Chang Noi Thai Stall No. 19 might be a humble street stall, but it boasts several distinctive features and highlights that make it a beloved spot among locals:
- Authentic Thai Flavours: The strongest highlight is its reputation for serving "delicious authentic Thai food." This suggests traditional recipes and cooking methods that deliver genuine Thai tastes, a crucial factor for connoisseurs of the cuisine.
- Solo Chef's Dedication: The fact that "one friendly auntie" or the "lady boss works alone with no helper" is a significant feature. This personal dedication ensures quality control and a unique, homely touch to every dish, creating a more intimate dining experience.
- Comfort Food Focus: Dishes like "pork trotter with braised egg" are highlighted as "nice comfort food," indicating that the stall excels in preparing satisfying, hearty Thai dishes that evoke a sense of warmth and familiarity.
- Reasonable Prices: Customers note that the "price are reasonable," making authentic Thai food accessible and affordable for everyday dining, which is highly appreciated by locals.

- Street Stall Charm: Operating as a street stall adds to its authentic appeal, offering a genuine taste of Malaysian street food culture combined with Thai culinary expertise.
It's important for potential customers to be aware of the following, as noted in reviews:
- Waiting Time: Due to the solo operation, waiting times can be "around 35 minutes," especially during busy periods. This is a trade-off for the freshly prepared, authentic food.
- Last Call Timing: The "last call around 9.30 pm" indicates specific operating hours that customers should note to avoid disappointment.
For a traditional street food stall like Chang Noi Thai Stall No. 19, formal "promotions" or "special offers" in the way larger restaurants or chains operate are generally not common or publicly advertised. Their value proposition typically lies in their already "reasonable price" and the authentic quality of their food.
However, the "promotions" or appealing aspects that draw customers often include:
- Consistent Affordable Pricing: The very nature of a street stall often means competitive and budget-friendly pricing as a standard offering, which acts as a continuous "promotion" for value-conscious diners. Customers have explicitly stated that prices are "reasonable."
- Authenticity and Quality as a Standing Offer: The commitment to "delicious authentic Thai food" is a constant draw. For many, the quality and genuine taste are the primary "special offer" that keeps them coming back, especially in an area with diverse food choices.
- Comfort Food Appeal: Offering "nice comfort food" fills a specific niche for those seeking satisfying, homely meals that might be hard to find elsewhere. This inherent characteristic serves as a consistent attraction.
- Personalised Service: The "friendly auntie" managing everything provides a level of personal touch and warmth that can be considered a unique value proposition, distinguishing the stall from more impersonal dining establishments.
Given its operational model, any "special offers" are likely to be informal, such as a chef's special of the day, or perhaps a slight price adjustment for certain combinations, if at all. It is best to visit the stall directly or check local word-of-mouth for any spontaneous specials. Their core appeal remains their consistent quality and affordable, authentic Thai fare.

Jul 18, 2024 · Richard LinWaiting time around 35 minutes. Lady boss works alone with no helper. Over all reasonable price. Delicious authentic thai food.
Jul 28, 2022 · denise mahFirst time trying the food here... The star dish is the belachan fried pucuk paku.... Out of this world! Enjoyed the stewed pork knuckle too, although it was a little fatty. Wanted to try the slow cooked kampung chicken but theboss lady insisted that there would be too much food for both of us ( shows that she is just not interested in profits alone). Will definitely visit again. .home cooked food at its best and reasonably priced. The adjacent stall serving porridge is worth a try.
Nov 17, 2022 · Yuet Chen PhangNot a bad place for a quick dinner fixThe lady really knows her food. There is dishes and single plated type.I tried the "Mun Yee Mee" fried yee mee and was nice, standards can compete with the chain restaurants
