Coco Steamboat Scott Garden Reviews
Still the best pork bone soup steamboat in town. Great service n atmosphere. Food quality were good too. Reasonable pricing
Feb 07, 2025 · KKThe pork bone soup is soooo good! Went here on a Sunday night, no crowd at all. We usually expect watery soup at night, but the soup here tastes the same no matter what time we came. The soup worth all the praises! 👍🏼
Apr 15, 2025 · Hewzalyn HiewCompared to their old location, it looks much better, and definitely more comfortable. Can fit A LOT of customers. Used the private room for a office dinner. Minimum spend RM1000. Comes with a KTV system. The pork bone soup base is really nothing to shout about. Not impressed with the meat slices. The prawns were large but strangely tasteless. Service was quite attentive maybe because the whole night we only saw two other tables. The staff frequently helped us to change our plates and take photos. My only praise is for the fried chicken wings which were crispy and moist.
Sep 27, 2024 · William NgBest hot pot (steam boat) in town!My highlights were the bone stock soup with pork intestines and noodles. Fried bacon was also very nice surprise - strongly recommend this restaurant while you are in KL.
Jan 12, 2025 · GuillemIt's sad to see one of the great steamboat places at Old Klang Road losing its charm. The restaurant has moved twice and now sits in a fully air-conditioned space with nicely renovated areas, comfortable seating, but something seems amiss. Over the past decade, this place used to be our go-to spot for steamboat and it was always bustling with customers. However, on our recent Friday visit, the place was unusually quiet, with only 5-6 tables occupied, even on the weekend eve. Couple of reasons which I think that has led to this:1. The food quality has declined. Their famous pork bone soup, once the highlight, now tastes like it is loaded with MSG, making us quite thirsty after the meal. While we never doubted its MSG content in the past, the intensity seems overwhelming now.2. The prices have gone up, especially with an added fixed charge for condiments. However, these condiments don't stand out much. The only saving grace is their house-made red and green chili sauces, which used to be free and are still good. We spent around RM350 for a party of 5 adults.3. There are many other great steamboat places offering better experiences at similar prices. Despite their efforts with a new venue and improved service, Coco seems to fall short when compared to these alternatives. But it's not all negative. Their specialty dish, the deep-fried fermented-Beancurd pork belly, remains outstanding. The spacious ambiance and fewer crowds still make it a reasonable choice for gatherings, especially if you're accompanied by kids.
