Features / Highlights
When considering Wrap Restaurant at The Scott Garden, several features and highlights can be gleaned from available information and customer feedback:
Focus on Wraps and Kebab: As its name suggests, Wrap Restaurant likely places a strong emphasis on wraps, particularly those featuring Middle Eastern-style meats like beef shawarma and lamb kebab. This focus can be a highlight for those specifically craving these types of convenient, handheld meals.
Accessibility at The Scott Garden: Located within a prominent complex on Old Klang Road, the restaurant benefits from its position in a well-trafficked area with readily available parking. This makes it an easy stop for those in the vicinity.

Casual Dining Environment: The restaurant appears to offer a straightforward, no-frills dining experience suitable for quick meals. This casual approach can appeal to those looking for a simple, fuss-free meal.
However, based on public reviews, it's important to note some areas that customers have highlighted as needing improvement:
Menu Variety: Some customers have noted the menu is limited, suggesting a narrower range of options compared to other Middle Eastern restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. This might be a consideration for those seeking a more extensive culinary exploration.
Flavour Profile: Feedback indicates that certain dishes, such as Mandi rice and kebabs, have been described as "bland and boring" or not meeting expectations for authentic Middle Eastern flavours, particularly concerning the distinct taste of meats like beef shawarma which some found to resemble lamb. This suggests inconsistency in flavour execution.
Portion and Accoutrements: There have been comments about the portion size of sides and sauces, with customers wishing for more generous servings of sauce to accompany kebabs and the inclusion of common Middle Eastern accompaniments like salad or yoghurt.
Atmosphere of The Scott Garden: Some reviews mention that the overall commercial area of The Scott Garden can feel "dead" or have many empty shops, which might impact the immediate ambiance around the restaurant, although this is not a direct reflection of the restaurant itself.
Pricing: Customers have expressed that the pricing is "not cheap" relative to the perceived value and portion sizes provided.
These points collectively paint a picture of a restaurant that offers essential Middle Eastern wrap and rice dishes but may have room to enhance its flavour authenticity, menu breadth, and value proposition to fully satisfy diverse local palates.

Wrap Restaurant | Scott Garden Reviews
The first thing you will notice is the place is dead. Most of the shops are empty. We came here after reading review about this place from Google review. We ordered lamb kebab wraps and Mandi rice. In my opinion, their kebab and Mandi rice were a bit bland and boring. I didn’t really enjoy the rice in particular because it was just 2 small strands of lamb kebab, rice and small portion of sauce. Wished they had given more sauce to go with the kebab. No salad or yoghurt. Compared to my experience at other Middle Eastern restaurants in the city, this restaurant has to improve a lot. The menu is limited and pricing is not cheap.
Mar 16, 2025 · Margaret WongI placed an order through Grab and chose the beef shawarma from the menu. Unfortunately, the taste did not meet my expectations. Instead of the distinct flavor of beef, the shawarma had a taste and aroma more reminiscent of lamb. The strong lamb-like smell was quite overpowering and detracted from the overall dining experience. I believe there may have been an issue with either the preparation or the ingredients used. This was quite disappointing as I was expecting an authentic beef shawarma.
Jan 08, 2025 · Rizan BuharyWe found some incredibly delightful Middle Eastern cuisine here. My friend and I ordered the Shawarma Chicken Rice and Kebab Lamb Rice. The rice was beautifully seasoned, and the marinated meat was grilled to perfection. The portions were generous and definitely worth it! We also tried the Banana Mania, which was delicious. Additionally, the restaurant graciously offered us a complimentary snack, which made us feel very welcomed! They even provided extra plates and cups for sharing when they saw the two of us, which was thoughtful. I highly recommend everyone to come here and try the authentic and delicious Middle Eastern dishes!
Apr 09, 2024 · 萱茵The food here is delicious as it’s prepared by people who know their craft. I’ve been here 3 times already and the food has been consistent so far. I especially like their lamb and beef shawarma and hummus (they have the best tasting hummus I’ve ever had!), most importantly, all the ingredients they’ve used are fresh and you can really customize your food to your preference. They also have condiments available when you dine in (hot sauce, bbq sauce, flavored olive oil, etc). Also, the rice bowl with mandi rice and assorted toppings of your choice tastes amazing! It’s a great place to eat and chill with friends and family. 🙂
Nov 18, 2023 · Serena ChongQuality of food and the portions are lovely. Downside is the location in a dead mall and no AC only fans. Price is cheaper than damascus and also portions are bigger so as a take away place is decent but not to dine in.
