SG Dim Sum Reviews
The variety needs improvement, meat are bouncy, not much fatty pork, price is reasonable for the good quality of food
May 09, 2025 · Soon-Kong YongThis shop is very dishonest in business. They cunningly overcharged us by around 6 plates of dimsum, the bill comes at around Rm 90 per pax. We were shocked and recalculated. Only then calling the boss out the boss hesitantly entertained and settled for us. Telling us their shop has a new ordering system so they made a mistake. The boss even refunded us less around Rm 3 because he simply calculated and said an amount.Dimsum is overpriced. Rm6.50 for each plate of morsel in this small town is mind-blowing except for the pork ribs. Even in KL dimsum price doesn't exceed Rm 6 per plate.Look at the green siew mai skin sticking at the plates, not sure they steam and re steam it everyday. The meat of green siew mai is like fish cake/fish ball, clearly is store bought, no bite & no texture.Har gao was a disaster, it's terribly small, the filling is around a baby size thumb with scattered to no prawn meat. However, the skin is good, which we think they are serving the delicious skin more than the filling, its thick, the entire dumpling is thick 1/3 filling 2/3 skin. Looking at the picture can you see the filling inside?I've heard people say it's one of the best eateries in Jerantut, I really assume it's a joke.
