Restaurant Ah Koong Reviews
It’s hard to beat this Ah Koong Noodle for good fresh & tasty fish balls, fish slices and noodles. It’s been here in USJ 9 Business centre for many years which is a testament to its food quality. There are wide range of additional ingredients you can choose from though theyre. not cheap, they complement the food. Prices have increased over the years - just hope it stays for a while.
Apr 10, 2025 · Ls ChanHad lunch here recently after being away for 7 years. The noodle soup is still nice albiet a bit too much msg. Ordered the curry soup version also, it's still fragrant and not too salty. The fish balls are bouncy and fresh, the same with other ingredients. The dry noodle is a bit bland and not fragrant enough despite adding fried pork lard.Still ok if you want a quick fix for your soup noodle craving.
Dec 20, 2024 · Fanny NgRestaurant Ah Koong specializes in fish-based dishes. I tried the Fish Ball Noodle (S) for RM12.50 (add noodle: RM1.00), Fried FuChuk/Bean Curd for RM1.70, and Fried TauFooPok for RM3.20.The noodles were not bad, but the prices felt a slight high (after added 5% Service Charge & 6% SST) for a location outside of a shopping mall. Overall, there are more affordable fish ball noodle options elsewhere.
Nov 16, 2024 · Wyvern Thin (Wyvern)Very juicy and delicious fish balls. They were giant and huge and packed with flavour! Would recommend people to try the mix flavour fish ball and the regular one.
Apr 12, 2025 · Amy ChanDon't need to explain...today I ordered curry laksa set for 13.9rm. I expected an upgrade from the normal 5.50rm for the noodles only. When I ordered take away for today, I found out the extra 8.40rm was only a small amount of sides even smaller than regular. I politely asked the staff if the volume of food was too little, I was met with a stern reply that the food right. I mean seriously, 8 ringgit more for a thin piece of bean curd, a slice of fishcake and 2 small spiced. Cmon lar I could buy another bowl of curry laksa for that price🤦♂️
