Altingsburg Lighthouse is a well-maintained historical site, but there isn’t much to do beyond walking around and enjoying the view. Unfortunately, the tram wasn’t operating during my visit, so getting there required a bit of a walk. The lighthouse itself is closed to visitors, so you can’t go inside, which was a bit disappointing.There’s a small museum on-site, but it requires an entrance fee. Around the area, you’ll also find a few old cannons, likely remnants from the previous govt I think, adding to the historical feel of the place. Monkeys are roaming around, so be mindful of your belongings.Overall, it’s a decent spot for a short visit if you enjoy history and nature, but don’t expect too much in terms of activities.

The best time to come here is evening as the lighthouse is facing west and you can really catch a spectacular sunset on the horizon. I have been here many times before.There's nothing much interesting here except there's a simple museum and you need to buy ticket for entry.There are many wild monkeys around here. Try not to hold any plastic bags or foods in your hands as they may attempt to snatch it.The scenery here is really amazing. If you are a photograph lover then you will love it here.Taking tram up the hill is an interesting experience too.There's a very beautiful mosque at the foothill.

The lighthouse located on Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor is also known as the Altingsburg Lighthouse in conjunction with the name of the Dutch Governor General who ruled during the capture of Malawati City at the hands of the Dutch. It is the symbol of Kuala Selangor which is still strong and serves until now to be a guide for ships passing through the Straits of Malacca either from the North or South. The lights from this lighthouse will be installed from 7.00 pm to 6.00 am daily.Some details provided by the Marine Department of Peninsular Malaysia (Central Region) on this lighthouse are as follows:- Lighting Features: Fi (2) 15 Seconds- Visibility Range: 18 Nautical Miles- Lamp Height: 73 Meters (above APPM level)- Building Height: 27 Meters- Year Built: 1907

a wooden viewing tower strategically located used to view the surrounding Taman Alam Kuala Selangor above the mangrove swamp forest tree top. Be aware that sometime it is closed for maintenance otherwise it is possible for healthy adult to climb but not suitable for children. the track to reach this tower from the main entrance started with a good gravel track before turning into an earthen path. nice place for taking pictures

Very interesting little town that is worth a stop if you are heading from Cameron Highlands to Taman Megara. A lot of wall art, shop houses renovated or not, and many photo worthy corners!

Kuala Lipis proved to be a very interesting surprise on our way to Taman Negara. We were only planning a quick lunch stop, but we were happy to discover a lot of wall art in this street with the impressive floor tiles that give a 3D illusion. We visited on a weekday, early afternoon (during Thaipusam holiday) and the street was absolutely quiet. Do walk around the city too; it is small anyway and there are many interesting photo ops around!!!

A nice spot for nature and railway fans. One of Lipis Geopark Geological Heritage Site. A place to relax and unwind your mind while appreciating how the river flows and occasional splash of the water created by the fishes. Train (DMU-Diesel Multiple Unit) will pass by around 2.15pm and 4.15pm everyday for those train enthusiasts.P. S. There is no toilets here and no loitering please. Take care of our nature.

A very interesting pier is hidden in the fishing village. The boss was very friendly and introduced us to many delicious ancient delicacies. The pier is clean and safe, and everyone had a good time. We will bring friends here next time!

Upon arrival, register with the rangers and pay a modest entrance fee. Then you can drive a bit further and park. This canopy walk is partly accessible for people in wheelchairs. Nice excursion from Gua Musang or Merapoh.

A slightly different building where the main material is bamboo tree trunks. The entire building is intended and designed as a playground for children, but it can also spark the imagination of adults. Parts of the building are made of iron pipes painted in the same color as the bamboo trunks.

Came because of Atlas Obscura but left disappointed as I expected more. It was cool to see, but not worth a huge detour for. It was such a non-event that I didn’t even take a photo, so my attached photos are of the immediate vicinity and the crazy rain I escaped by visiting here!👦 wonderful for children to get their imaginations flowing, but there is very little to do other than climb up stairs and walk through it and you’re done. For us dull adults with no imagination and/or wish to play role play games, there’s nothing here!☔️ I did, however, manage to escape the rain here, so for that I give it a few more stars!🦽 this is not wheelchair or mobility impaired accessible due to steps up to a bridge and a wooden walkway that’s tiles dip into the mud and are not secure. Please be careful!

