A surau upgraded into a mosque within Taman Kobena and Shamelin Perkasa area.I came to this mosque for Subuh prayer. The mosque is located near Pudu Ulu Recreation Park. Hence, it is better to come here first for Subuh prayer before you start your jogging. The most obvious landmark design of the mosque is the simple arch. The car park is considered spacious. There are also some limited covered car parks.Imarah mosque is a concern since the mosque is located within non Muslim majority area. Hence it is difficult to get congregation mass to come to the mosque particularly during working hours or Subuh. The mosque is considered clean and well maintained although the building is not a proper full mosque building as planned mosques.Kudos to the administration. - Azmi Mahamad

Masjid As-Sodiqin, nestled in Taman Kobena, stands as a testament to the dedication and spirit of its congregation. What began as a humble surau has blossomed into a full-fledged mosque, catering to the spiritual and communal needs of its surrounding neighbourhoods. Its warmth and utility are often highlighted by visitors, who commend its "very helpful & useful" services and the "friendly jemaah" that makes everyone feel welcome. Indeed, the consistent praise for its "Good & excellent services" speaks volumes about the commitment of its administration and the positive impact it has on the local residents.

Masjid As-Sodiqin represents a significant milestone in the development of the Islamic infrastructure within Taman Kobena and the broader Shamelin Perkasa vicinity. The journey from a surau to a mosque signifies its growing importance and the increasing demand for its facilities from the local Muslim population. This evolution means it can now host the crucial Friday congregational prayers, fulfilling a fundamental religious obligation for many who previously might have had to travel further. Its strategic location, close to the popular Pudu Ulu Recreation Park, makes it an ideal stop for those seeking spiritual reflection before engaging in leisurely activities. As one local user aptly noted, "it is better to come here first for Subuh prayer before you start your jogging," perfectly illustrating how the mosque integrates into the daily routines of its congregants, becoming a natural part of their lives.

While Masjid As-Sodiqin might not boast the grandeur of some of Kuala Lumpur's more iconic mosques, its charm lies in its practicality and welcoming atmosphere. The reviews emphasize its cleanliness and how well-maintained it is, a direct reflection of the care and effort put in by the administration and the community. Its "simple arch" design, though unpretentious, signifies an accessible and inclusive space for all. The "spacious" car park, including "limited covered car parks," addresses a practical need in a bustling urban environment, making it convenient for attendees. The mention of "Imarah mosque is a concern since the mosque is located within non Muslim majority area" highlights a unique challenge that the administration commendably addresses, focusing on efforts to attract and retain congregation members even during working hours or for early morning prayers like Subuh. This continuous dedication to fostering an active congregation, as evidenced by the "Full of Ihya' Ramadan Programme to attend," truly underscores the mosque's vibrant and essential role in the Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur community.
