Empire City Halo Sunday Tower Introduce
Hello, fellow Selangorian! Are you considering a short stay or a long-term rental in the bustling and vibrant area of Damansara Perdana? The Empire City Damansara complex is a prominent landmark and a popular choice for many due to its strategic location and modern appeal. One of the lodging options available here is at the Empire City Halo Sunday Tower. Before you make a decision, it's always good to get the full picture, especially from the perspective of people who have lived and stayed there. Let’s take an honest look at this lodging based on real local feedback, so you can decide if it’s the right fit for your needs.
Empire City Halo Sunday Tower is located in the heart of the Empire City Damansara development, a well-known integrated hub in Damansara Perdana. The address, Halo Sunday Tower, Empire City Damansara, 47820 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, places you right in a commercial and entertainment zone. As locals, we are familiar with this area and its proximity to major shopping centers like The Curve, IKEA, and 1 Utama. It is well-connected to major highways, including the LDP, Penchala Link, and NKVE, making it accessible by car from various parts of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. However, accessibility through public transport is a significant point to consider. Reviews highlight that there is "no public transport nearby at any walkable distance." This means that you will need to rely heavily on ride-hailing services like Grab or have your own car to get around. While this isn't a problem for many of us who drive or use Grab daily, it is a crucial factor for those who prefer public transport. The building has a covered car park, which is a plus for car owners, but even that has its challenges, as noted in reviews regarding parking management and availability. So, in short, if you are a driver or a Grab user, the location is highly convenient; otherwise, you may find accessibility a bit challenging.
Based on customer feedback, the services and management of Empire City Halo Sunday Tower have received some critical reviews that are important to consider. While the security is noted as "good" and the carpark cleanliness is also praised, the management’s attentiveness to defects and maintenance issues seems to be a major point of dissatisfaction. A review mentions that "the management is not attentive at all for those defects reports lodged" and that they are not receptive to tenant feedback. Another long-term tenant noted facing "few dissatisfaction" issues over a two-year stay. It is described as a self-service type of lodging, where you are responsible for your own living space, which is common in serviced apartments. The provided amenities can include a kitchenette, free WiFi, and air conditioning. However, it is crucial to note that the building might lack certain common facilities that are standard in many other KL buildings, such as a dedicated gym or laundry room within the tower itself. It appears that there are different management companies for different units, which can cause confusion regarding access to facilities.
Here is a breakdown of services based on reviews:
- Good security measures for the building.
- Generally good cleanliness in common areas like the carpark.
- Management response to defects and issues may be a concern.
- Basic amenities like WiFi and kitchen facilities are typically available in units.
The features and highlights of this lodging are a mix of positives and significant drawbacks that you, as a local user, should be aware of. On the positive side, the location within Empire City is a major draw, offering a vibrant atmosphere with many commercial and retail outlets nearby. The units are typically studio-style with spacious layouts, providing a comfortable living space. However, based on reviews, there are some serious challenges to be aware of. The presence of **cockroaches** is mentioned as a persistent problem, which is a major hygiene concern. **Water leakage issues** are also highlighted. For those who work from home, the **ongoing construction noise** in the area is a significant deterrent. **Poor soundproofing** is another issue, with tenants being able to hear their neighbors’ activities late at night. The **lift condition** is also described as poorly maintained. The parking situation is also noted as problematic due to a lack of designated spaces and illegal parking. While some listings may show access to facilities like a gym or swimming pool, reviews suggest that access might not be guaranteed for all tenants due to different management companies. It's a complex with a lot of potential, but these highlighted issues are important to consider.
- Strategic location within Empire City Damansara.
- Spacious studio-type units.
- Security is noted as a strong point.
- Can have issues with pests, water leakage, and maintenance.
- Poor soundproofing and ongoing construction noise are major drawbacks.
- Facility access (gym, pool) may be restricted.
- Parking can be difficult due to lack of designated spots.

In conclusion, is Empire City Halo Sunday Tower suitable for locals? It can be, but with a clear understanding of its pros and cons. For locals who are looking for a convenient location with easy access to shopping and dining via their own car or Grab, and who are willing to overlook certain maintenance and management issues for a potentially lower rental price, it could be an option. However, for those who value quiet living, responsive management, and guaranteed access to facilities like a gym or laundry, this might not be the right place. The reviews paint a picture of a lodging that has some significant maintenance challenges, from pests to poor soundproofing. While the location is great and the security is reliable, it's essential to weigh these factors before committing to a stay. If you prioritize location and affordability and are prepared to manage some potential inconveniences, this place might work for you. Otherwise, it's worth exploring other options in the area.

Empire City Halo Sunday Tower Reviews
The only thing is that....the management is not attentive at all for those defects reports lodged. They will find ways to counter your reports at all cost and squeeze you out of your maintenance fees. The level of stupidity the manager involved in your defects case is dumbfounded. The security is good... cleanliness for carpark is good.... please improve your personnel's attitude towards the tenant here.... we dont owe you anything.... you are paid to do your job.... should carry out pest control for this building
Jun 04, 2025 · CHOO STEVEHave been staying here for 2 year plus, I will not recommend others to stay. These are the few dissatisfaction i am facing.1. The cockroaches are everywhere, tried many ways to kill them but they are still here.2. Water Leaking Issue3. Parking (season parking)- 1 unit is eligible for 1 season parking, but there are no designated carpark for each unit. Plus, management did not take any action to the cars who double park or illegal parking (some cars just park at a narrow space and block the road which caused difficulties for other car owner to move their cars)4. The ongoing contruction sounds - Bear in mind if your job require u to WFH. This is just not the right place for u as it is very noisy.5. No facilities for us to enjoy6. Abandon cars in the basement carpark still exist.7. Soundproof very bad, u can hear people walking, laughing and slamming their doors in the midnight.8. Lift condition not good either. Seems so poorly maintain.
