Positioned as a potential spot for family gatherings and a relaxing retreat, it offers a blend of natural surroundings and recreational amenities, making it a curious option for those seeking a break within our own beloved state.
D’PUMA HOUSE, while not a conventional tourist attraction like a historical site or a natural park, functions as a private accommodation or homestay designed to host groups. Its appeal lies in providing a dedicated space where families can gather, celebrate, and unwind away from the everyday hustle. The mention of it being "nice" and "Best for family gathering" in a customer review suggests it caters well to groups looking for a private setting to connect and make memories.
The concept of D’PUMA HOUSE leans towards offering a complete experience within its premises, with facilities like a swimming pool and comfortable rooms, aiming to be a self-contained getaway. While some reviews indicate areas for improvement, particularly regarding service and food options, the core offering of a space for communal activities remains central. For us locals, exploring such places provides alternative options for our staycations and group events, supporting local businesses and experiencing different facets of Pahang's hospitality.
It's important to approach D’PUMA HOUSE with a clear understanding of its offerings and manage expectations, especially regarding service quality, as highlighted by some customer feedback. However, for those prioritizing a private space for gatherings and willing to take certain considerations into account, D’PUMA HOUSE in Kampung Pulau Mansok could still present a viable option for a unique family retreat in Jerantut. This article aims to provide a factual overview of what D’PUMA HOUSE offers, drawing from available public information and customer reviews, to help locals make informed decisions for their next gathering.
D’PUMA HOUSE is located in Kampung Pulau Mansok, 27150 Jerantut, Pahang, Malaysia. Kampung Pulau Mansok is a rural village situated within the Jerantut district, a region widely recognized as the gateway to Taman Negara National Park. This location means D’PUMA HOUSE offers a tranquil, natural setting, away from urban congestion, while still being reasonably accessible from Jerantut town.
Jerantut town is well-connected by federal roads, making it straightforward to reach by private vehicle from various parts of Pahang, including Kuantan, Temerloh, and other major towns. From Jerantut town, the drive to Kampung Pulau Mansok would involve navigating local roads that typically wind through picturesque rural landscapes, featuring oil palm plantations, traditional Malay villages, and lush greenery. While a precise street number might not be explicitly given for the property within the kampung, its presence on mapping services suggests it is identifiable. Utilizing GPS or mapping applications with the address "Kampung Pulau Mansok, 27150 Jerantut, Pahang" should guide you to the general area, and local signage or inquiry might be needed for the exact location of D’PUMA HOUSE.
For those relying on public transport, reaching Jerantut town is possible via bus or train. However, direct public transport services to Kampung Pulau Mansok or D’PUMA HOUSE are unlikely. Therefore, guests would need to arrange for a local taxi or a ride-hailing service (if available in this rural area) from Jerantut town to reach the accommodation. For most local visitors, particularly those planning a family gathering with luggage and supplies, travelling by private vehicle would be the most convenient and practical option.
The journey itself offers a glimpse into the serene rural life of Pahang, setting the tone for a peaceful retreat at D’PUMA HOUSE. Guests should expect informal parking on-site or nearby the property, allowing for easy access.
Based on customer reviews and the nature of D’PUMA HOUSE as a facility for family gatherings, the primary services offered revolve around providing accommodation and a space for leisure. Key potential services include:
- Accommodation: The main offering is lodging, likely in the form of multiple rooms or a single house setup, designed to host families or groups. Reviews suggest provision of essentials like "body wash and towel," indicating basic amenities are supplied.
- Swimming Pool: A significant amenity, as mentioned in reviews, is a swimming pool, providing a recreational option for guests. However, it's noted that cleanliness can be an issue ("Swimming pool a bit of dirty and clowdy.. My body itch after swim."), so it's advisable to clarify the pool's maintenance status.
- Common Areas for Gathering: The suitability for "family gathering" suggests ample common spaces, both indoors and outdoors, for guests to socialize, dine, and relax together.
- Food and Beverage Services: While there's an indication of food being available ("the food doesn't have a lot of choice," "Ordering/delivering food unsystematic," "Long wait for ready made food"), this seems to be an area of significant concern for past customers, with reports of "rude staffs," "worst customer service," and "miscommunication." Guests should manage expectations regarding food service quality and variety, and possibly plan to bring their own food or source from outside.
- Basic Amenities: Essentials like mosquito repellent are recommended by a reviewer, suggesting it's a useful item to bring, implying the setting is natural with potential for insects.
It's crucial for prospective visitors to contact D’PUMA HOUSE directly to confirm specific services and discuss any concerns, especially regarding food and pool maintenance, to ensure a comfortable stay that meets their expectations.
D’PUMA HOUSE offers several features that could be highlights for guests, particularly those looking for a group-friendly retreat in a natural setting:

- Natural and Peaceful Setting: Located in Kampung Pulau Mansok, the house is set amidst natural surroundings, offering a peaceful and serene environment away from the city noise, which can be very appealing for a relaxing getaway.
- Private Swimming Pool: The presence of a swimming pool is a major draw, especially for families with children, providing a dedicated space for recreation and cooling off, though its cleanliness has been a point of concern.
- Basic Comforts Provided: Essentials like body wash and towels are supplied, indicating a level of thoughtfulness in providing basic comforts for guests.
- Potential for Outdoor Activities: Given its natural surroundings, the location potentially offers opportunities for light outdoor activities, walks, or simply enjoying the rural ambiance.
- Privacy: As a private house rental, it offers a degree of privacy that might not be available in traditional hotels or resorts, allowing groups to enjoy their time without interruption.
While some features like the swimming pool cleanliness and food service have received negative feedback, the core appeal of D’PUMA HOUSE lies in its potential as a dedicated space for private group retreats in a natural setting. Visitors should prioritize confirming the current status of facilities and services before booking.
Based on the available public information, D’PUMA HOUSE, operating as a private accommodation or homestay, does not widely advertise formal "promotions" or "special offers" in the way commercial hotels might. Its pricing would likely be based on standard rates for group bookings or per-night stays.
- Group Booking Rates: Given its suitability for "family gathering," it's highly probable that D’PUMA HOUSE offers set rates for booking the entire property for a specified number of guests, with additional charges for extra persons beyond a base capacity. This structure inherently acts as a "package" for groups.
- Direct Booking Advantage: As with many independent accommodations, contacting D’PUMA HOUSE directly might sometimes yield the best rates or allow for flexible arrangements not available through third-party platforms.
Without specific published promotions, prospective guests are strongly advised to:
1. Contact D’PUMA HOUSE directly via the provided phone numbers (+60 19-543 2822) to inquire about their current rates, availability, and any specific packages for family gatherings or longer stays.

For large families or groups of friends seeking a dedicated, private space to celebrate, bond, or simply relax away from the public eye, D’PUMA HOUSE offers that exclusivity. Sep 15, 2024 · Ezzlieyatul AqmaHouse can fit upto 5 people. Has kiddy swimming pool. Perfect for small family. Wish the animals are given more attention. Probably low on budget since low-to-medium visitors.
Oct 23, 2024 · Lemon ManThis is my honest review. The worst service ever. Rude staff, not gonna mention which station but u know who u are. Waiting time is very long. The order system is not systematic. Food 1/10 plus lempeng tak masak. Dont do business if you cannot handle your customers’ orders well. Not recommended.
