Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL is strategically located at A18-20, East, Berjaya Times Square, 1, Jln Imbi, Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This address places the lodging in an exceptionally prime position, directly within one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic and bustling landmarks.
The most significant advantage of this location is its direct integration with Berjaya Times Square. This means guests have immediate and unparalleled access to a colossal shopping mall, which houses an extensive range of retail outlets, diverse dining options from casual eateries to various restaurants, and comprehensive entertainment facilities, including a cinema and a popular indoor theme park. For those living in Kuala Lumpur or visiting from other states, the sheer convenience of having everything within arm's reach, literally steps away from your lodging, is a major draw. You can seamlessly transition from relaxation in your suite to urban exploration, dining, or shopping without ever needing to step outside the complex, if you choose not to.
The surrounding area, Bukit Bintang, is widely recognized as Kuala Lumpur's premier shopping, dining, and entertainment district. From Eastern Suites, guests are within comfortable walking distance of other major shopping destinations such as Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Lot 10, Fahrenheit88, and Starhill Gallery. Public transportation connectivity is outstanding. The lodging is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the Imbi Monorail station. This station provides direct and convenient access to various key areas across Kuala Lumpur, allowing guests to effortlessly connect to other LRT and MRT lines. This superb public transport network makes it incredibly simple to explore popular destinations such as KLCC (Petronas Twin Towers), Chinatown, and Central Market, without the need to navigate city traffic or incur high taxi fares. For locals, this ease of mobility is a significant advantage, promoting stress-free exploration of their own city.
For those driving, while Kuala Lumpur city centre traffic can be challenging, Berjaya Times Square itself offers extensive parking facilities. Guests should, however, inquire directly with Eastern Suites management regarding specific parking arrangements and any associated costs, as these can vary for privately managed units. The central location also provides relatively good access to major roadways, facilitating travel to and from other parts of Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas in Selangor.
In summary, the location of Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL offers an unmatched level of convenience and connectivity, making it a highly desirable base for experiencing the dynamic energy and attractions of Kuala Lumpur's urban landscape.

Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL operates as privately managed units within the Berjaya Times Square tower. As such, the services offered are typically aligned with a serviced apartment model, providing self-contained accommodation. However, it is crucial to address the significant concerns raised by past customers regarding the actual state of the rooms and the management. Generally, guests might expect the following from a serviced apartment:
Private Apartment Units: These units typically offer more space than standard hotel rooms, often featuring separate living areas and bedrooms, designed for a more independent stay.
Basic Kitchen Facilities: Units commonly include a kitchenette that may contain a refrigerator and microwave, allowing guests to prepare simple meals and store food.
Air Conditioning: All units would be expected to have air conditioning to ensure comfort in Kuala Lumpur's tropical climate.
Private Bathroom: Each apartment unit typically includes its own private bathroom.
Linen and Towels: Fresh bed linens and towels are generally provided for guest use.
However, it is absolutely imperative to highlight the severe and concerning issues raised by actual customers, as these directly impact the quality of services and the overall guest experience:
Unclean Rooms and Poor Hygiene: A significant concern is that "The room was dirty." Another guest encountered "VERY used mattress all over the floor, yk those mold blackish kinda mattress? just NOPE." This indicates a severe lack of cleanliness and hygiene, which is a fundamental expectation for any lodging.
Terrible Odor: Guests reported that "The bed linen and cushion pillow got a terrible smell." This directly impacts comfort and the overall pleasantness of the stay.
Maintenance Issues: A review specifically mentioned that the "Toilet door cannot properly lock." This points to a lack of basic maintenance and can be a significant inconvenience and privacy concern.
Management Issues and Allegations of Illegal Operation: A critical piece of feedback states that the lodging is "not under Berjaya Hotel management instead it was managed by a bunch of Bangladesh illegally." This raises serious questions about the legitimacy of the operation and the standards of management. This could impact guest recourse in case of issues.
