Located in Rampai Business Park, this eatery aims to be your go-to for a flavourful and convenient meal.
In KL, finding a spot that truly captures the essence of classic Malaysian dishes, especially those originating from other states like Ipoh, is always a treat. For us locals navigating KL, accessibility is a key factor when choosing a dining spot. This makes it straightforward to reach from various parts of Kuala Lumpur, including Setapak, Melawati, and other neighbouring areas. While it’s a bustling area, there are typically street parking options available within the business park, though it’s always wise to account for busier times, especially during lunch or dinner rush.

From the LRT station, Restoran Nasi Vanggey is accessible via a short ride on a ride-sharing service or even a pleasant walk, depending on your preference and the weather. There are also bus stops within a few minutes' walk, such as "Rampai Business Park" bus stop. This strategic and accessible location makes Restoran Nasi Vanggey a convenient choice for a quick breakfast, a hearty lunch, or a satisfying late-night meal, making it a practical option for the wider Kuala Lumpur community.

As a well-established local restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Restoran Nasi Vanggey Kuala Lumpur focuses on providing consistent quality and variety through its extensive menu. While they might not run traditional "promotions" in the same way larger chains do, their ongoing value proposition and potentially platform-specific deals act as their main offers. Specific, real-time promotions are dynamic and best confirmed directly with the restaurant or via their online channels.
Here are the types of "offers" you might generally find or benefit from:
- Value-Based Pricing: The restaurant aims to offer a broad selection of dishes at competitive local prices. While some might find certain items expensive (like the RM63 for two pax meal noted in a review, which included multiple dishes), options like their Nasi Kandar sets (e.g., NASI KANDAR VANGGEY SET B for RM12.40) provide a bundled meal at a reasonable price.
- Daily Fresh Dishes: The continuous preparation of a wide array of dishes for Nasi Kandar serves as an implicit "promotion" of variety and freshness, encouraging customers to explore different combinations daily.
- Customization for Taste and Budget: The nature of Nasi Kandar allows customers to control their cost by choosing simpler combinations, effectively tailoring their meal to their budget.
- Online Delivery Platform Promotions: Since Restoran Nasi Vanggey Kuala Lumpur is available on popular food delivery platforms like Foodpanda, they frequently participate in platform-specific promotions. These can include percentage discounts on orders, free delivery, or "buy one get one free" offers during special campaigns run by the delivery services. Checking these apps is often the best way to find current deals.
- Extended Operating Hours as a "Convenience Offer": Being open almost round-the-clock (7:00 AM to 3:00 AM) is a significant convenience for locals, offering a reliable dining option for all meal times, which itself is a valuable service.
To get the most current information on any ongoing promotions or special offers, we highly recommend checking Restoran Nasi Vanggey Kuala Lumpur's listings on food delivery platforms, their social media channels (if available), or simply giving them a call before your visit.

Mar 29, 2025 · Sulia SuhedNot really like nasi ganja ipoh, kuah lack the oomph. Expensive and also the sotong takes a long time - almost 20-30mins and staff was unhelpful abt it.The restaurant is nice and clean, easy to park. Total for two pax: RM 63 (briyani, white rice, bendi, one quarter leg chicken, one fried chicken, salted egg and bendi) with drinks.
May 03, 2025 · nins mootsIf you're a fan of bold, authentic Malaysian flavours, Nasi Vanggey in Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit. Known for its rich heritage and unforgettable taste, this restaurant delivers everything you’d expect from a true nasi kandar experience — and then some.Walking in, the atmosphere is lively yet welcoming. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and comfortably spacious despite the steady stream of customers, especially during lunch hours. Service is fast and efficient, with friendly staff who are always ready to recommend dishes if you're unsure what to pick.Of course, the real star here is the food. Nasi Vanggey is famous for its signature fried chicken — crispy, aromatic, and tender to the bone. It’s perfectly marinated and fried fresh, making every bite a satisfying crunch of flavour. Pair it with a plate of warm rice, a generous splash of their legendary kuah campur (mixed curry gravies), and you’re in for a true culinary delight.Other highlights include the mutton curry, sambal sotong, and telur masin, all of which are rich in taste and cooked to perfection. The gravies are what really set Nasi Vanggey apart — each ladleful adds layers of spice, creaminess, and depth to the dish, creating that iconic “banjir” (flooded) style that fans adore.Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Whether you’re dining in or packing for takeaway, you’ll leave feeling full and satisfied. It's no wonder Nasi Vanggey has a loyal following. In short, Nasi Vanggey Kuala Lumpur is more than just a meal — it’s an experience. If you're craving a hearty, spicy, and truly Malaysian plate of rice, look no further. This is comfort food at its finest.
Jun 09, 2025 · Imkamen CollectionExcellent food!! There are choices of gravy. The taste is very much different from Nasi Kandar but the style is the same. Price probably a bit expensive but worth it... plus the quantity of food given are plenty. Service is ok also.
Jun 25, 2021 · Muhammad Zul'AizatYour friendly neighbourhood mamak. Lots of menus to choose from ranging from varieties of lauk for nasi kandar, goreng-goreng, noodles, roti and western foods. I think the foods here are a bit salty for my taste but saltiness is pretty subjective and depends on each individual's preference. Customer service is A+. They once missed my iced water during an iftar and apologized profusely - I was not mad since I knew they were fasting and tired too. The price is a bit on the up side, but the food quality, customer service and cleanliness & coziness of the restaurant makes up for it.
