR code for easy donation if you forgot to bring your money.
