Cherandong Waterfall Trailhead Reviews
22 Jan 2023: The infamous layers of waterfall is still closed, but you can take pictures from farThe path to the higher waterfall is covered with bamboo trees. We managed to play and enjoy the waterfall a bit but got out asap because we got attacked by leeches. Probably because of the monsoon season.Easy hike and not that steep. Entrance fee is RM2. No food stalls and shops here, so be prepared.
Jan 22, 2023 · Keisya PHere only start of cherandong waterfall and dam. About 2-3km driving through palm oil estate and can park near bigger camping site along river. If you love your car, you might consider to walk 45min from here to the camping site. Camping site Rm40/day. Then walk 5min to faruq waterfall n camp site to pay rm2 per pax for entrance. Walk another 10-15min to dam. If you driving four wheel no problem to drive until u see the dam signboard. I gv 4/5 coz really no clear signboard here.
Apr 10, 2022 · ST YongThe place is nice but if you’re looking for challenging jungle trekking this isn’t for you. It’s an Ok trek, the trails is already layout the path so it isn’t too challenging just walk straight ahead you can’t get lost. And as for the waterfall it isn’t too big and quite a lot of people want to take photos of the Cherandong site. There are other waterfalls which is smaller but not many people go because it’s small I guess. Overall great experience if you’re with a group of friends which makes the overall journey fun than alone
Oct 26, 2021 · Jason TeowCherandong Waterfall Trailhead -Locality at Jalan Kampung Buluh Telur, a Temuan Village (native people) in Kuala Kubu Bharu, District of Hulu Selangor, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. It's a secluded waterfall and the old dam where the clear water from the mountain meets with Selangor River. Need to pay RM 2 to enter, before walk/hike along the Sungai Selangor from the check point at the foot of Bukit Kutu @ Gunung Kutu (1053 m above sea level). There're several cascades along the flowing river with 3 riverside camping site. The hike through a forest trail with a few parts along the top of slippery rocks and boulders. It will take about 45 minutes ++ /4 km (one way) towards the waterfall/the old dam.The emerald waters around are inviting and there's a small sandy bank form which you can take a dip. Cherandong Waterfall remain prestine, relatively discovery amongst the hiking and rapidly gaining interest, it's photogenic and easy to reach.Take caution when bathing at the waterfall/cascade, some area are deep and the sudden accident can be happen ... 🙄 🤗
