KEDAI KOPI ATOK Reviews
Kopi ais was good. Kopitiam style. Fried kueh teow also good; simple yet meet expectation; plenty of kerang and udang. Roti bakar is nice; still soft although been cold for awhile. Will come again.
Jul 20, 2025 · Mohd Adib Ahmad MaherKuantan has a growing number of kopitiam and this is one of the many we visited. We went on weekday hence there wasn’t many people albeit most of the tables were occupied. We were lucky to have some of the few empty tables upon entering and the rests were filled after we sat down. The service was rather fast, we chose our menu, made our order & were served in less than 15 minutes. Cakoi is definitely a must have there. It’s fluffy, crunchy and fresh! I love the fact that the kaya dip wasn’t too sweet and it pretty much complemented the whole dish. Had a great start with the cakoi. We ordered char kuey teow and curry noodles & the food was truly above the average. Very nice in terms of portion and taste! Although i do prefer my char kuey teow to be a bit on the spicier side. All in all, we enjoyed all of it and fairly think that this is a nice kopitiam to hang around with friends or families.
Dec 17, 2024 · redkankenI recently visited Kedai Kopi Atok, a bustling restaurant that was quite crowded, resulting in slower service.Finding parking was also a challenge due to the high number of customers. We ordered a variety of dishes: Roti Bakar with Peanut Butter and Kaya. A set of Cakoi, Mee Goreng Udang, and Teh Tarik. While the taste of the food was decent, I was disappointed that the Roti didn’t match the pictures on the menu. Some pieces were overcooked and flattened, which affected their appearance. The cleanliness of the place could use some improvement as well. However, I did enjoy the Teh Tarik, it was thick and flavorful. The price is also reasonable. One highlight was the decor, which had an old-school mechanic shop vibe with a rustic touch that I found appealing.Overall, my experience was just okay—not extraordinary, but not terrible either.
Nov 17, 2024 · Saiful Yazam Bin MohamadDespite its reputation as a popular dining spot in Kuantan, my recent experience at Kedai Kopi Atok fell significantly short of expectations. Here's a detailed breakdown of my visit:Food & Beverages (3/5):- Food quality was mediocre at best- Flavors were unremarkable- Drinks were average, nothing special to highlight- Portions were standardService (1/5):Major issues with service management:- Extensive waiting times for food orders- Poor queue management- Later arrivals receiving their meals before earlier customers- Had to repeatedly follow up with staff about order status- Kitchen seemed to prioritize orders randomly rather than first-come-first-served- Staff appeared disorganized in handling customer ordersAtmosphere:- Restaurant appears to have gained popularity locally- Generated significant buzz on social media- Reality doesn't match the hypeValue for Money:- Given the service issues and average food quality, the overall value proposition is poor- The experience doesn't justify the time spent waitingRecommendation:While Kedai Kopi Atok may have earned local fame, the current service standards make it difficult to recommend. The fundamental issues with order management and customer service significantly detract from the dining experience. For those considering a visit, I would suggest exploring other dining options in Kuantan or being prepared for potentially long wait times and service inconsistencies.Areas for Improvement:1. Implement a proper queue management system2. Train staff on order prioritization3. Improve kitchen coordination4. Enhance communication between staff and customers5. Focus on maintaining service standards during peak hours
Oct 26, 2024 · Mie LongCome early in the morning to avoid the crowd, especially on Sundays. 😁All the dishes I ordered were good. Will come again to try other menu.
