Subang Parade Introduce
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Subang Jaya, Selangor, Subang Parade holds a special place in the hearts of many locals. As one of the oldest shopping malls in the area, having opened its doors in August 1988, it carries a sense of nostalgia while continuing to serve the community's modern needs. While newer, colossal malls have emerged in the Klang Valley, Subang Parade maintains its unique charm, offering a distinctly calm and comfortable atmosphere that sets it apart. It’s not about overwhelming you with endless choices, but rather providing a curated, convenient, and unhurried shopping experience.
For those living in or around Subang Jaya, Subang Parade has long been a reliable hub for daily essentials, relaxed dining, and family outings. Its design and layout, though from an earlier era, contribute to its visitor-friendly nature, making it easy to navigate and less daunting than some of its sprawling counterparts. This creates an inviting environment, particularly for families with young children or individuals who prefer to avoid the often-chaotic crowds of larger shopping complexes. It’s a place where you can comfortably browse, enjoy a meal, catch a movie, and complete your grocery shopping all under one roof, without the rush.
Subang Parade’s enduring appeal lies in its foundational role within the community. It has adapted over the decades, retaining key anchor tenants and continually refreshing its offerings to stay relevant. Despite its age, it remains a pillar for retail and lifestyle in Subang Jaya, reflecting the evolution of local preferences while holding true to its character as a welcoming neighborhood mall. This balance of tradition and gradual modernization ensures it remains a suitable and cherished destination for a wide demographic of Selangor residents.
Subang Parade boasts a highly strategic and accessible location at Lot A, Basement 5, Jalan SS16/1, Ss 16, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Its position just off the Malaysian Federal Highway makes it incredibly convenient for those travelling by car from various parts of Selangor and beyond. The ease of highway access means that reaching the mall is generally straightforward, reducing travel time and hassle for many visitors.
Parking at Subang Parade is available, including basement options. While outdoor parking can sometimes be challenging during peak hours, particularly for larger vehicles like pickup trucks, the mall does offer valet parking for added convenience, albeit at a fee (RM12 as per recent reviews). Standard parking rates are typically around RM2.20 for the first hour and RM1.10 for every subsequent hour, with penalties for lost tickets or clamping.
What truly sets Subang Parade apart in terms of accessibility is its excellent connectivity to public transportation. It is within comfortable walking distance to the Subang Jaya LRT Station (KJ28), which is part of the Kelana Jaya Line. This station also serves as an interchange with the KTM Komuter (Port Klang Line), making Subang Parade a highly desirable destination for those who prefer to travel via public transport. This seamless integration with both LRT and KTM networks significantly broadens its reach, allowing residents from various parts of the Klang Valley to visit without the need for a car. Furthermore, local bus routes, including Rapid KL and Bas Selangorku, have hubs near the station, providing additional feeder services to the surrounding areas of Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, and Petaling Jaya. This multimodal accessibility makes Subang Parade an incredibly convenient choice for a wide spectrum of Selangor's populace, from students to working professionals and families.

Jun 01, 2025 · Wan Muhammad Firdaus MuhammedVisited this mall on 18.12.24, after many years. Used to come here often during my younger days. Back then this was THE go-to place for many folks living in the Klang Valley area. Sad to see it like this now. Many shops have closed down. Half-dead, holding on to dear life because of the supermarket (Village Grocer), the cinema (GSC), Parkson and the numerous restaurants. Toilets were dirty af. Valet parking was RM12 - No choice because normal outdoor parking always full & basement parking bloody dark + cannot fit large pickup truck.
Dec 28, 2024 · Timothy John JindiThis mall was probably every family's go-to mall back in the 80s. Was transported back into my childhood stepping into this mall after so long. There used the be a Grandy's where we occasionally have family dinners. The place hasn't changed much. It still has those connecting slope bridges between the 2 sides of the mall. Checked out the cny clothes at Parkson. Quite impressed that it's pretty well-stocked with many pretty clothes. There's a Flyproject studio where you can come for pilates. A Village Grocer to do your grocery shopping. Toilet was clean.
May 30, 2025 · Yeong YoongYou still have to wait although you take appointment thru app. They give priority to walkin customer. They charge 5% but they will transfer money to account only after 3 days. Better change at bank with coin deposit machine. On the spot cash.
May 14, 2025 · Keshap SuriaPosted 21st May 2024Mall was built in 1988 and has been refurbished quite a long while back. Maintenance is good, and the toilets are well maintained. Shops and eateries are a mixture. A supermarket and a department store are the anchor tenants. There is also a cinema as well. Shops and eateries are mostly located at the lower ground and ground floors. Upper levels are quite empty. Ample parking is available, and entry is cashless. Charges are average. It was not crowded and easy to walk around.
