Taman Berserah is known for its mix of residential zones and commercial establishments, offering a lively local atmosphere.
The accessibility of Greenlast Hotel is indeed one of its most significant advantages, as highlighted by customer reviews stating "Location is the only plus point for this hotel." Taman Berserah is strategically positioned, providing relatively easy access to various parts of Kuantan. The hotel is situated along a main road or is easily reachable from major thoroughfares, which simplifies navigation for guests arriving by car from different parts of Pahang or other states.

This makes Greenlast Hotel a practical choice for both leisure travelers looking to explore Kuantan and business travelers needing to be close to urban facilities.
Furthermore, being in Taman Berserah means guests will have ready access to local amenities. This area is typically rich with eateries, from humble hawker stalls serving authentic Malaysian fare to more established restaurants, offering a wide array of dining options. Convenience stores, pharmacies, and other local businesses are also likely to be within close proximity, ensuring that guests can easily acquire daily necessities during their stay. - Room Accommodation: The hotel provides private rooms for guests, typically equipped with a bed.
- Air Conditioning: Rooms are expected to have air conditioning, which is essential for comfort in Kuantan’s tropical climate.
- Television: A TV is provided in the rooms, although guest feedback suggests that the quality of channels or screen size might be basic ("TV is just a waste as no clear shows can be watched and it’s a small tv").
- Bathroom Facilities: Each room would typically include an en-suite bathroom with basic toilet and shower facilities, although water pressure has been noted as an issue by guests ("Water pressure is super slow").
- Card Access System: The hotel utilizes a card system for room access, and it's noted that guests "will need to scan the card for the next day" if staying for more than one night, indicating a daily validation process.

- Parking Availability: While not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, a hotel with "Location is the only plus point" often implies good accessibility and potentially adequate parking, which is a key consideration for guests traveling by car.
It is also important to address feedback regarding certain aspects:
- Water Pressure: Guests have consistently noted issues with low water pressure in the showers. This is an area where improvement is desired by visitors.
- TV Quality: The television in rooms is described as small with unclear shows, suggesting basic entertainment options.
- Cleanliness/Maintenance of Walkways: A "wet smell" and concerns about carpet cleanliness in walkways have been mentioned, indicating areas that might require attention for a more pleasant environment.

For us, the residents of Pahang, Greenlast Hotel in Kuantan offers a practical and accessible lodging choice, particularly for those whose primary concerns are location and budget. While it’s important to acknowledge that it operates as a "decent budget hotel" with some reported areas for improvement, its strengths lie precisely in these two critical aspects that often matter most for local travelers.
The most significant advantage of Greenlast Hotel for locals is undoubtedly its location in Taman Berserah. We know this area well – it's a bustling hub with easy access to major roads connecting to all parts of Kuantan. Whether you’re heading to Teluk Cempedak for a family outing, to the city center for shopping or business, or simply exploring the local food scene, Greenlast Hotel serves as an excellent starting point. The convenience of being surrounded by numerous eateries and local shops means you don't have to venture far for meals or daily necessities, which is a major plus when you're familiar with Kuantan's layout. As a budget hotel, Greenlast Hotel offers an affordable alternative to more expensive accommodations. For short stays, business trips where the hotel is merely a place to sleep, or for those who prefer to spend their money on experiences rather than lavish hotel amenities, Greenlast Hotel fits the bill perfectly. It provides the fundamental requirements for a comfortable rest – a bed and air conditioning – which are often the main priorities after a long day. While feedback on aspects like water pressure and TV quality suggests areas for potential enhancement, these might be acceptable trade-offs for the significant savings on accommodation.
In essence, Greenlast Hotel is a functional base for exploring Kuantan without straining your wallet. It's suitable for the pragmatic traveler from Pahang who values strategic location and affordability above luxurious frills. If you're looking for a no-nonsense place to stay that gets the job done and allows you to be close to Kuantan's main attractions and conveniences, Greenlast Hotel is certainly worth considering for your next visit to our beautiful state. Greenlast Hotel Reviews
If you are staying for more than a night will need to scan the card for the next day. Water pressure is super slow even I can pee better. TV is just a waste as no clear shows can be watched and it’s a small tv. Walkway to the room has a kind of wet smell as its carpet has not been cleaned for ages I guess. Bed was like about to break. Location is the only plus point for this hotel…
Jun 22, 2025 · Jackson JohnA decent budget hotel. The only problem was the shower head pressure was low and i did not feel it satisfying enough. I hope they improve it.Nevertheless, it was a decent budget stay.
May 14, 2025 · SureshThe room is big come with clean and tidy at affordable price for holiday trip with the helpfull hotel staff.
Jan 17, 2025 · Effendi ZahariWe walked in at 9pm on a long weekend for a quick overnight stay on the way back to KL after an island vacation and so expectations were not high - at least we got a room! The room itself was very spacious for 4 pax (king bed + a single but dated carpet and fixtures. Bathroom was surprisingly updated and spacious - only complaint is the low water pressure. We got the front room on Level 2 which is directly above the restaurant/bar on Level 1. If you have a choice, ask for any floor beyond Level 2 as the karaoke music from the bar is audible when ppl sing. It was borderline bearable as long as no one was singing and can continue beyond 12am till about 1am. The reception did say that if too loud, can complain but I'm realistic enough to know you can't "shush" a bar when ppl are having a good time! 😅 Carpark not an issue. By the way, this is one of those hotels that has a name that sounds good in Chinese but when directly translated to English, is a bit off...