Booking Unavailability and Upselling Tactics: A particularly alarming review detailed a situation where, despite booking through a platform, upon check-in, the "room is not available." Subsequently, guests were offered an "upgrade but need to pay extra (double price btw)." This suggests deceptive practices and attempts to upsell, which is highly unprofessional and creates immediate dissatisfaction. The guest also mentioned seeing multiple "rooms looks like someone was living there," with "VERY used mattress all over the floor" when trying to survey available rooms.
"AVOID" Recommendation: The strong and direct recommendation to "AVOID" the place, with a mention of a previous negative review being removed, indicates a persistent pattern of severe dissatisfaction and potential suppression of critical feedback.
Given these severe and recurring issues, potential guests are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution. The described service failures, hygiene problems, and management concerns are highly significant and directly contradict fundamental expectations for acceptable lodging.

Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL, despite its operational challenges, possesses one undeniable highlight primarily due to its strategic location. However, it is crucial to balance this with very significant and pervasive negative features reported by past guests.
Unbeatable Central Location within Berjaya Times Square: This is unequivocally the strongest and most appealing feature. Being located directly within the iconic Berjaya Times Square provides guests with immediate and unparalleled access to extensive shopping, a wide array of dining options, a cinema, and the popular indoor theme park. For locals looking for a stay that combines accommodation with entertainment and retail therapy, this direct connectivity is a major advantage, placing them right at the heart of Kuala Lumpur's vibrant urban life.
Proximity to Public Transportation: The lodging's address on Jalan Imbi means it's within easy walking distance of the Imbi Monorail station. This offers excellent connectivity to various parts of Kuala Lumpur via the public transport network, allowing guests to explore other popular areas like Bukit Bintang, KLCC, and Chinatown efficiently and affordably, without needing a car.
However, it is absolutely paramount to transparently highlight the severe and concerning negative features reported by actual customers, as these significantly impact the overall guest experience and represent substantial drawbacks:
Severe Cleanliness and Hygiene Issues: Multiple reviews vehemently describe the rooms as "dirty," with "terrible smell" on "bed linen and cushion pillow." The presence of "VERY used mattress all over the floor, yk those mold blackish kinda mattress?" paints a picture of extremely poor hygiene and unacceptable living conditions. This is a fundamental failure for any lodging and directly contradicts basic guest expectations.
Maintenance Deficiencies: A specific concern raised is that the "Toilet door cannot properly lock." This points to a lack of basic upkeep and can lead to significant inconvenience and privacy issues for guests.
Questionable Management Practices: Very serious allegations are made regarding the management, stating it is "managed by a bunch of Bangladesh illegally." This raises profound concerns about the legitimacy, professionalism, and accountability of the operators, potentially affecting guest safety and recourse in case of issues.
Deceptive Booking Practices and Upselling: A highly alarming report details that despite a booking, the "room is not available" upon check-in, followed by an attempt to "upgrade but need to pay extra (double price btw)." This indicates a potentially fraudulent booking system and unethical upselling tactics, causing immense frustration and disruption for arriving guests.
Unacceptable Room Conditions upon Inspection: When guests were shown "available" rooms, they found them looking "like someone was living there," with "VERY used mattress all over the floor" and "mold blackish kinda mattress." This suggests that the rooms are not properly prepared or maintained for incoming guests, or that the property is being used in an inappropriate manner.
Strong "AVOID" Recommendation: The explicit and emphasized advice to "AVOID" this lodging, coupled with a mention of a previous negative review being removed, serves as a powerful warning from past frustrated customers.
While the location is undoubtedly excellent, the extensive and severe issues related to cleanliness, maintenance, management ethics, and booking reliability as consistently reported by multiple guests, present overwhelming drawbacks. These concerns render the "features" of its location almost negligible against the fundamental failures in providing a safe, clean, and professional lodging experience.

For residents of Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur seeking lodging within their own vibrant city, Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL presents a deeply concerning picture. While its location is undeniably prime, the overwhelming negative feedback from multiple past guests severely compromises its suitability for any traveler, especially locals who expect a certain standard of comfort, transparency, and safety.
