For those who enjoy a leisurely stroll, the museum is also centrally located enough to be easily reached on foot from other popular city center attractions like Dataran Merdeka, Central Market, and the Kuala Lumpur Tower, allowing you to combine your visit with other sightseeing plans. While driving in the city centre can be challenging, there are some parking facilities in the vicinity, but using public transport is highly recommended to avoid traffic congestion and parking fees. The museum's strategic location ensures that a visit can be seamlessly integrated into your daily commute or weekend plans, making it an ideal choice for an impromptu educational outing for you and your family.

While Muzium Telekom maintains a very reasonable entry fee, making it accessible to most, they also offer specific promotions to enhance the experience, particularly for local residents and students. As highlighted by a customer review, Malaysian students are eligible for a discounted entry fee. To avail of this, students will need to show valid proof of their student status, such as a student ID card, at the ticket counter. It’s always advisable for other groups, such as senior citizens or large families, to inquire at the counter if any other special rates are applicable at the time of their visit, as museum policies can sometimes include unadvertised discounts or group rates. However, please be aware that credit card payments are currently not accepted for the entry fee, so it's essential to bring cash for your admission. While the main exhibition floor has an entry fee, a separate, perhaps temporary, exhibition on a different floor may not be free, so it's good to clarify this when purchasing your ticket if you intend to visit both. These promotions underscore the museum's commitment to making its valuable educational content available to a wider audience within our community, encouraging more locals to explore and learn about the fascinating history of communication.

Muzium Telekom Reviews
Stumbled across this place when out walking, it’s very inexpensive to enter (you can’t pay by credit card). A particularly interesting museum tracing communications from ancient times to modern times. Many interesting exhibits to see, including a very extensive range of telephones. Quite nostalgic to see the old A and B button pay phones, which I’m just s bout old enough to remember from my youth.
Jan 23, 2025 · Greg TGot a discount for Malaysian students (you’ll need to show proof that you’re a student). Not sure if it’s applicable to others. The price isn’t bad—there’s another exhibition on a different floor, but that one’s not free.
May 13, 2025 · Aliah Natasha (Alaia)We walked through Masjid Jamek area and we stumbled across the Muzium. It was Tuesday and school holiday but not many people visiting. Ticket only RM4 for Malaysian Adult. I love this place, at least need to come once in lifetime. It's like travel back in time. However there's not many display but we still had so much fun. Kudos to team for providing the surau as well. It was clean n well maintained.
