- Affordable Entry: With modest entrance fees (RM5 for adults and RM3 for children), the park offers excellent value for the extensive experience provided, making it accessible for a wide range of visitors.
Agro Technology Park MARDI Cameron Highlands, as a government-managed agro-tourism destination, typically maintains consistent entry fees, but there might be occasional special considerations or group rates. While widespread, constantly changing promotions like those found in retail malls are less common, visitors should be aware of the following:
- Standard Entry Fees: The current adult entry fee is RM5, and for children, it's RM3. This pricing is already very affordable, making the park accessible to a broad audience. Some sources also mention student rates (e.g., RM2) and free entry for children under six and disabled visitors, though it's always best to confirm these at the ticketing counter upon arrival.
- Group Rates: The park may offer special group rates, for instance, for school trips or tour groups (e.g., RM120 per bus for adults and RM60 per bus for students). These are usually arranged in advance, so group organisers should inquire directly.
- Educational Workshops and Guided Tours: While a basic entrance fee provides access to explore the park, some specialised activities like comprehensive guided fruit farm tours or hands-on workshops (e.g., on organic farming) might incur additional, separate charges. It's advisable to check with the park for the availability and pricing of such educational programs, as they are not always included in the general admission.
- Seasonal Offerings: During certain seasons, especially fruit seasons, there might be opportunities for fruit buffets or special tastings, which may be included in a special tour package or available for an additional fee. For example, during durian season, there might be a chance to savour this exotic fruit for a small additional fee.
- No specific large-scale, time-limited promotional campaigns like those seen in commercial shopping centres are typically highlighted. The value lies in the affordable standard entry fee and the extensive experience offered.
For the most current information on any potential special offers or variations in entry fees, it is always best to directly contact Agro Technology Park MARDI Cameron Highlands or check their official information channels upon arrival.
