Tahan Hide Reviews
Place for night walk. It is included in the package. The place is well maintained and has a lot of insect species like ants, scorpions and snakes. Located just behind Mutiara Tahan resort. It takes 45 - 1 hour to finish the walk depending on weather and species you find. Overall it's a good activity
Jun 22, 2024 · Hafizun MushtafaJust a short, relatively flat walk from the Park Centre. Can climb up the building for a better view.Did not see any animals though but still nice to relax and enjoy the environment
Apr 20, 2024 · Google LumJust about 10mins walk from the Mutiara Resort Reception. Do bring along insect repellant cream or spray. Keep your voice tone down & turn your mobile phone on silent mode for higher chance to see animals at the 'salt lick' while in Tahan Hide. Try to be here early in the morning to see deers. The nearest Mutiara Resort rooms to this Tahan Hide is room number 88, 89, 90, 91 , 92 & 93 just 5 mins walk to reach.
Jun 30, 2023 · bard kaki pulauNearest wooden wildlife elevated observation post with 2 stories that you get to see sambal deers or if lucky more on the natural salt lick meadow in the front, mostly at night time or early morning times.Have been there 3 times, one in the morning and were lucky to feel the rainforest surround you with the dazzling sound of all the elements under starry skies at night time.Definitely recommend joining both tours at night and early morning. There are more of these observation posts but rest are lot further and requires serious hiking and camping.
Apr 23, 2022 · Hamza ArslanIf you lucky, you can see animals from it. It is possible to stay here for an entire night but need to register in Park Center.
