Berembun Camp @ Ulu Bendul Reviews
Camping was ok. Everyone was happy. But my main objective normally for campsite is to survey its fish biodiversity 🤣Managed to record:Rasbora elegansBarbodes selliferPoropuntius deauratusHemibagrus capitulumMacrognathus maculatusHybrid tilapia Oreochromis sp.Many2 shrimpsNo sign of any Channa / snakehead2 types of snakes, reticulated python & probably rat snake 🐍🐍The stream was ok for kids, but there was no deep pool. And few signs of local people throwing domestic waste on nearby land lot
Feb 05, 2025 · ahmad firdaus jasmanBeautiful campsite and nice toilets. We observed tiger's paw 🐾 footprint at the opposite of the river . 5 inches size and several smaller tiger paw 🐾. ( Harimau or Harimau Kumang, not certain as both are similar in paw size ) . The local kampung people did mention that it's safe because there are many wild boar 🐗 that act as food for the tigers. No human attack issues at all. I believe it's safe ! Give respect to them, their home in the deep jungle that is nx to the campsite.
Oct 18, 2023 · Tay KCEscape from your busy lifestyle. Nice ambient and nature. Facilities awesome!
May 30, 2024 · Wan Adlan WanGood view, river and nature with little comments on the following;Need to improve1) Suggest to put more sink for ease of use by campers2) Across the bridge plot, having lots located on low areas and thus water accumulated and penetrated into tents. Maybe need to put some layers of gravels so that the rainwater will be quickly absorbed into grounds that will help the groundsheet dry.3) Terrible experience with ants (black ants and fire ants) and termites keep on accumulated at tents and kitchen areas.4) To provide proper rubbish collection areas coz notice that collected rubbish being dumped at the forest areas.
Jun 04, 2024 · Mahadi Abdullahmy knee and leg hurt due to the small rock. CO should put the tiny rock instead of big one. 5 layer of groundsheet also hurt.Workers very helpful during my stay. When CO around, no courtesy to meet the campers. Only sit inside the vehicle.
