Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter Introduce
For many residents in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, planning a local getaway or a visit to one of the city's many attractions often involves securing tickets. While direct purchases at venue counters are always an option, some opt for ticketing agents, believing they can offer convenience or better deals. In the heart of the vibrant Bukit Bintang district, you'll find the Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter. This establishment aims to serve both locals and tourists looking to simplify their entry into various popular destinations.
This article provides an overview of Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter, detailing its location, the services it purports to offer, and important considerations for local users based on publicly available information and customer feedback. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions for your next family outing or personal adventure within and around Kuala Lumpur.
Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter boasts a highly central and accessible location, making it relatively easy to find for anyone navigating Kuala Lumpur's bustling city center. You can find them at:
Jln Bukit Bintang, Imbi, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Being on Jalan Bukit Bintang, the counter is situated in one of Kuala Lumpur's most iconic and vibrant areas, known for its shopping malls, entertainment options, and diverse eateries. This prime location means it’s exceptionally well-connected by public transport. The Bukit Bintang MRT and Monorail stations are mere minutes away by foot, offering seamless access from various parts of the city. If you're driving, parking in Bukit Bintang can be challenging, but there are numerous paid parking facilities in nearby shopping complexes. The ease of access makes it a convenient stop for those already in the vicinity for shopping or other leisure activities. However, it's always wise to factor in the busy nature of this area, especially during peak hours or holidays, when planning your visit.
Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter positions itself as a facilitator for obtaining tickets to various local attractions. Based on common practices for such counters, their services generally include:
Ticket Sales for Tourist Attractions: The primary service is selling entry tickets to popular destinations such as aquariums, zoos, theme parks (like I-City, Sunway Lagoon), and other cultural or recreational sites in Kuala Lumpur and possibly beyond.
Bundle Packages: They may offer bundled tickets for multiple attractions, aiming to provide a perceived discount or added convenience for visitors planning to visit several places.
Information and Guidance: Staff might provide basic information about the attractions, including opening hours, directions, and suitability for different age groups.
Tour Arrangements: While primarily a ticketing counter, some such establishments also offer to arrange local tours or transportation to these attractions, though this should be explicitly confirmed.
It is important for potential customers to verify the specifics of any offered service, including what is covered by the ticket, any hidden fees, and refund policies, especially given the nature of the business as a third-party reseller.
When considering Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter, here are some key features and highlights, keeping in mind consumer feedback:
Central Location: Its presence in Bukit Bintang is a significant advantage for those already in the area, offering quick access to ticket purchases without needing to travel to individual attraction sites.
Range of Tickets: The counter claims to offer tickets for a variety of popular attractions, which could be convenient for planning a multi-stop itinerary.
Direct Interaction: For those who prefer face-to-face transactions and advice over online booking, a physical counter offers that direct interaction.
However, it is crucial to note that consumer reviews indicate potential concerns regarding:
Pricing Discrepancies: Several customers have reported that ticket prices at Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter were significantly higher than direct counter prices or prices offered by other, more reputable agents. Comparisons specifically mentioned I-City tickets being substantially more expensive, and a claim of being charged for a 3-year-old child when direct venue policy might indicate free entry for that age group.
Refund Policy Issues: A recurring concern in feedback relates to difficulties with refunds for unused tickets. Customers have reported being asked to return multiple times or facing delays and uncooperative staff when attempting to process a refund, despite prior assurances of easy refunds.
Customer Service Concerns: Instances of perceived unprofessionalism, insults from associated personnel (e.g., drivers), and a lack of intervention from counter staff during disputes have been highlighted in customer experiences.
Transparency: There are allegations of fraudulent practices and misrepresentation of prices, with claims of offering "cheaper rates" that turn out to be significantly higher.
These points underscore the importance of caution and due diligence for any potential customer.
Like many ticketing agents, Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter may advertise promotions or special offers. However, based on customer feedback, locals are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and verify any such claims.
"Cheaper Rates" Claims: Customers have explicitly stated that advertised "cheaper rates" were found to be 25% to double the actual ticket prices at the venues themselves or from other sources. It is imperative to cross-reference prices directly with the attraction's official website or counter before purchasing from Amana.
