House of Art (HEART) Residence, Kg Attap Reviews
A Hidden Gem in the Heart of KL!I've been staying at House of Art, the first art co-living space in Kuala Lumpur, and it's been an amazing experience! It's a cosy and private place, mainly home to university/college students and young working adults, perfect if you're looking for a creative and friendly environment. The shared bathrooms and pantry are always clean and surprisingly comfortable since only a few rooms share each, and each floor is divided by gender, which adds a layer of comfort and privacy.Location-wise, it's unbeatable. Just a 5-minute walk to Stadium Merdeka, where I love going for morning or evening runs. Maharajalela Monorail is literally a stone’s throw away, and Pasar Seni MRT/LRT is within walking distance too. On weekends, I usually walk to Central Market or hop on the monorail for a few stops to Bukit Bintang, Lalaport and Times Square are just around the corner. You're truly smack in the middle of KL here! What makes it extra special is the vibrant community. There are free monthly events for tenants (you can even organize your own with support from the landlord, the Yayasan!). It's more than just a place to stay, it’s a place to connect, create, and be part of something.Highly recommend if you’re looking for affordable city living with a creative twist and a real sense of community!
May 13, 2025 · Putih Momrooms here are designed like a dormitory, and overall, it’s been a great experience so far. Each level of the house is thoughtfully divided according to gender, with separate floors for male and female residents. This arrangement gives an added sense of privacy and comfort, especially for those who prefer gender-specific spaces. One of the things I appreciate most is the security system. Every door, from the main entrance to the individual floor access, requires an access card, which ensures that only residents can enter specific areas. This makes the entire living environment feel very safe and controlled. There is also a cozy lobby area where residents can relax and mingle. It’s a nice communal space for socializing, doing some light work, or just taking a break. Another great feature is the pantry area, which is more like a shared kitchen. It’s equipped with essential appliances like a refrigerator, microwave, and even an air fryer. This makes it super convenient for anyone who wants to cook or prepare their own meals, especially for students or young working adults. The overall atmosphere here is friendly and secure, with shared facilities that encourage a sense of community while still respecting personal boundaries. It's ideal for anyone looking for a practical and comfortable place to stay, whether short-term or long-term.
May 13, 2025 · SITI NURHALIZA BINTI MD ISAIt’s a very lovely place esp if you’re a student or someone who works in the art industry looking for a short or long stay period. There’s a dedicated floor to provide many activities such as working, workshops, meeting, you name it. Most importantly I met 2 fur bebes here! The bedroom itself is neat with IKEA furnitures. There’s also a full kitchen, washing facilities, and enough toilet/shower. I can tell that this place has been well-designed to its needs.Going outside, its location is very strategic. There’s some kind of creative hub just across the building where you can get nice sweets and drinks, shop for artsy goods, etc. Several good F&B places can be found as well, my favourite is Kampung Attap Corner and Restoran ZK. Commuting is easy with Maharajalela monorail station nearby, or you can walk around 600m to find Petaling Street, one of the busiest tourist area in KL, where you can also find Pasar Seni station to get LRT, MRT, and busses.
May 20, 2025 · Sano BhawikaHad a very pleasant stay at Heart. The place is clean, relaxed, and has a chill vibe. The rooftop offers a great view, and the access card system makes it feel safe and secure. It’s also conveniently located near the Maharajalela Monorail. The common areas are cozy and perfect for getting work done. They also host free art-related events from time to time, which are worth checking out. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!