Such a huge place to discover. Well spend time with the kids. Very kids friendly place. Long walk, but worth it. I will explore more with my kids, they really love this place so much. The washroom is quite far away, but really clean. They had so many choices of playgrounds over here. It's very attractive and parents will love it too. Because it's free.

Nice place to spend some time enjoying the many attractions for free. Must see while you are here is the Sunken Garden, an instagrammers delight. There is plenty of seating around it in the shade, while you wait for the many people photographing to disperse. It has a lot of delightful colour.

This is my favourite place in Botanical Garden.Lake, canopy, picnic area and so on.The glass canopy was a bit dirty than I expected but didn’t bother me as soon as it’s safe.There was a buggy car which rides all around botanical garden and if you ask to a driver you can stop any place like Kl bird park, butter flies park…within botanical garden.Adult Rm15, children Rm10It seemed like there was no particular stops so if you want to hop-on, give him a look and he will stop for you.

The one and only legendary place where you want to start your journey through the colorful streets of Brickfields. It is also a primary location where you can meet up with your homies if you don't have a proper "start the hang out" destination. One minute away from it you can get some super nice milky coffee and banana donuts (that is how I call them) Gulgula. Heaven on earth!

Newly painted streets representing Indian colours. However the umbrellas hung on top always gets easily worn out and torn. Perhaps local council should fix high quality ones. It is a historic place situated along the cobbled streets of an old city. It was the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling street.The alley was lined with old, stately buildings that had been standing for generations. The buildings had weathered the changes in the climate and time, but still retained their old-world charm. Many of the buildings were ornately decorated and some even had statues or busts of important people along their walls.

It's no brainier that this is a popular photo taking backdrop for all visitors, so do expect might have to wait a bit for your turn. So, please be considerate of others. But good thing is that there's a big tree nearby, can find shelter from the scorching hot sun 🌞 while waiting. I guess this is the only good explanation why this is hiding in between the historical buildings

This is the famous KL statue.It's a little far from the central of city, so we used Grab to visit. The timing was good and we were able to take photos without lining up.There are European-style buildings in the surrounding area, so the scenery is also beautiful.

This is an interesting attraction built on a bridge called the Klang River Bridge, and offers quite a unique view of some of the famous landmarks in the city. The paintings on some of the buildings nearby depict the different ethnic groups that live in Malaysia in their respective national costumes. The place is playfully designed with crisscrossed mirrors and seating areas to sit and enjoy the view.

The government and local council have made significant efforts to restore Klang rivers by removing dams, replacing culverts, and rehabilitating floodplains to bring these waterways back to life.I still remember how this river looked 30 years ago when I was in school — it was filled with garbage, filthy, and foul-smelling.Today, the transformation is remarkable. Although the water is still darker and not as clear as it might have been a century ago, the improvement is undeniable. There is no more garbage or plastic, and wildlife has returned — birds, large monitor lizards, and many fish now thrive in the river.I sincerely hope that those living along the riverbanks will continue to keep it clean and avoid dumping waste into the drains and river. The vibrant music near Masjid Jamek drew me to the River of Life, which was a delightful discovery. The light rain created a unique atmosphere for the light show, making it feel almost intimate. I love a good big colourful flag blowing fully unraveled in the wind. Unfortunately not windy today and compared to others it’s not that large. However, it has great significance flying over independence square. Its representation of freedom is more important than its size.No charge to visit either and plenty of other attractions in the area.

Climb high and look into the distance. This observation tower has five floors and is about 20 meters high. The wind at the top of the tower is very strong, and you can enjoy the view of the entire Kuala Lumpur city center including K L Tower, KLCC, and Tun Razak Exchange from the tower. From here you can also see the panoramic view of the entire lake park and the mountains in the distance. The scenery of the lakes and mountains is so beautiful.

Eco Saga Park is the perfect getaway for relaxation and bonding with loved ones! I had an incredible time enjoying a perfectly blended coffee made by my cousin while having heartwarming chit-chat with my relatives. The evening was lively with an exciting game of pickleball, followed by a delicious barbecue and some beer under the night sky. Hearing the soothing sounds of nature all around made the experience even more special.The next morning, we were treated to a comforting plate of nasi lemak, which was the perfect start to the day. The environment was serene, and the gentle rain from midnight till morning added a peaceful vibe to our stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a fun and tranquil retreat with family and friends!

