PLSC ENTERTAINMENT (Cheras) One shamelin mall Introduce
For us living in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, especially around the Cheras area, finding engaging and exciting entertainment options can sometimes be a challenge. We're always on the lookout for places that offer something different, whether it's for a fun day out with friends, a family activity, or even a unique team-building experience. PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) at 1 Shamelin Mall positions itself as an indoor amusement centre, aiming to provide a range of activities for various age groups.
Indoor amusement parks and entertainment centres are increasingly popular in a city like Kuala Lumpur, offering refuge from the tropical heat and rain. They provide a controlled environment where various activities can be enjoyed under one roof. PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) offers activities such as roller skating, drift karting, bumper kart battles, and gel blaster action, appealing to a diverse audience looking for active and engaging fun.
However, it is equally important to approach any new entertainment venue with a balanced perspective. Customer experiences can vary widely, and understanding both the promoted features and real-world feedback is crucial for making informed decisions. While promotional materials highlight exciting activities and affordability, some user reviews indicate areas where the overall experience might fall short, particularly concerning venue maintenance, atmosphere, and staff interaction.
This article aims to provide a factual and informative overview of PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) at 1 Shamelin Mall for locals in Kuala Lumpur. We will detail its precise location and accessibility, list the services and activities it offers, highlight its promoted features, and provide contact information. By presenting a comprehensive picture, locals can better assess whether this amusement park aligns with their expectations for a fun and suitable outing in Cheras.
PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) is strategically located within a well-known shopping complex, making it relatively accessible for residents across Kuala Lumpur, particularly those in the Cheras vicinity. The full address is: Lot No. L3-02 & 03, Level 3, 1 Shamelin Mall, 100, Jalan 4/91, Taman Shamelin Perkasa, 56100, Kuala Lumpur Taman shamelin perkasa, kuala lumpur, Taman Shamelin Perkasa, 55100 Cheras, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Being situated on Level 3 of 1 Shamelin Mall provides several advantages. Shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur are often easily reachable via various modes of transport, acting as community hubs. For those driving, 1 Shamelin Mall typically offers ample parking facilities, which is a significant convenience in a bustling city. The mall's location in Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Cheras, means it serves a large residential catchment area, making it a local option for families and friends seeking entertainment close to home.
For those relying on public transport, Cheras is generally well-connected. While a direct LRT or MRT station might not be immediately adjacent to 1 Shamelin Mall, feeder buses or ride-hailing services (such as Grab) are readily available in Kuala Lumpur, bridging any gaps. The familiarity of "1 Shamelin Mall" as a landmark ensures that most locals in Cheras and surrounding areas will be able to navigate their way to the venue without much difficulty.
The indoor nature of the amusement park, being within a mall, also offers protection from the weather, making it a comfortable option regardless of rain or heat. This central, mall-based location enhances its appeal as an easily accessible entertainment venue for the urban population of Kuala Lumpur.
PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) at 1 Shamelin Mall positions itself as a diverse indoor amusement centre, offering a range of activities designed for various ages and interests. Based on publicly available information and customer feedback, the primary services and activities offered include:
Roller Skating: A key attraction where visitors can enjoy rollerblading or roller skating. This is offered with a full-day pass option, allowing extended play. Protective gear like knee and elbow pads are provided for safety, especially for beginners.
Drift Karting / Electric Go-Karting: PLSC Entertainment is noted for being one of the first to offer "Drifting e-Kart" in Malaysia. This allows participants to experience the thrill of go-karting with a drifting element on an indoor track. Various time durations (e.g., 5 mins, 10 mins, 20 mins) are available.
Gel Blaster Action / CQB Gel-Blaster Battle: This involves simulated combat using gel blasters, providing a "real-life CS battlefield simulation" experience. This is often available for individual or group play, with options for different bullet counts.
Bumper Kart Battles: Another variation of karting, likely involving bumper cars or karting designed for light collisions and fun.
Arcade Games / PS4 (Implied): While not extensively detailed, some mentions of "PS4" and "games" suggest there might be a small arcade or gaming zone within the facility for additional entertainment.
Event Hosting / Group Bookings: The venue offers packages for group bookings, indicating its suitability for birthday parties, corporate team-building events, or school outings, with value packages available for multiple activities.
Equipment Rental: For activities like roller skating and drift karting, equipment (skates, helmets, pads) is provided as part of the entry fee.
