The park is well maintained, clean and safer.personally I never get bored walking around the lake every morning. You can make new friends as the people of Bangi are always friendly and kind. May 16, 2025 · Hajar yaakobA beautiful park with a lake in the middle of the city, unfortunately it is poorly maintained, and lacking in landscaping. If it were well maintained, it would be a very good recreational place for the surrounding residents and the public.
Feb 23, 2025 · Suka SempoiFirst time coming to this park. Perfect for running or exercising, fresh air and tranquility. There are also many Malay families who come here for picnics. However, there is rubbish everywhere, but luckily some kind people will help pick it up. I hope everyone will stop littering.
Jan 28, 2024 · stanle wongThis place used to be so stinky but now its a beautiful thriving wetlands ecosystem with plenty of fish, herons, storks, various birds and lizards. While some of the pathways are broken it's still a very nice park to walk and run.One round around the lake is about 2.5km or so and there's various exercise machine spots and playgrounds. I like it in the early morning but I'm a bit sad that so many of the lampposts are broken so it's a bit dark at night. There's no visible security so don't walk about alone and avoid the quiet secluded parking spots. There's at least 2 restaurants here but we haven't had the chance to try them out yet. Weekends can get quite packed so go early. Thanks to MPKJ for keeping the area clean as hedges are trimmed, loose leaves are blown and trash generally gets cleaned up.While there’s small covered gazebos with solar panels all around the path, we haven't tried the USB charging points there yet either. Please don't run or jog on the metal bridge, it shakes everyone when you do.The park warning signs clearly state that no fishing, no pets (dogs, cats, etc.) and no naughty stuff are allowed. Last weekend there was an aerobic session complete with loud music and I also saw a taekwando group and qigong group exercising as well.Update: The public bathrooms have been reopened and there appears to be both sitting and standing toilets along with a shower for both the men and women bathrooms. They look quite clean and don't smell stinky but I suppose the park is understaffed as stuff gets taken care of gradually. There’s running water at the sinks but while there seems to be a box to put in money no one was taking care of it.After heavy rainfall, the lake water can rise significantly, enough to make the pathways closer to the lake muddy and slippery, so be careful. There’s also a stone foot massage path with a number of picnic tables but the roofs show clear signs of someone cleaning up but not being able to fix the broken beams.I have only seen one homeless man sleeping face down in one of the gazebos with his feet bare but I do not know how it is at night. Will update this review once I know more.

Huge field for rugby, ball and etc. Lots of parking and amenities. Public toilets are clean. There are restaurants and near franchise restaurants.
