Situated at the foot of Theme Park Hotel, it’s easily accessible for anyone visiting the Resorts World Genting complex. If you're coming by car, there's parking available nearby, though it’s always a good idea to check for any associated fees. For those using public transportation within Genting Highlands, buses heading towards Awana Skyway often have stops within a short walking distance of the garden. While the Talking Garden is primarily a recreational green space, it offers a tranquil environment for various activities. Based on available information, its "services" are more about the amenities and experiences it provides rather than commercial offerings.
Relaxation and Leisure: The garden provides numerous public benches nestled among lush foliage, perfect for unwinding, reading, or simply enjoying the peaceful ambiance.
Scenic Strolls: Well-maintained winding pathways invite visitors for leisurely walks, allowing them to appreciate the carefully designed landscape.
Photography Opportunities: With its vibrant array of flowers, ornamental plants, and gazebos, the garden offers picturesque settings for photography enthusiasts.
Interactive Narration: The name "Talking Garden" comes from an interesting feature where visitors can scan a QR code at the entrance to experience a narration about the garden via their smartphone, adding an educational and engaging dimension to their visit.
Pitcher Plant Nursery: Visitors have the unique opportunity to sponsor the planting of pitcher plants at a dedicated nursery within the garden, contributing to its botanical diversity.
The Talking Garden, though not sprawling, boasts several charming features and highlights that make it a worthwhile stop.
Cool Mountain Climate: One of the biggest draws of Genting Highlands itself, the Talking Garden benefits from the refreshing cool weather, often staying in the 15-25°C range. This provides a welcome respite from the warmer temperatures found in other parts of Malaysia.
Beautiful Views: On a clear day, the garden offers stunning panoramic views overlooking the valley of Genting Highlands, sometimes stretching all the way to Kuala Lumpur. This vista is a particular highlight for many visitors.
Fountain and Gazebos: The presence of a charming fountain and several gazebos adds to the aesthetic appeal and provides comfortable spots for visitors to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Lush Greenery and Floral Displays: The garden is meticulously maintained with a variety of flower bushes and ornamental plants, creating vibrant and colorful displays that change with the seasons.
Small Maze: While some feedback suggests it's a small area, there are mentions of a mini maze which can be an engaging feature, especially for younger visitors.
Free Entry: As a complimentary attraction, the Talking Garden provides a budget-friendly option for entertainment and relaxation in Genting Highlands.
As a free public garden, Talking Garden itself doesn't typically run promotions or special offers in the traditional sense, like discounts on entry tickets. Its primary "offer" is its accessibility and the serene experience it provides at no cost. However, it is located within Resorts World Genting, which frequently has promotions across its hotels, theme parks, and dining establishments. For instance, Resorts World Genting often features:
Hotel Packages: Various hotels within the Resorts World Genting complex, such as Resorts World Awana or Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, offer promotional packages that might include accommodation and theme park tickets. These packages can sometimes indirectly enhance a visit to the Talking Garden by providing a comfortable base nearby.
Theme Park Ticket Deals: Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, located very close by, frequently offers special ticket prices, especially for Malaysian citizens or during specific periods. For example, there have been promotions for Pahang citizens with discounted entry rates.
F&B Credits and Discounts: Promotions sometimes include F&B credits or discounts at dining outlets within the Resorts World Genting area, which could be utilized before or after a visit to the garden.
Genting Rewards Member Benefits: If you are a Genting Rewards member, you might be eligible for various perks across the resort, including dining discounts, special redemptions, or priority services, which could enhance your overall experience in the area.
It’s always recommended to check the official Resorts World Genting website or their social media channels for the most current promotions and offers before planning your trip, as these can change frequently.
For those planning to visit the Talking Garden, here is the essential contact information:
Address: Genting Highlands, 69000 Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia
Phone: As Talking Garden is a public amenity within the larger Resorts World Genting complex, there isn't a direct public phone number specifically for the garden. For general inquiries about the area or Resorts World Genting, you may refer to the main Resorts World Genting contact information, which can usually be found on their official website.

For us locals in Pahang, Talking Garden is truly a gem within Genting Highlands. While Genting is often associated with thrilling theme parks and bustling entertainment, the Talking Garden offers a crucial balance: a tranquil escape. It's a place where we can truly appreciate the natural beauty of our own state, without needing to spend a single ringgit on entry. The cool, crisp air, the soothing views, and the opportunity for a peaceful walk make it an ideal spot for family outings, a quiet date, or simply a moment of solitude away from the crowds. Even with feedback mentioning its smaller size, its accessibility and the calming atmosphere it provides are invaluable. It’s a wonderful reminder that even amidst the excitement, there’s always a corner for quiet reflection and appreciation of nature's simple gifts right here in Pahang.

Talking Garden Reviews
Love dropping by this free garden for the cool weather and beautiful views. Some smokers spoiling the fresh air though- unfortunately, this is common in many places in Malaysia.
May 26, 2025 · Nur Zahirah 'IbadurRahmanThis is not garden, its a backyard. Seriously so small and nothing there at all. The place also not so cold compare to other place.
Jan 22, 2025 · Mi HaI visited this garden in August 2024. It is not easy to find this garden. From the genting sky word, you can go to the genting hotel through connecting bridge. Go out from the hotel, turn left twice, and then turn down the stair. You can enjoy the best view of genting highland in this garden.
Aug 27, 2024 · S HardiyantiThis place is totally secret. To us we refer to it as Secret Garden because to go to this venue requires good navigation and pathways. If you manage to come here you will be able to enjoy the garden settings and views. I do recommend coming during late evening with cold mist and breeze. If you have a good camera, you can test out your skills in lighting with mist.
