While one review mentioned "service too weak" and "very disappointed for the service," indicating an area the restaurant could focus on, the consistent positive feedback on food quality suggests that the culinary experience remains the predominant highlight for its patrons. The "a bit pricey like most other Mamak's restaurants" comment also highlights its positioning within the current market, but doesn't detract from the food's appeal.
Restoran Thaqwa Classic, like many Mamak restaurants in Kuala Lumpur, might not frequently advertise traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the same way larger chain restaurants do. Their appeal often lies in consistent value, fresh preparation, and the convenience of their everyday offerings. However, potential "offers" and value-adds that attract and retain customers often include:
- Consistent Everyday Pricing: While noted as "a bit pricey like most other Mamak's restaurants," the pricing for dishes like roti canai and beverages like teh O ice is generally consistent, allowing locals to budget for their regular meals without unexpected fluctuations. The value is often perceived in the freshness and authenticity of the food.
- Daily Fresh Specials: Many Mamak restaurants offer daily specials that aren't advertised as "promotions" but are essentially fresh-cooked dishes available for a limited time, providing variety and a unique culinary experience.
- Breakfast Combos: Sometimes, during morning hours, they might have informal breakfast combos, offering a set of roti canai and a drink at a slightly bundled price.
- Loyalty Through Quality: The "good food" itself serves as the primary "promotion." Consistent quality encourages repeat visits and builds customer loyalty, which is a key long-term "offer" from the restaurant to its patrons.
- Festive Season Offerings: During major festivals like Deepavali or Hari Raya, they might feature special, traditional dishes for a limited time, offering a taste of home and celebration.
- Efficient Takeaway Service: While not a discount, the convenience of quick and efficient takeaway service for all items, especially during peak hours, is a valuable "offer" for busy individuals.
For any specific limited-time offers or larger group deals, it is always advisable to inquire directly at Restoran Thaqwa Classic during your visit or contact them via their provided phone numbers. Most Mamak restaurants rely on word-of-mouth and visible in-store signage for such occasional specials.

Restoran Thaqwa Classic Reviews
I am not sure whether he can see me or not, I already rise my arm then i wait almost 10minutes another waiter come to serve. Very disappointed for the service too weak.
Jan 09, 2025 · Sepol HunterThe food is good. A bit pricey like most other Mamak's restaurants. Teh O ice will cost you around rm 3.50 in 16oz cup.Roti canai is good come standard with dhal and sambal.
Apr 28, 2025 · Joejoe BinksFirst time trying out this restaurant even though very near to me because so used to the other older mamak restaurants. Saw some nice pics on reviews and decided to order puri but unavailable. So disappointed. Ordered my second choice which was'thosai tisu' but turned out to be a 'roti tisu' instead. There is a difference in the dough and texture and can be seen straight away and yet the waiter confirmed that it was 'thosai tisu'. Ended up i didnt get to eat what I have been craving for. It was a very lovely 'roti tisu' though...very crispy but a little too much sugar and condensed milk. I enjoyed it and the normal roti canai as well. As for the beverage, the frothy teh tarik was not kaw enough for me. Surprisingly, the dishes at the serving counter were almost finished and it was only about 7.30pm. Guess those regulars prefer to order other stuff than rice here. I peeped at other tables...fried maggi mee looked very inviting. Too bad I was full or rather thank god I was full.
Jul 01, 2022 · Leanie TohOrder from delivery apps , received sup ayam taste awful. It's was mark tomyam on apps suddenly came sup ayam . Doesn't match with the picture, and the chicken only have 4-5 slices. Not even big chuck of chicken . With that price for those quality of food . Really upset me .and thr rice was mushy
May 19, 2025 · mr sparkMy favourite for breakfast is their roti canai telur, which is light & fluffy and crispy roti bom kosong without sugar. The other favourite is thosai or dosa, many customers came here as this place serves tasty roti canai and dosa at long hours daily. All other restaurant here only serves roti canai before 11am and after 3.30pm.Their chicken and mutton curries were thick and tasty. But fish curry was a little below my expectation.Serving crew is nice in their red shirt , fast serving the customers and helpful.
