The presence of the words 'Kelana Putera' engraved on its base further supports this strong historical link. This powerful artifact was discovered in Titi, a place within the Jelebu district, and was subsequently brought to its current location by Dato Undang Abdullah bin Panglima Muda, who served as the 12th Luak Undang. He took this "meriam" (cannon) and placed it on a hill near his station, signifying its importance and perhaps its role in asserting authority or defending territory. While it stands as a silent sentinel today, it speaks volumes about the historical dynamics and the influential figures of Negeri Sembilan's past. - Engraved 'Kelana Putera' Markings: A crucial highlight is the inscription of the words "'Kelana Putera'" on the base of the cannon. This directly links it to Dato Kelana Putera, the revered title of the Dato Undang Sungai Ujong, making it a unique artifact of traditional Malay leadership.

"His Majesty took this meri and placed it on a hill near his station."

Meriam Dato Undang Abdullah Reviews
The dagger-shaped instruction board next to the cannon is very distinctive, but it is currently broken and it is not sure when it will be repaired. There are many mosquitoes, so it is recommended to bring mosquito repellent.I went there again a few months later and found that the broken sign had still not been repaired. While taking pictures, I found a relatively large bee (not sure what kind of bee it was). It is not ruled out that there are bee swarms in the nearby area. You need to pay attention to safety when coming to take pictures.