These services are designed to offer an active and engaging experience for visitors seeking indoor recreational fun in Kuala Lumpur.
Based on promotional materials and public information, PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) at 1 Shamelin Mall emphasizes certain features that aim to attract visitors. However, it is crucial to present these alongside user experiences for a balanced view. Here are the intended highlights:
Variety of Indoor Activities: A key selling point is the diverse range of activities available under one roof. This includes unique offerings like the "FIRST Drifting e-Kart in MALAYSIA," along with roller skating, gel blaster battles, and bumper karting. This variety aims to cater to different preferences and ensure there's something for everyone.
Affordable Pricing (Promoted): The venue is promoted as offering "budget-friendly activities" with prices as low as RM10 for basic games and full-day passes for roller skating at competitive rates (e.g., RM30 for students, RM38 for adults). Value packages for multiple activities are also highlighted.
Extended Operating Hours: PLSC Entertainment operates from 12 PM to 12 AM daily, providing ample time for visitors to enjoy the activities, even late into the evening. This flexibility is convenient for those with busy schedules.
Suitable for Various Groups: Promoted as a destination for "couples and friends alike," and ideal for "families looking to bond," the range of activities suggests it targets a broad demographic, including dating spots, team building, and family outings.
However, it is important to acknowledge significant concerns raised by multiple customer reviews, which provide a contrasting perspective on the actual experience:
Venue Condition & Ambiance Concerns: Reviews frequently mention a "super sketchy location" within a "very dead and unsafe" mall. Descriptors like "super low budget in deco, establishment, flooring," "flooring is unstable," "toilet not maintained," "seats were unstable," and "no proper air conditioning" point to significant maintenance and comfort issues.
Atmosphere and Music: Complaints about "horrible music (mad loud and only plays Chinese manyao clubbing song)" and a "very lala place and music (fengtao)" suggest an unappealing ambiance, especially noting it's "not appropriate for kids." A "strong cigarette smell at entrance" further detracts from the experience.
Safety Concerns: Lack of "safety railing for beginners" in rollerblading and the general feeling of unsafety due to the mall's perceived deadness are serious red flags.
Staff Professionalism: "Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff" who seemed "completely uninterested in their jobs" and met requests with "eye-rolls and dismissive responses" significantly hamper the customer experience.
Value for Money & Equipment: Despite promotional claims of affordability, customers feel the "pricing is outrageous" for the experience provided, noting "outdated equipment" and a "poorly set-up space that lacked any energy or effort." One reviewer explicitly stated, "not worth your Instagram, trust me!!!" and would "rather go Rollerwa (RM50) with x10 better experience."
While PLSC Entertainment promotes a diverse and affordable entertainment option, potential visitors should consider these contrasting customer experiences to set realistic expectations.
Based on publicly available information, PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) does offer various pricing structures and occasional promotions aimed at attracting visitors. While specifics can change, here's what has been noted:
Tiered Pricing for Activities: Activities like Drift Karting typically have tiered pricing based on duration (e.g., RM18 for 5 minutes, RM30 for 10 minutes, RM36 for 20 minutes). Roller skating passes are also offered, such as RM38 for 2 hours or a full-day pass at similar rates (RM30 for students, RM38 for adults for full day). Gel Blaster games can start from RM10-RM20 per person for a certain number of bullets.
Value Packages: PLSC often promotes "value packages" or "multiple activity" deals, where customers can enjoy a combination of activities (e.g., drift kart, gel blaster, roller skating) at a potentially discounted rate compared to purchasing them individually. An example "Lux Package" was noted at RM98 per person for multiple activities and extended time.
Social Media Specific Discounts: Some promotions are advertised through social media, such as TikTok, where followers might get slightly cheaper rates (e.g., RM18 for 5 mins drift kart for TikTok followers vs. RM33 for non-followers).
Targeted Promotions (e.g., for Women): Marketing efforts, as noted in a review, sometimes target specific demographics (e.g., "cheaper price" for women), though this can raise concerns about safety and overall environment as highlighted by the review.
It is important for prospective visitors to verify the latest pricing and promotions directly with PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) before visiting, as offers can be seasonal or subject to change. Given the feedback on pricing and value, comparing these offers with expectations of venue quality is advisable.

