It's a testament to Kuala Lumpur's commitment to preserving green spaces for its residents, providing an invaluable resource for physical and mental well-being.
Bukit Kiara Trail - Sri Hartamas is conveniently located within the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, making it highly accessible for residents across the city. Its primary address is Bukit Kiara Trail, Bukit Kiara, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This strategic location places it nestled between well-known areas such as Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI) and Mont Kiara, making it a central green lung for numerous surrounding neighbourhoods.
For those driving, parking is available, particularly along Changkat Abang Haji Openg, which serves as a popular starting point. However, it's worth noting that parking spaces can become quite limited, especially during peak hours on weekends and public holidays, so arriving early is always advisable. Another common entry point is near Kiaramas Ayuria Condominium.
Public transportation also offers viable options for reaching Bukit Kiara. The TTDI MRT station is the closest MRT stop. From there, a relatively short Grab ride or a longer walk will take you to one of the main entrances, such as the one at Changkat Abang Haji Openg. Several bus lines, including T818 and T852, also service the area, providing further connectivity for public transport users. This ease of access by various modes of transport is a significant advantage, allowing many city dwellers to enjoy the trails without the need for a private vehicle. As a public park and hiking area, Bukit Kiara Trail - Sri Hartamas generally does not have ongoing commercial promotions or special offers in the traditional sense, as access to the trails is free of charge for all visitors. The primary "offer" is the invaluable access to a natural, well-maintained green space within the city.
However, the area occasionally hosts or serves as the venue for various community events and organized activities. These can include:
- Charity Runs and Ultra Challenges: Events like the "Bukit Kiara Ultra Challenge" have utilized the extensive trail network, offering timed races with registration fees that often vary based on early bird discounts. These are usually organised by external groups, not the park itself.
- Guided Hikes or Nature Walks: Local nature groups or community initiatives might organize guided walks or 'forest bathing' sessions, sometimes with a small fee or on a volunteer basis. These are typically announced through community channels or social media pages dedicated to outdoor activities in Kuala Lumpur.
- Community Clean-up Drives: While not a promotion, these events offer an opportunity for the public to contribute to the upkeep of the park and connect with like-minded individuals.

Apr 27, 2024 · Yudita HerwijayantiVery good hiking trails , also extensively used by mountain bikers. Be aware when you hike or walk around and look out esp when bikers are descending down a slope. Overall the trails are great for hiking for all levels of hiking. Use a proper hiking app to find your way around or simply ask other hikers. Many of them are very helpful and will be happy to show you the way.It is better to come on weekdays when there is less crowd.
