EMP KL Reviews
My Dinner with family during weekend. This is Hidden in the EMP Royal Court Chinese Restaurant at Westin Hotel, the decoration of the court style is magnificent! Their kitchen is open style , can see the chefs cooking, just opposite the Pavilion. We enjoy the scenery while eating. I recommend their home's Golden Flower Gum Dried Chicken Soup and Black Truffle Seafood Fried Rice. The aroma is strong, and the taste is rich and delicious.
Mar 16, 2025 · Ken Lim kee hengNice environment and very chill when dining in, and a great view too.The dim sum buffet Rm 98+ bring 3 get 1 free quite a good deal. The photos are without add on, and all dishes are really good , except the dessert (banana that one, fancy name but taste so so) 😑Highly recommend prawn dumpling as the prawn 🦐 really fresh. The unagi &prawn dumpling is really good too. 💯💯💯As per experience, I suggest you can order 3 plates for each as steaming also takes time, even the workers will keep reminding you , but you can choose not to listen 😆 as long as you know your stomach volume 😆Second recommendation - beancurd prawn roll , also please order 3 plates at least as frying also takes time 😋😋 Truffle mushroom Yam puff also really good can order 2 plates . Turnip cake with dried shrimp also very good (but no spicy) - suggest to try ask can add spicy or not 😜The congee can try, suggest to talk dried scallop and shredded chicken, even not really taste scallop but the overall taste really good 👍 👍 👍Recommend for dessert - phoenix duo chilled sea coconut taste super good 👍 👍 💯💯Can try - Fish paste, noodle, golden ball , chicken bunJust the parking very expensive, first hour rm 8 😔😔😔
Apr 02, 2025 · JingLan HueUnderwhelming Experience at a Five-Star Hotel Dim Sum BuffetI recently visited Westin hotel ‘s dim sum buffet, at EMP KL lured in by its beautiful food presentation and rave reviews online. While the food was visually stunning and overall of high quality, there were some disappointments that really stood out.First, the signature eel and shrimp dumplings we had been so excited to try weren’t available. These dishes were heavily promoted in their ads and social media, which made their absence all the more frustrating.Second, we asked if the kitchen could prepare a small birthday cake or even a special dessert to celebrate a child’s birthday, which seemed like a reasonable request at a five-star establishment. To our surprise, they couldn’t accommodate this, which was disappointing considering the level of service you’d expect from a luxury hotel. While the buffet itself was enjoyable and the setting was elegant, these issues left us feeling like the experience fell short of five-star standards. For the price and reputation, I expected more flexibility and attention to customer needs.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐/5
Mar 23, 2025 · Jasper GanA friend recommended this place for their dim sum, but we went for dinner, and dim sum was not available. The highlights for me were the roasted duck, truffle fried rice, and claypot spinach with egg. However, portion sizes were on the small side, and we need to order double portions for some of the dishes. Some dishes were disappointing, especially the Fruity Yee Sang. The name caught our attention, but there were no visible fruits, just an ordinary yee sang made with mostly low-cost ingredients and very little fresh elements.Service was another weak point, as the crew seemed raw and not well-trained.Would still like to come back and try their dim sum someday.
Feb 14, 2025 · Leh PingRM 1088++ for 6 pax CNY Menu. Your own judgement if these worth RM 1088++.Service: no clean up and had to keep remind the waiter to change the plate for us. They expect us to use the same plate and bowl for the 7 dishes.Weirdest thing, the waiter ask us who should he bring the bill to during the payment later on. Why?? What the purpose when anyone of us can pay.Foods: are we having the dinner at those Chinese kampungs restaurant at the normal day? From the foods taste to food displays, everything are so wrong.- The fish doesn’t look appetite & over steam.- The prawns not fresh as the shell stick to the skin- Abalone’s serve with romaine?- Glutinous rice and fried nian gao is tasteless & the display…doesn’t look appealing..Conclusion: doesn’t worth the money and don’t bother to try. Never expect this from the 5 star hotel in KL.
