OYO 431 Hotel De Grand Orchard Introduce
Salam sejahtera, warga Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur! Whenever we plan a staycation or need a convenient spot in the heart of our bustling city, finding the right hotel can sometimes be a challenge. We look for places that offer accessibility, a good balance of comfort, and perhaps most importantly, a familiar environment. Today, we're taking a closer look at OYO 431 Hotel De Grand Orchard, located right in the City Centre of Kuala Lumpur. This article aims to provide a clear and factual overview from a local perspective, helping you decide if this hotel meets your needs for a stay in KL.
OYO 431 Hotel De Grand Orchard is positioned as a budget-friendly hotel, catering to travelers seeking an affordable base in a central location. It operates under the OYO brand, known for its standardized yet economical accommodations. For locals, this hotel might serve as a practical option for short stays, quick business trips, or as a temporary base when exploring the city’s myriad attractions. While the hotel aims to offer essential comforts, it's important to set expectations, as budget accommodations often prioritize functionality over luxurious amenities. It’s the kind of place that could be a convenient landing spot if you're primarily going to be out and about, exploring KL's vibrant offerings, and just need a place to rest your head at night. The focus here is on providing basic necessities within a prime location, making it a functional choice for those who are highly familiar with the city and its surroundings.
One of the strongest points of OYO 431 Hotel De Grand Orchard is its undeniably central location. You'll find it at 81C, Jalan Medan Bunus, City Centre, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This puts it squarely in the heart of KL, making it highly accessible to many of our city’s iconic landmarks and transportation hubs. Jalan Medan Bunus is a well-known area for its proximity to commercial activities and local eateries. This means easy access to shopping districts like Bukit Bintang, historical sites, and cultural attractions like Central Market and Merdeka Square. However, as noted by some guests, direct Grab access to the immediate vicinity might sometimes be challenging due to street blockages, so being prepared for a short walk from a drop-off point might be necessary. Parking facilities at the hotel itself are generally not available, which is a common characteristic for many hotels in such a dense urban center, suggesting reliance on public transport or nearby paid parking lots. For local commuters, the strategic placement near LRT stations is certainly a plus, allowing for seamless movement throughout KL.

OYO 431 Hotel De Grand Orchard Reviews

BTW, thank to the hotel staff and OYO CS that help me to get the room.. DONE uninstall OYO apps.. thank you..
Jun 09, 2025 · Haziq Al AttasLobby: First thing that you will notice when entering the hotel is that the lobby is extremely messy, looks nothing like the one in agoda. There are huge parcel-like item on the floor everywhere.Rooms: The rooms that I stayed in, though they're very affordable, it smells like cigarettes smoke and when I informed this to the receptionist, their response was just giving us air freshener which obviously does not help with the smell. Do note that most of the rooms do not have windows. Therefore, there are no proper ventilation, hence, the cigarette smoke smell. Bed bugs problem, eewwww. Let's not talk about toilet. Probably the worst thing that could happen in life is the toilet.Room facilities: Air Conditioner works completely fine. No water heater jug provided but there is a water dispenser that are not very clean provided for each floor. Water heater for bathing is available. Toilet is disgusting, a hell lot of stains and suspicious holes at the ceiling. The TV works fine but not much channel available (as usual). Door is not noise proof, you can hear people from far away outside of the room.Safety: If you're a fan of a random shirtless guy knocking at your door at 2am, you are most welcome to the hotel but if you don't and you care for your safety, please DO NOT stay in this hotel. Me and my friends encounter this traumatic tragedy during our stay.System: If you were to check-in before 2pm, there'll be RM10 charge per hour. For room service, you need to inform the receptionist if you want your room cleaned.Overall interior circulation: The walkway to the room is quite dark even during the day. Lift is quite dangerous, it closes so fast and sometimes are not sensitive to people trying to hold it open. The lift has probably never been serviced for a very long time, the indicators are not functioning well. You wouldn't know where the lift is at while waiting. The buttons are definitely not "GRAND".Accessibility: Do note that there are no 24 hours convenient store or laundry nearby. There are quite a number of mamak nearby if you're interested. Not too far from Masjid Jamek or Bandaraya LRT station but if you were to go out when it's dark, better be alert of your surroundings. There might be people following you. Grab couldn't enter that area, the entrance to the area are often blocked. No proper parking space available.Staff: Generally helpful and friendly but definitely not the best at problem solving. One of the staffs was willing to wait for me and friends to open your room even at 3am (credits to that).General comments: Probably once "DE GRAND ORCHARD" hotel but not well maintained.
Mar 18, 2024 · Ezra ShannerThe hotel was good enough. But there's no any towel provided. The lips that controlling air conditioner's flows were broken.. But at least the air conditioner works well😏. The location was quite strategic since there's a mamak stall nearby the hotel. I've also got trouble for searching the parking lot nearby the hotel. So far so good if you're looking for a place to stay in short term. Ok bai
Dec 16, 2023 · ABANG PECINTA POCONGThis hotel is decent. The room looked old and the sheets had stains. But for the price it is ok.
Sep 09, 2024 · Allen StewartFront desk staff was very helpful. Somewhat located at a strategic area. Very easy to find food! Clean room but it got an unpleasant smell, but still bearable. Except for the smelly garbage plastic in the hallway and the broken toilet's lock, everything's fine.