The direct phone numbers are the most reliable way to get up-to-date information regarding their operating hours, current pricing, specific activity availability, and any ongoing promotions. Given the mixed customer feedback, it would be prudent to call ahead to clarify any concerns, especially about the venue's condition or suitability for particular age groups or events, to ensure it meets your expectations before making the trip.
For locals in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, particularly those in Cheras, assessing the suitability of PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) at 1 Shamelin Mall requires a balanced view of its marketed offerings and the significant feedback from past customers. While it presents itself as an accessible indoor amusement park with a variety of activities, several crucial points need to be considered.
On the positive side, the amusement park offers a diverse range of indoor activities such as roller skating, drift karting, and gel blaster games. This variety appeals to a wide demographic looking for active entertainment away from the outdoor elements. Its location within 1 Shamelin Mall provides convenience and accessibility, with potential for easy parking and connectivity via ride-hailing services, making it geographically suitable for many KL residents. The extended operating hours (12 PM to 12 AM) also offer flexibility for visits, accommodating different schedules.
However, the negative customer reviews raise serious concerns about its overall suitability and safety for locals. Repeated feedback highlights a "super sketchy location" within a "very dead and unsafe" mall, which can deter visitors, especially families and women without male companions. Descriptions of "super low budget in deco, establishment, flooring," "unstable seats," "unmaintained toilets," and "no proper air conditioning" indicate significant issues with venue maintenance and comfort. The reported "horrible music" and "strong cigarette smell at entrance" further detract from a pleasant experience, making it potentially "not appropriate for kids."
Moreover, the criticisms regarding "incredibly rude and unprofessional staff" and the perception of "outrageous pricing" for a "poorly set-up space" directly contradict the idea of good value and enjoyable customer service. The comparison to other venues (e.g., Rollerwa being "x10 better experience" for a similar price) suggests that for locals seeking a quality amusement experience, PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) might not meet expectations for the cost involved.
In conclusion, while PLSC Entertainment (Cheras) offers a range of potentially fun activities, the overwhelming negative feedback regarding safety, venue condition, atmosphere, and staff professionalism suggests that it may not be suitable for many locals looking for a quality, comfortable, and safe amusement park experience. For those considering a visit, it is highly advisable to manage expectations, perhaps prioritize specific activities like drift karting (which has some positive mentions in other contexts from PLSC's broader presence) and be prepared for a potentially unrefined environment. For a truly enjoyable and worry-free outing, locals in Kuala Lumpur might find other, better-maintained and higher-rated alternatives more suitable.

Oct 24, 2022 · V Tanthe staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, they seemed completely uninterested in their jobs. When I asked for assistance, I was met with eye-rolls and dismissive responses, as if I was inconveniencing them just by being there. There was no enthusiasm, no effort to engage customers, and absolutely no attempt to make the experience enjoyable. On top of that, the pricing is outrageous. For what they charge, you’d expect a well-organized, exciting experience with good equipment and engaging gameplay. Instead, you’re basically paying an absurd amount of money to stand around in a nearly empty venue with nothing happening. The equipment was outdated, and the gameplay itself was dull and uninspired. There were no creative challenges, no real sense of excitement—just a poorly set-up space that lacked any energy or effort. And speaking of the venue, the place was practically deserted. I went during what should have been a busy time, but there was almost no one there. Overall, this was a complete waste of time and money. The staff were unfriendly, the experience was overpriced, and the actual game was incredibly boring. If you’re thinking about visiting this place, save yourself the disappointment and look for a better option.
Mar 22, 2025 · DENNIS 2007I recently tried out a CQB, and honestly, it was a complete letdown. First off, the staff service was hands-down the worst I’ve ever encountered. They were rude, unhelpful, and acted like they couldn’t care less about us being there. The game itself? Boring doesn’t even begin to cover it. What was hyped up as an immersive, thrilling experience turned out to be a dull slog with no real excitement. And to top it all off, it was ridiculously expensive. Save your money and skip this one—it’s not worth the time or the cash. It’s a completely trash and disaster.
Mar 22, 2025 · Yan Fei KhooYou can rent both roller skates and roller blades.Small area to skate with a uneven and unfinished surface.Even though the space is small, rollerbladers use the space dangerously fast even when kids are around. The floor is quite dirty and people throw cigarette butts to the floor. Yes, people smoke inside, with kids around!Air con is insufficient.Choice of music bad in my opinion, rave hardcore techno, intercalated with slows.Toilets are very poorly cleaned and people hang around inside them smoking.Staff is nice.
