Bukit Simpang

QWMF+74, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

4.0
Road up the hill starts just after the Kajang Seremban Highway underpass. There are actually two antenna towers. The lower one is a smaller one and isn't occupied while the one at the top has people manning the station. There is actually hiking trail but I didn't use it, I just went up the hill using a bicycle. There is actually a stingless bee farm third quarter way up but at the moment it seems not to be occupied and the owner is away. I would advice anyone going to the bee farm to respect people's property. Nothing interesting up on this hill other than a paved road up the hill in in the midst of a secondary hill forest with forest birds chirping away. It's better to go in the morning as the atmosphere is better for walking or biking as it is not humid. There's a trail to Bukit Gangis beyond the antenna station if you wish to go there. - Toasty Ovens

It also provides a more stable and less strenuous path, suitable for a wider range of visitors, including those who might prefer not to navigate uneven forest trails.

  • Secondary Hill Forest Environment: The hill is enveloped "in the midst of a secondary hill forest," offering a refreshing natural backdrop. This provides a lush, green environment that is a welcome change from urban landscapes, contributing to a sense of peace and tranquility.

It also emphasizes the natural and possibly agricultural aspects of the surrounding area.