Bundle Deals: If bundle deals are offered, calculate the individual cost of each ticket at the venue's official price and compare it with the bundle price to ensure genuine savings.
It is highly recommended to approach any promotional claims with skepticism and conduct independent price checks. The best "promotion" is often a transparent and fair price.
Should you wish to contact Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter for inquiries or to verify information, here are their details:
Address: Jln Bukit Bintang, Imbi, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Phone: 011-1121 1131
Mobile Phone: +60 11-1121 1131
It is advisable to call ahead to inquire about specific ticket availability, pricing, and refund policies before making a physical trip to the counter, especially if you have particular concerns based on the feedback shared.
For residents of Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, convenience is often a key factor when choosing services. Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter's central location in Bukit Bintang certainly offers that. However, based on the significant and concerning feedback from previous customers, exercising extreme caution is paramount.
While the idea of a one-stop shop for attraction tickets is appealing, the consistent reports of inflated prices, difficulties with refunds, and poor customer service raise serious red flags. Locals are always advised to:
Prioritize Direct Purchases: For most attractions in Kuala Lumpur, purchasing tickets directly at the venue counter or through their official websites is the safest and most transparent option. Ticket counters at attractions are generally not crowded, and staff can provide accurate information on pricing and age requirements.
Compare Prices Rigorously: If considering a third-party agent, always compare their prices with the official venue prices and those of other well-regarded, reputable ticketing platforms or travel agencies in Malaysia.
Understand Refund Policies: Before any purchase, especially for children whose entry status might be ambiguous, obtain a clear, written understanding of the refund policy. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances.
In conclusion, while Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter is physically present and accessible, the collective customer experience suggests that locals seeking a hassle-free and fairly priced experience for their attraction visits might find it more suitable and reliable to explore other purchasing avenues. Always remember, the best way to enjoy Kuala Lumpur's wonderful attractions is with peace of mind, knowing you've secured your tickets transparently and at a fair value.

Amana Tourist Ticketing Counter Reviews
During my Eid Holiday visit, I discovered that the place is run by Arabs and Muslims. Unfortunately, there is no adherence to the honor or standards of Islam, as they engage in fraudulent practices and charge 25% to double the real ticket prices, claiming they offer cheaper rates. The only areas where I found consistency between the location and their office were the Aquarium and Zoo. However, for I-City, their prices are significantly higher – they charge 230 per adult and 200 per child, whereas you can get the same tickets elsewhere for 175 per adult and 155 per child.Additionally, they charged me for my 3-year-old child and assured me that unused tickets could be easily refunded. When I returned the day before my travel back to the UAE, they asked me to come the next day or wait indefinitely noting my kids are in the car. Even on the day of the refund, I was insulted and abused by an Indian driver they deal with, while the counter staff did nothing to intervene. Confronting the driver expedited my refund process, which then happened immediately without further delay. This raises the question: why make customers go through such hassle in the first place?May God suffice me and He is the best disposer of affairs. By the will of God, you will receive the deserved recompense for the fraudulent per Quran are punished severely. From my extensive travel experience, I've often tried to avoid dealing with Arab immigrants running businesses due to frequent encounters with fraud. Sadly, I thought Malaysia would be different, but it turned out to be similar to the fraudulent experiences I've had in Europe, Thailand, and Indonesia.Surely, not all are the same, but unfortunately, the majority are, making this experience a confirmation to just deal with local citizens.Final advice all of the places provide tickets at place and they will guide you better who needs ticket and who not and the ticket counters at all places I visited weren’t crowded and they got people guiding you.

Aug 24, 2023 · Tariq AhmedTheir service is fastThey have all tickets for places related to tourism in MalaysiaThanks for all your efforts
Apr 06, 2025 · Abdulrahman AlsomaliI do not recommend buying from them. High prices and they laugh at people because they have special contracts with companies and their prices are lower, and they eat up your head with sweet talk (the drivers bring you to the store under the pretext that it is the cheapest place that provides tickets), but God knows best about his intention. The bottom line is that their tickets are expensive, so take them from the event site the day before, which is better for you
