Asam Pedas Paskal Reviews
I recently visited Asam Pedas Paskal during Ramadan month around 8 PM to break my fast. While I was initially disappointed that the Asam Pedas Daging Tetel and Pari was unavailable and the fish options were limited, I decided to try the Asam Pedas Ikan Merah set, priced at RM25. Served hot in a claypot, the gravy had a delightful balance, not too watery and mildly spicy, making it suitable for children. The red snapper was fresh with tender white flesh, complemented by the inclusion of okra. The meal also came with rice, ulam and salted egg, adding a salty savory element that balanced the spicy and sour flavors. The outdoor seating provided a cozy and relaxed dining atmosphere. My meal arrived promptly within 10-15 minutes, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I do wish the meal had been served with sambal belacan, which would have made it perfect for spicy lovers. I look forward to returning to try the Asam Pedas Daging Tetel.