The sole and compelling argument for considering this lodging lies in its strategic address. Being directly integrated within the iconic Berjaya Times Square offers unparalleled immediate access to a massive shopping mall, diverse dining, and endless entertainment. For a family staycation focused purely on retail therapy or urban exploration via public transport (Imbi Monorail station is nearby), the location itself is superb. This allows locals to immerse themselves in KL's city life without the hassle of long commutes.
However, this singular advantage is overshadowed by a multitude of severe and recurring issues detailed in customer reviews. Reports of "dirty" rooms, "terrible smell" on linens, "mold blackish" mattresses, and broken toilet locks indicate a fundamental failure in basic cleanliness and maintenance. These are not minor inconveniences; they directly impact health, comfort, and the overall quality of stay, making the environment unacceptable for most.
Furthermore, the serious allegations of "illegally" managed operations, coupled with deceptive booking practices (room unavailable upon arrival, forced "upgrade" for double price), and the sight of rooms that look like "someone was living there" with "VERY used mattress all over the floor," raise profound questions about the legitimacy, professionalism, and ethical conduct of the management. Such experiences lead to immediate frustration, disappointment, and a strong sense of being exploited. The explicit "AVOID" recommendation from past guests serves as a powerful warning.
In conclusion, while the location of Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL is indeed excellent, the pervasive and severe issues related to hygiene, maintenance, and, most critically, management practices and honesty, render it highly unsuitable for locals. The risks associated with potential disappointment, discomfort, and even concerns about the legitimacy of the operation far outweigh the benefits of its central address. Locals seeking a reliable, clean, and professional lodging experience in Kuala Lumpur should strongly consider alternative options that offer verified standards of quality and trustworthy service.

Eastern Suites @ Times Square KL Reviews
Located in the Berjaya Times Square Hotel east tower but it's not under Berjaya Hotel management instead it was managed by a bunch of Bangladesh illegally. The room was dirty. Toilet door cannot properly lock. The bed linen and cushion pillow got a terrible smell. Not worth every single penny
Nov 26, 2023 · Aimi MazlanAVOIDI've reviewed before but seems like it got removed.book through booking but when want to checkin, "room is not available" "can upgrade but need to pay extra (double price btw)". We also come up to survey which room available with the bangladeshi guy, annddd the roomsss (we went inside to about 3 room) looks like someone was living there, few VERY used mattress all over the floor, yk those mold blackish kinda mattress? just NOPE
Dec 20, 2023 · Aimi JaafarStay for 2 night here. The hotel is part of Berjaya Hotel but not managed by them I think. Berjaya Hotel lobby located in West tower, this one on East managed by various companies I think. For this one the PIC mostly Bangladeshis. They are friendly feel free to ask anything. Just go to the west gate and wait for the PIC to come down and give your room card. RM200 depo for 2 room card. RM30 for 1 day park under time square mall (rate same as TRX lol). But cheaper one just around the hotel no worry. The one I park is RM7 per entry (max 24hrs) or you can choose others (RM0.60/h or 4.50/day) but need to walk around 3 minute. Other amenities like pool/gym are shared with Berjaya Hotel. Every place need to be accessed with your room card. For pool you can wear any type of clothing. Gym only sport shoe allowed. Book 3 month early to get half price (maybe). It was a good stay. Most review you found in the internet might scares you (including me because I book without surveying at first) but now I beg to differ. A "family suite king bed 2 bedroom" comes with 4 bed. 1 king and 3 single bed. The view is beautiful. Can see TRX and KLCC from your bed. Aircon working normally, very cool at 18C. Cleanliness is quite good, only the floor feel little soapy when your foot is wet. 2 night for 450 is worth it (booked early). This room is big like apartment. Recommended if you travel in group of 5 or with family
Dec 04, 2023 · Syafiq RahimDecor are from the 90’s era. Liveable condition two bedder service suite on the highest floor below the penthouse. Just a few equipments are not working - laundry washer and dryer, tv in the common bedroom. Wifi connection is weak once you get in the bedroom. The maintenance team rectified the water heater issue within an hour. If you’re looking for a long term stay, please do consider other apartments nearby.
