For many of us in Pahang, starting the day with a plate of flavourful nasi lemak is not just a meal; it's a cherished tradition. And when it comes to finding that perfect blend of fragrant rice, crispy anchovies, crunchy peanuts, a hard-boiled egg, and, most importantly, a sensational sambal, locals often point towards a hidden gem in Sega: Nasi Lemak Rokam. Tucked away in Kampung Hulu Jeruas, this breakfast spot has quietly earned a reputation for its authentic taste and the heartwarming 'kampung vibe' that makes every visit feel like coming home.
Nasi Lemak Rokam isn't a fancy, modern eatery. Instead, it embodies the rustic charm and genuine hospitality that Pahang is known for. It’s the kind of place where the aroma of pandan-infused rice fills the air, and the gentle chatter of satisfied customers creates a comforting soundtrack to your morning. What truly sets it apart, according to local patrons, is the meticulous attention to detail in preparing their signature nasi lemak. The sambal, often the make-or-break component, has been praised for its balanced flavour profile – "the spiciness just nice for kid. But for adult is a bit sweet," as one review aptly puts it, suggesting a unique sweet-spicy kick that appeals to a wide range of palates.

Their main "offer" is the authentic and high-quality nasi lemak experience itself, available daily.
However, like many local eateries, potential informal "specials" or community-driven promotions could include:
- Daily Specials: Occasionally, a traditional local eatery might feature a rotating daily special, perhaps a different accompaniment for the nasi lemak or another traditional breakfast dish, depending on the availability of ingredients or the chef's inspiration. It's always worth asking the friendly staff if there are any special dishes for the day.
- Loyalty Recognition: While not a formalized program, regular customers might experience informal gestures of appreciation, reflecting the warm community spirit.
- Community Events: If the restaurant participates in local community events or festive bazaars, they might offer special bundles or limited-time items as part of those celebrations. These would be announced locally within the Sega and Raub communities.
For the most current information on their offerings, it is always best to visit Nasi Lemak Rokam directly during their operating hours, or if available, check their social media presence if they maintain one. Nasi Lemak Rokam Reviews
Alhamdulillah, the spiciness just nice for kid. But for adult is a bit sweet
Dec 30, 2024 · Amelia HasamiLove the food and the environment. Good people. Kampung vibe.
Dec 11, 2022 · Abdul Fattah Sadiq Abd HafidzThis is the most delicious restaurant within 10 kilometers in all directions. Almost all the food is delicious. However, the staff are unfriendly. We each put the food we wanted to eat on our plates. The staff did not calculate the cost of the food. When we finished eating and went to pay, they asked us for a much higher price than the food we ate. However, since the price was much cheaper than KL, we didn't file a claim and just paid in full. Next time we pass by, we will eat here.
Jan 13, 2025 · Paul ChoDelicious nasi lemak, sambal lung recommended. Sometimes you have to wait until the rice is cooked. The shop is right on the side of the road, be careful when you stop because there are many people driving fast. My name is now my mother's nasi lemak
Jul 08, 2024 · Nur Izzahnormal food. his staff is not friendly. again the girl. he has a relaxed can flip through nails. drink water leisurely. then his system is very silly. who dined in got the food first. if it's food, the dine-in has something different from the take-away. this is not, that's food for take away, that's also food for dine in. then those who are in line have to wait for the food to be cooked again. My bad luck, I'm waiting in line. The person behind me can serve first. It's okay to not get cucumbers, anchovies. if you ask later. . instead of queuing for over an hour.