The area itself is nice. No entrance ticket. Suitable for family with kids since the water level varies. Lots of low tide area and some deep area (but not that deep, max is adult knee length).I could give the place higher stars but lack of public toilet and changing area is quite a bump. I saw only one public toilet at the entrance.Good news to hikers, i heard there's hiking trail in the area, but did not went there, so cannot review much.

The place is accessible by MRT, which is probably the most convenient way. Or use Grab, but the way back to the pick up point is more busy.This sacred place is worth a visit. Although the place is more busy, the atmosphere and everything makes up for it. The number of stairs equals liters of sweat if you go up, so take some water.You will not suffer from hunger or thirst, there are food and drink stalls here. Various souvenir shops are also located here. Watch out for the cheeky monkeys, do not carry a plastic bag with you. If you do not notice them, everything will be fine. Toilets are for a fee.

not sure what happened to this place now. this is my second time here, the first time we came was in 2021 and the process was very smooth and the place was very well maintained.but this time, everything changed. we have called the person in charge in advance before coming and the person acknowledged our appointment.when we reached the place, the ATV was all broken, the place was dirty and not awake. the one who greeted us was an elderly couple. when we asked, where was that before, they said, oh that's our son-in-law, that person is no longer here. and we were like, okay...just proceed.then we both had to sleep for almost an hour because the uncle went back and forth to the nearby workshop, wanted to check if the ATV was okay yet. then he said we don't have any sustenance because all the ATVs are not ready yet. the aunty tried to comfort us with small talks and showed us the whole garden, unfortunately the whole place is ruined. maybe it's the effect of the flood 🥺we're okay with takda rezeki, but next time if there is a communication discrepancy between you and your parents, please don't involve the customer. Your parents seem to have no idea about our booking. They both fumbled trying to prepare what should be done but they failed. Sorry to see.we are coming from far away, we have confirmed early that we can come, so let's come. we have planned a good itinerary all the way to Jerantut. wasting time and energy you know.

Reachable by car passing through villages and plantations. The waterfall is about 100m walk from the car park. The place is not maintained. Rubbish everywhere. The waterfall itself is nice and I considered easy to navigate. I have no problem to bring my kids to the water falls. Do enjoy it and will go back again.

From main road access passes by oil palm Estate and Orang Asli Villages about 7km to reach car park then walk 100m. This place has been long not doing maintainance, broken bridge fencing, dirty toilet and rubbish everywhere. Indeed the Waterfall is beautiful and water is clear. Only the nearby residents come here to play.

The place is abandoned and has not been taken care of for quite some time. Despite the not so well maintained Taman Eko Rimba, you can still go to the waterfall (around 5-10mins walk from car). Went there on a Tuesday evening, had the place entirely to ourselves. Magnificent waterfall, crystal clear water.Note that it's in a very secluded area, we had to drive by villages of the indegenious, rubber plantation, banana plantation, and oil palm tree plantation to get there.

A very useful crossing for Jalan Parlimen, Bulatan Dato Onn and ramps to Jalan Kinabalu. You can get there from the river walk from Independence Square. There are benches to sit on if you want to rest or get your bearings but you may find the traffic noise a little loud. There are 2 friendly cats living there and many people bring meat or cat food for them.

This long awaited connection between the Menara DBKL, Dataran Merdeka areas and Tugu Negara area is now open. This makes it safer to cross Jalan Parlimen, Bulatan Dato Onn and its ramps to Jalan Kinabalu.Disappointingly the three entrances/exits are not signposted (yet) and the entrance near Menara DBKL is a steep set of steps into a gloomy subway, see photo.There is the usual amphitheatre but with the obvious traffic noise I am unsure of its purpose.There is also the bridge that seems to connect the two parts of Jalan Parlimen and I am intrigued when it is intended to be used.

The Masjid Jamek footbridge is located near Dataran Merdeka and offers beautiful views of the Gombak River and the city skyline. It is wheelchair accessible and is a popular spot for photography.

At night this area is lit up and the river is illuminated blue. It was a nice find on my night walking tour of Kuala Lumpur. It is about 2 minutes from a monorail stop.

This water fountain is best viewed when its dark. Best to avoid 9-9.30pm when it doesn’t operate. The displays end quite late at midnight, later than the KLCC Water Fountains.

If it’s your intention to see the Water curtain operating hours, be sure to time you visit in line with the operating hours, which are: 9am-12 pm, 2pm-5pm, 7-9pm & 9.20 to midnight. It is a free attraction. It’s not as spectacular as the display at the KLCC site.

