Masjid Kampung Bukit Badong

4.0
Alhamdulillah, I have completed my second Subuh prayer in Kampung Bukit Badong, during the Hari Raya Aidiladha holidays. Although I’m not celebrating the festival here, the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the village truly brings calm to the soul. Masjid Ar-Rahman, where I’ve been performing congregational prayers since my arrival, is spacious, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It features thick, new carpets and a modern air conditioning system, offering a pleasant environment especially during night and early morning prayers.Since I arrived on Wednesday, I’ve had the opportunity to join the local congregation for Asar, Maghrib, and Isyak prayers. What touched me most was the warm and welcoming spirit of the community. Even as an outsider, I felt fully accepted and at ease among the congregation. However, this morning came with a slightly somber tone as we received news of the passing of a resident from the Bukit Badong community. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. It was informed that the burial will take place early this morning. May Allah grant the deceased His mercy and place them among the righteous. This news is a gentle reminder of life’s impermanence and the importance of continuously improving ourselves, strengthening our relationship with Allah, and maintaining good ties with others. - Muhammad Faizal Razali
