Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop is located on an Unnamed Road, Selangor, Malaysia. While a precise street address might not be readily available as it's a natural landmark, its fame ensures that it's widely recognizable and easily found by navigating to "Broga Hill" via GPS. It's situated near Semenyih, at the border of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, making it a popular destination for residents from both states, especially those in the Klang Valley region.
For locals in Selangor, particularly those in areas like Kajang, Semenyih, Cheras, or even Kuala Lumpur, Broga Hill is highly accessible by private vehicle. The drive is generally straightforward, though traffic on weekends, especially early mornings for sunrise hikes, can be heavy. Regarding parking, there are a couple of options: one is a free parking area, which is noted to be "quite far from the trail," potentially adding a significant walk to your hike. The alternative is a chargeable parking area (RM5), managed by a private entity, which is closer to the trailhead. Hikers often opt for the paid parking for convenience, especially when aiming to catch the sunrise. While public transport might not take you directly to the trailhead, ride-sharing services could be an option from nearby towns like Semenyih. It's advisable to plan your journey, especially for sunrise hikes, ensuring you arrive well before dawn to secure parking and start your ascent in good time.
Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop, as a natural hiking area, doesn't offer conventional commercial services like a restaurant or shop. However, it provides access to various trails and amenities crucial for hikers:
- Hiking Trails: There are primarily two main trail options leading up Broga Hill:
- Forest Council Trail (Free): This trail, set up by the Forest Council, is free to use. It's described as "quite steep at some of the places" and bypasses the first peak. Reviews suggest it has "guides such as, where to go, the rope & how far left the journey to the top."
- Private Trail (Chargeable): This trail charges an RM5 fee per person. It is the recommended route "for those who wants to get all 3 peaks," implying it offers a more direct path to conquer all hilltops, including the 3rd Hilltop.
- Designated Parking Areas: As mentioned, both free and paid parking facilities are available to accommodate visitors' vehicles.
- Sunrise Viewing Points: The main "service" offered by the hill itself is access to prime locations for watching the sunrise, particularly from the second and third peaks.
- Basic Amenities (Likely): While not explicitly detailed, natural attractions usually have basic facilities like resting points, and sometimes rudimentary restrooms at the base, though hikers should always come prepared.
Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop is renowned for specific features and highlights that draw in countless hikers. These attributes contribute significantly to its popularity as a premier hiking destination in Selangor:
- Stunning Sunrise Views: This is arguably the biggest draw. The second and third peaks are highlighted as the "best to take pic or to watch sunrise," offering panoramic vistas as the sun rises over the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant colors.
- Three Peaks Challenge: The ability to conquer all "3 peaks" is a significant feature, especially for those who opt for the private trail. The 3rd hilltop, while offering amazing views, is noted to be "quite obstructed by the stone surrounding," suggesting a unique, rugged landscape at the very summit.
- Moderate Difficulty (for many): Reviews indicate it's of "moderate difficulty" for those who seldom hike or are overweight, making it challenging but achievable for a broad range of fitness levels. This balance makes it appealing to both casual and more serious hikers.
- Clear Trail Guidance (Forest Council Trail): The free trail, managed by the Forest Council, is praised for having "guides such as, where to go, the rope & how far left the journey to the top," which is invaluable for safety and navigation.
- Relatively Short Hike Duration: One review mentions a "Route: One & half hour" with "Total steps: 9k+," indicating a reasonably short yet intensive hike, perfect for a morning outing.
- Natural Scenery: Beyond the sunrise, the hill offers natural beauty throughout the hike, with its distinctive 'lalang' grass landscape providing a unique backdrop compared to dense rainforest trails.
As a natural hiking area and not a commercial business with typical retail operations, Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop does not offer traditional "promotions or special offers" in the marketing sense. There are no ongoing sales, loyalty programs, or discount packages.
However, the value propositions for visitors are inherent in its accessibility and the choices provided:
- Free Trail Option: The existence of a free trail, managed by the Forest Council, is a significant "offer" in itself, allowing anyone to experience the hike without an entry fee. This is a considerable benefit for budget-conscious hikers.
- Affordable Private Trail Access: The RM5 charge for the private trail is a minimal fee for enhanced access, especially for those who wish to tackle all three peaks. This small investment often translates into a more convenient or complete hiking experience.
- Natural Beauty and Health Benefits: The primary "promotion" is the inherent value of experiencing stunning natural landscapes, particularly the sunrise, and gaining physical and mental health benefits from the hike. This is a priceless offering that draws people repeatedly.
There are no specific contact details provided for promotions as this is not a commercial enterprise in that sense. The best way to leverage the "offers" here is simply to visit and make use of the available trails, choosing the one that best suits your preference and budget.
As Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop is a natural landmark and hiking area rather than a commercial establishment, there isn't a dedicated customer service line or formal contact information in the traditional business sense. Information regarding its management or general inquiries would typically fall under local forestry departments or district councils, but specific contact details for hikers are not commonly provided.