This is just another place in front or beside the Masjid. It got fountain activated sometimes so the view is very nice. You can take photos right in front of the brigde that got this place as backdrop.

It is a much better experience to visit this place in the evening. The blue lights that come on in the evening really make the place look alive. The daytime experience is a little less appealing, especially as the dome on the mosque looks very shabby and in need of a paint.

The pictures on the buildings are beautiful. You can see big fish in the water. However, there is not much to be done. You can go for a walk to visit mosques and structures in the surrounding area.

This whimsical and totally unexpected image caught me by surprise ( needless to say ). It certainly brightened up my morning. I would recommend all Malaysians and foreign tourists to walk through this path. Plus there are quite a few eating places around here. Good food too.

With the exception of several outdoor stalls, there wasn't much activity here. There was some food trucks selling burgers and coffee, but otherwise it was pretty much dull and visually unattractive. I guess maybe the outdoor event would attract more people at night when the weather is cooler.

The Curve Water Fountain remains a favourite for many since its foundations were laid here. It's actually just a fountain, but it's pretty odd to know, not to judge, that tons of people come here and take photos of and with it to leave some memories of their good times while visiting the nearby shopping complexes.

Let me comment a little because I'm a raft fishing fan, if I'm in Johor I'm always looking for a raft house but the water is salty, right, this time I'm staying here overnight is the feasibility of the owner's service, the atmosphere is very satisfying, the price is very cheap with the aircon and the fan in the lobby, all the facilities are ready here, we admit, we're not experts in this world of fishing, but in this raft we're all good at it hahahahahaaaaa 😅 everyone I feel like pulling fish, even if it's small or big, it still doesn't matter, you can continue to fry it, ready to cook sambal again, it's really good to eat on a raft, it's fresh² with a very comfortable atmosphere, only God knows how great the experience is here hehe 😁 with this I give 5 stars 🌟 sincerely from my family and we will definitely repeat 🔂 again in sha allah 🔂📌

Went to Allans Water in Fraser’s Hill. It’s a natural lake up in the hills, really peaceful and far from the city noise. You can feed the fish there and also rent a bike to pedal on the lake.We took the RM10 option for two people and kayaked for about 15 minutes. It was so calm and relaxing — the lake is surrounded by forest, the air was cool, and the whole vibe was super serene. While we paddled, there were ducks swimming around too, which made it even nicer.The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a really nice experience and a great way to chill out in nature. Would definitely recommend if you want a calm escape from the city.

A lovely hidden gem at Fraser’s Hill! Allan Water is a peaceful, scenic spot perfect for a relaxing break in nature. The atmosphere is serene with lush greenery all around and a calm pond full of fish – great for feeding and just enjoying the view. The place is well maintained and clean. It’s a great spot for families, especially kids, to have fun and learn a little about nature. The short walk to get there is easy and pleasant. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Fraser’s Hill!

Cool place for kids. So much fishes in the pond, somehow feeling a bit disgusted. But in a good way, not in a bad way.Surprisingly, Fraser Hill place of attraction will put a signboard of price at the entrance. It is cheap as well, not like Genting Highlands. So you know how much you will spend in this spot.Rm2 for fish's pallet or food. There is a duck boat for rental that you can paddle at this small pond. No wait.

Free entrance on the 1st floor by stairs. A good place for anyone who wants to know a little more on the history of Fraser's hill and topics on birds. There's so much to read and places to sit especially for children and the elderly. Well written information boards and educational diagrams on avians. Clean and peaceful.

Visited on 2022 3rd rayaToad heading to fraser hill is way curvy than cameron or genting road…Land slide can be seen along the road way up not 1 alot so i consider the road is VERY dangerous if it started to rain.Literally a tree fell on road the time we aheadi g back home.the road looks like poorly maintain.From my point of view if there is no initiative from the gov/politiction on upgrading this place as one of the local attraction i can sse this place getting closed in near time. Other than the locals no outside will go there because of the road-hotel -food and visiti g place is not maintained as it supposed

The waterfall was truly breathtaking, with multiple levels offering different vantage points to experience its beauty. Each level revealed a new, stunning perspective, making the journey to the top feel magical. However, while the road started off smooth and easy, it quickly became rough and challenging to navigate as we progressed, which made the hike a bit strenuous.One thing that stood out was the large population of monkeys in the area. They were everywhere, rummaging through trash in search of food. Unfortunately, much of the trash was scattered around the area, with plastic and paper waste littering the ground. It really detracted from the natural beauty of the place. What made it even worse was seeing some visitors carelessly throwing their trash on the ground, showing little respect for the environment. It was disappointing to witness such disregard for nature in such a stunning location.

