Bukit Jugra Peak

Unnamed Road, Sungai Ingat, 42700 Banting, Selangor, Malaysia

4.0
Good walking trail... with proper ropes installed throughout the trail. The trails is actually a loop... so, you can choose to start the hiking either way and you'll end up at the same starting point. The trails has lots of up and down slopes to manage hence is quite a challenge ...Do try to find the lighthouse. Is quite difficult to find the signboard and the trail leading to the lighthouse is very thick with bushes/trees. But the view is simply amazing and worthy of the extra walking efforts. - Colin Chan

Location and Accessibility

Bukit Jugra Peak is located at Unnamed Road, Sungai Ingat, 42700 Banting, Selangor, Malaysia. This places it within the historic area of Jugra, a town in the Kuala Langat district of Selangor. Jugra itself is well-known for its rich heritage and scenic coastal landscapes.

Reaching Bukit Jugra is quite straightforward for most Selangorians. If you're coming from major urban centres like Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, or Klang, the journey to Banting involves driving along well-maintained highways and state roads. Once you arrive in Banting, navigating to Sungai Ingat and the base of Bukit Jugra is relatively easy using GPS or popular navigation apps. The area is a recognized landmark, especially for outdoor activities.

A significant advantage for visitors is the ample parking available near the starting points of the trails, often close to Masjid Al-Muttaqin in Kampung Permatang Pasir, which is a common entry point for hikers. While there might be a small parking fee, it's generally manageable. The accessibility by car makes it a convenient choice for a day trip or a morning hike. For those opting for public transport, buses can take you to Banting town, from where a taxi or ride-sharing service would be necessary to reach the base of the hill. However, driving is often the most convenient option for hikers carrying gear. The location's natural setting means you’ll be quickly immersed in greenery once you arrive.

These platforms might announce special days or initiatives related to the park.