For current conditions, trail updates, or any official advisories, hikers generally rely on community groups, online forums, or official notices at the trailhead itself. The most direct way to get information is to visit the site and observe any posted signs or ask fellow hikers. It's always advisable for hikers to prepare thoroughly before their visit, as direct contact for on-the-spot assistance might be limited.
Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop is exceptionally well-suited for locals in Selangor for a multitude of compelling reasons, making it a staple in the region's outdoor recreation scene. Its convenient location near the border of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, easily accessible from various parts of the Klang Valley, means a relatively short drive for a fulfilling escape into nature. This proximity makes it ideal for a quick morning adventure, especially for those aiming to catch the sunrise.
The hill offers flexible hiking options, with both a free trail managed by the Forest Council and a private, chargeable trail. This choice caters to different preferences and budgets, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience. The moderate difficulty level, as noted by hikers, makes it challenging enough for a satisfying workout yet achievable for individuals who may not hike regularly, promoting active lifestyles within the community. The breathtaking sunrise views from the second and third peaks provide an unparalleled reward for the early morning effort, creating memorable experiences and fantastic photo opportunities. While the 3rd hilltop's view might be slightly obstructed by stones, the overall journey and the views from the lower peaks are highly lauded.
Crucially, Broga Hill serves as an excellent spot for locals to reconnect with nature, exercise, and enjoy a shared outdoor experience with friends and family. Despite mentions of the route being "quite slippery" and becoming "pretty warm after 8am," these are common considerations for any Malaysian hike and emphasize the importance of proper footwear and timing. Overall, Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop offers an accessible, rewarding, and visually stunning hiking adventure right on our doorstep in Selangor, making it a perfect natural retreat for the community.

Broga Hill 3rd Hilltop Reviews
Moderate difficulty for me who seldom hikes and overweight 😅The free parking is quite far from the trail so end up parking to the chargeable ones. The free trail is quite steep at some of the places, and it bypass the first peak of broga hill. For those who wants to get all 3 peaks, use the private trail which charge rm5 per person. Most amazing view on the way to second and third peak. Third peak, which is the hilltop, view is quite obstructed by the stone surrounding.Personally i think bukit berekeh in sungai siput is much nicer 😅

Aug 17, 2022 · Miss AimyThe hike to the first peak is easy and it is getting more challenging towards the second and third peak. The trail to the second and third peak is slippery. The best spot is at the second peak with great panoramic view. Try to reach peak by 9am to avoid the heat as it is started to get warm then.
Mar 20, 2021 · brandon kuGood place to hike with. The hilltop is plenty of people. I arrived before the sunrise yet it’s mountain of people overthere. Kinda easy to hike. The scenery isn’t that pretty as my last visited 5years back. The hill is suitable for beginner to hike/walk around.A coconut drinks is a must! RM5 for one, yummy!
