Al-Islah Mosque Introduce
Welcome to Al-Islah Mosque, a cherished landmark and a pivotal community hub nestled in the heart of Kampung Sementa, Klang, Selangor. More than just a place of worship, Al-Islah Mosque serves as a vibrant centre for spiritual growth, community engagement, and social support for locals in the surrounding areas. Whether you're seeking a tranquil space for prayer, a place to deepen your understanding of Islam, or simply looking to connect with the local Muslim community, Al-Islah Mosque offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
Al-Islah Mosque is conveniently located at Batu 6, Jalan Kapar, Kampung Sementa, 42100 Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. Its strategic position makes it easily accessible for residents within Kampung Sementa and nearby vicinities in Klang. While specific public transport routes directly to the mosque may vary, its address on Jalan Kapar, a main thoroughfare, ensures good connectivity for those travelling by car or motorbike. For those driving, the mosque is known to offer ample parking facilities, which is a significant convenience, especially during busy congregational prayers like Friday prayers or during special events. This generous parking space helps ensure a smooth and hassle-free visit for all congregants, as noted by many visitors who appreciate the availability of parking. However, some community feedback suggests that improving road signage to guide visitors entering and exiting from the main road could enhance safety and ease of access.
Daily Prayers (Solat Berjemaah): Al-Islah Mosque hosts all five daily congregational prayers, providing a consistent and convenient spiritual anchor for the community. The mosque is known for attracting a significant number of congregants, particularly during Isyak prayers, which speaks to the strong sense of community in Kampung Sementa.
Friday Prayers (Solat Jumaat): As a central mosque in the area, Al-Islah Mosque is a focal point for Friday congregational prayers, drawing a large number of worshippers from Kampung Sementa and beyond. The mosque's capacity to accommodate many jemaah (congregants) during these peak times highlights its importance to the local Muslim population.
Religious Lectures and Classes: While specific regular programs are not publicly detailed, mosques typically offer various religious lectures, Quranic classes, and Islamic studies sessions for different age groups, aimed at enhancing religious knowledge and understanding within the community. It's advisable to check with the mosque administration for their latest schedules.
Community Gatherings and Events: Mosques often serve as venues for community gatherings, religious celebrations, and social events. Al-Islah Mosque, with its strong community ties, likely plays a significant role in fostering unity and camaraderie through various events, such as breaking fast during Ramadan, as evidenced by recent royal visits for such occasions.
Welfare and Charitable Activities: Mosques are often involved in charitable initiatives, including Zakat distribution, aid for the needy, and other welfare programs. The recent report of the Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah presenting Aidilfitri contributions to orphans at Masjid Al-Islah, along with significant donations from other entities, indicates the mosque's active role in community welfare and charity.
Facilities for Worshippers: The mosque provides essential facilities for worshippers, including prayer halls and ablution areas. Feedback from visitors also suggests a continued focus on maintaining cleanliness, though there's a suggestion for improving and expanding toilet cubicles for a more comfortable experience.

Ample Parking Space: A highly valued feature, especially in a bustling area like Klang, is the generous availability of carpark space. This eliminates a common point of frustration for many visitors, allowing them to focus on their prayers and activities.
Focus on Cleanliness: The mosque maintains a commendable level of cleanliness, contributing to a comfortable and respectful environment for all who visit.
Potential for Recycling Initiatives: A community suggestion indicates a proactive approach to enhancing the mosque's role, with a proposal for setting up a clothes recycle centre/collecting point. This highlights a desire for the mosque to be a center for broader community betterment.
As a mosque, Al-Islah Mosque does not typically offer commercial promotions or discounts in the traditional sense. Its "offers" are more aligned with spiritual and community benefits. These include:
Spiritual Enrichment Programs: Access to religious lectures, Quranic recitations, and Islamic studies, often provided free of charge, to enrich the spiritual lives of congregants.
Community Support and Welfare: Opportunities to participate in or benefit from various charitable initiatives, such as Zakat collection and distribution, food aid, and assistance for underprivileged families within the community.
Volunteer Opportunities: The chance for individuals to contribute their time and effort to serve the mosque and the wider community, fostering a sense of belonging and collective responsibility.

Feb 21, 2024 · Mohd HishamIt is very comfortable for travelers to stop by. Has aircond, clean and spacious to take a break. Has nearby places to eat.
Dec 29, 2024 · Danielle DelaneyThis is one of the best mosques in this area. It is a good place for Muslims both locals and visitors to perform their daily obligatory prayers. Usually very crowded during the maghrib prayer. The place for ablution is very convenient which required no shoes. It is located just by the road side and has a large parking space.
Dec 24, 2017 · Zamri LapieMasjid al islah sementa is one of my favorite mosques to perform prayers there. This is because the mosque has enough facilities and is well maintained, in addition, around the mosque there are food stalls that can be visited immediately after performing prayers. there are also many other shops such as barber shops and schools. The mosque also provides a variety of activities and also offers wedding facilities that can be used by the couple. I rated it 5 stars because this mosque is located in the center or the city as it will easier the muslim travelers to stop here and have a nice rest
