However, the existing pricing structure acts as a continuous "special offer" to its patrons in Kuala Lumpur.
Everyday Low Prices: The most significant "offer" is the consistent affordability of its dishes. For example, Kolo Mee (small) at RM7 and Sarawak Laksa (small) at RM9 are considered "crazy affordable" for their quality and portion size, especially within Kuala Lumpur's dining scene.
Generous Portion Sizes: The fact that a "small is huge" for dishes like Laksa is a direct value proposition, ensuring customers feel they get more than their money's worth.
Diverse Choices for One Price: While not a discount, the presence of 6-7+ stalls under one roof offers a "special" kind of flexibility. Groups with varied cravings can all dine together, each choosing their preferred dish, which is a convenience not always found in single-cuisine restaurants.
Authentic Niche Cuisine: The highly praised authentic Sarawakian stall is a "special offer" in itself for those seeking specific regional Malaysian flavors that are not always easy to find at such quality and price in KL.
For any potential seasonal specials or very specific daily deals that a particular stall might run, it's always best to visit Restoran Golden Chopstick directly to check their display boards or inquire with the individual stall operators. 5 stars for the Sarawakian stall that sells kolo Mee and Sarawak laksa.Crazy affordable and authentic. As a Sarawakian student, it was a gem to find this place.Laksa (small) rm9 and the small is hugeKolo Mee (small) rm7The pictures will tell u how much I've been here and how much I adore this place
Jun 02, 2023 · Rikan LibatHas around 6-7+ stalls offering Mixed Rice, Chicken Rice, Wan Tan Mee, Pork Noodle, Lam Mee, Prawn Mee, etc.Atmosphere: 3.25🌟The place is very tight as there's only 1 person lane to walk on both sides of the table which so its kind of hard to walk and order without blocking the path. Tables are also very near each other due to space constraint.Service: 4🌟Service are friendly and good.Food: Wan Tan Mee 3.5🌟- Noodle 3.5🌟, Wan Tan 3.5🌟, Sauce 3.5🌟Take away dry small. Wan Tan is a good size and tastes good too. The texture of the noodles and the flavour of the sauce is also good. Also come with some veggies. Priced at Rm 7.50Food: Pork Noodle 3.25🌟- Broth 3.25🌟, Ingredients 3.5🌟, Noodle 3.5🌟Take away with Add On egg. Had to say the noodle is well cooked compare to most places where the Hor Fun is soft & smooth while the yellow noodle is not too soft. The broth doesn't feels very porky, not sure what is it cooked from. Its a decent soup but lacks a bit of flavor. Ingredients is pork slices which is tender and nice, pork balls and some choy sum. Priced at Rm 9 (without egg is Rm 8)Food: Lam Mee 3.5🌟- Sauce 3.25🌟, Ingredients 3.75🌟, Noodle 3.25🌟Take away. Noodles is pretty standard and the sauce is quite good. Ingredients includes fish cakes and an impressive amount lots of breast meat slices. However its very tough meat but it works well eating with the sauce. Priced at Rm 8
Oct 25, 2024 · Jas Ng (Axijas)Kopi-ping is good. Food is good, if you don't mind having meal at the alley(vehicle passing by) near the drain.
Apr 09, 2022 · Chi-Wei SiawSwk kolo mee lover should come and try out their kolo mee and swk laksa. Definitely recommended! Do note their swk laksa is only available on the weekend on the special menu.
Mar 22, 2021 · soon cjI liked the atmosphere here. The food stalls are selling good food and most of the customers who visited here are the regulars. As the staff also recognised them, thus making the place to have some kind of family feel. I do recommend their coffee and tea, which taste real good.
