Getting to Qing Long Shan is relatively straightforward, whether you're driving or using ride-sharing services. However, it's worth noting that parking can be quite challenging. There's even a mention of passing a "DIY gym" near the entrance, suggesting a community-created space for additional physical activity.
- Short and Enjoyable Loop: For those looking for a quick yet satisfying outdoor activity, the hike can be completed in approximately 45 minutes, making it perfect for a brisk workout before or after work, or as a weekend activity that doesn't consume an entire day.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: Based on user reviews, the presence of "friendly dogs" suggests a welcoming environment for pets, which is a great bonus for dog owners in the community (though always ensure proper leash etiquette and waste disposal).

As Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur 青龍山 is a natural public hiking area and not a commercial establishment, there are typically no formal "promotions" or "special offers" in the traditional sense, such as discounts or package deals. Its appeal lies in its inherent accessibility and the natural experience it provides.
However, the value of Qing Long Shan can be seen as an ongoing "offer" to the local community:
- Free Access: The primary "promotion" is that the hiking trail is completely free to access. There are no entry fees, making it an incredibly cost-effective option for outdoor recreation and fitness for all residents of Kuala Lumpur.

Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur 青龍山 Reviews
This place is good to train up your muscles and it has quiet steep terrain yo practice your muscles. There are ropes tied in the steep areas of the hike to help us to hike up or down. This hike is a short hike and also friendly for beginners too.Me and my friends really enjoyed this hike.Just to inform that there were dogs but they are friendlyParking would be challenging as it's in between the condos filled with cars parked outside. If you are lucky , definitely you could get them. Otherwise you could park further abit and walk about 100-200m to the hiking place.

Jul 29, 2024 · Christopher KumaranWell maintained by locals... recommended to come to explore. Just follow existing marking, easy trail.
Apr 25, 2021 · Yohann OngWhen there today in the morning! Love the community here. They are so friendly and helpful! As it was my first time, I was surprised to see a hiking trail right behind of many condos in Desa Petaling. It is a 2km hiking loop. So don't worry about getting lost as you always return to where you started! It's very easy hike with mix of flat surface and forest trails, but the view across KL and nature are amazing! You get to see some squirrels and maccabees if you are lucky, especially near the abandoned wooden house.Met with some locals and apparently it was made by the local community back in August 2020 due to MCO lockdown. Wonderful! They asked me to help taking care of this area. So anyone visiting here, do keep ourselves clean, pick up trashes and help nipping off blocking tree branches! Haha~Don't forget. You can get to Salak South New Village (Kampung Baru Salak South) here. They have some great food too. But do check first if you need halal food.Tips: Wear long pants if you are afraid of mosquito bites.
