Krua Thai Moo-Ka-Ta Restaurant (Old Klang Road) (Non Halal) Reviews
The portions are slightly smaller compared to Thai dishes of the same price range, but still acceptable. The braised pork leg is delicious, cooked to a tender and soft texture. The pickled vegetables are surprisingly tasty, without any unpleasant odor.I really like the sauce for the pork belly – the fish sauce adds a nice touch and balances out the greasiness. The fried fish arrived still crispy, which is great, but it has a slight fishy smell. As for the sauce, I have a small suggestion: there’s too much sweet chili sauce, which overpowers the flavors of the sour mango and kaffir lime leaves. The seafood isn’t fresh enough, and it’s overcooked, which caused too much steam during the cooking process, diluting the dish's flavor. It doesn’t compare to the street food in Thailand at the same price range. This is the only dish I’m dissatisfied with, as it lacked the rich aroma I was expecting.

Mar 06, 2025 · Claudia BangkokDec2024Second time wasn’t as great. I wonder what happened.2023We found this restaurant via google rating. So glad we tried it. We really enjoyed the food. Many ordered the BBQ but we decided to go for the cooked dishes. Reasonably priced and very authentic. The menu was extensive.Pork with basil leaf 4.5* out of 5 stars. (Spicy and very tasty)Fried squid 5* (light and fluffy, not oily)Tomyam fried rice 4*Pad Thai 4*Spicy kangkung 3.5*Red ruby dessert 3* (Way too sweet and the santan is clearly from a packet)The waiters/waitresses are all Thai so communication was difficult. You just have to trust the menu.Interestingly there is an explosion of Thai restaurants along old klang road!
Feb 22, 2025 · Tan TMI’m a regular for this shop and no doubt their food quality is good but there is a little disappointment from my orders today whereby my khai jiao moo sap doesn’t come with rice and I ordered this item with rice on it . I tried calling your outlet numerous times and no one is attending to the phone at all before i decided to post this in my review. Please acknowledge this issue please , thank you.
Feb 21, 2025 · KIM TEHMookata is value for money. Meat are nicely marinated. Pineapple fried rice is nicely done, fragrant with layer of aroma and spice - rice is not too soggy or hard.Must try their glass noodle in the soup if u order mookata. It's really awesome.Somtam is Ok, will be better if it's added with more sauces and chili (I guess this is adjusted to local taste).Service is fast, keep up the good work.Kudos guys.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Note: Reservations can be done via Google form. Effortless arrangement and confirmation will be sent via email. 📧✅