Rawang Falls is one of the most beautiful natural places in Malaysia. If you want to go, I advise you to plan in advance and take food with you because there are no service facilities available near the waterfalls. Also, you should be careful of the monkeys because they take things and run away. There is an entrance fee per person of 8 Malaysian ringgit

Nice place for some fun and exercise. You can hike, dip in the water and camp there. RM3 per person and RM5 for car parking. There is an alternate parking down the road at the same price. 3 waterfalls, water is clear and cool. Shady with thick foliage. It's quite a hike, the trail is slippery, do exercise caution. Maintenance should be done for the missing steps, rusty and broken railings. There are many monkeys there and visitors strewn rubbish all over. The bottom of some of the animal proof trash bins are also broken, which meant the monkeys could pull trash out from the bottom. Sadly, this is quite a common state of many parks in Malaysia. There are many shops at the entrance selling cooked food, swim wear, beverages. Unless you are having a picnic at the open area, you shouldn't need to bring food up to the waterfall area. But if you do, please bring your trash along with you!

The hike at Kanching starts off easy, but right after the first waterfall, the steps get really steep — enough to strain your knees if you’re not careful. But don’t worry, once you get past that section, the trail becomes much more gentle and easier to walk.The effort is totally worth it though — the higher you go, the more peaceful and beautiful it gets.One important tip: please don’t feed the monkeys. Once they know they can get food from humans, they’ll start approaching people and that can lead to aggressive behavior.Pack light, wear proper shoes, and enjoy the nature — Kanching is a gem close to the city!

Nice waterfall to visit. Climb up time ranging 10 minutes to 60 minutes. Depends on which level your like to reach. There are 7 level of different water fall spot. However each spot is quite small to gather big group of people. And avoid weekend if possible due to too crowded. For kid, can reach waterfall at level 1-3, level 4 and above is very steep and difficult for kids. Many monkeys there to steal our foood. Be cautious if you plan to picnic there.

It took half an hour from the Top of kanching waterfall by follow the stream to reach this waterfall. This waterfall is slipery. I went there alone. Nobody to be seen there. Follow my ig : @d_onlee11

Peace be upon you..I bathed in Amir Rimba on 1/2/2025 (Saturday) with 4 families.. 7 adults & 3 children.. Returned from the river in the evening, 5 adults experienced symptoms of headache and stomach ache.. And on 2/2/2023 (Sunday), 3 children started vomiting, diarrhea and fever.. One child was rushed to the emergency room on 3/2/2025 in the morning and diagnosed rotavirus infection caused by contaminated water. Meanwhile, the other 2 children are still in the same condition of vomiting and diarrhea until the day I drop this review.Please AMIR RIMBA and the resort across the river, which is GIBS RESORT, take this case seriously.. Make sure the surrounding area of the resort and the water of the river, gentlemen, are in a clean condition.. Take every complaint seriously before the situation becomes more serious and causes death. The river is beautiful but it's a pity if the water is polluted. Thank you.P/s: I read the latest comment on Amir Rimba before I said, there is toilet water drainage... Please check the water flow of the resort again, thank you.

Beautiful river. Starting to log in has been charged. Enter the two points here and pay the other one inside. Other rivers.. Bank X is clean because there is irrigation from the toilet.. The one in zone A is ok.. The one next to it is like x is ok. Sorry for the repeat. It's okay.

Jalan Rembia Street Art in Kuala Lumpur is a vibrant tourist attraction. Located near Jalan Alor, it’s surrounded by restaurants, convenience shops, massage parlors, budget hotels, and apartment buildings. The area is filled with colorful and lively wall art, making it a great spot for some daytime exploration. The artwork brings a burst of color to the area and provides plenty of photo opportunities. The murals are over a large area and it has brightened the place up. However, the area is not well cared for and quite depressing to walk around.There was rubbish piled high, homeless people with their possessions in shopping trolleys. We also saw a rat into one of many rat holes.

Make sure you stay South of Changkat Bukit. The pin is currently North of Changkat Bukit and it is wrong and NOT a safe place for women to be. I didn’t feel particularly welcome there as a man. Dirty and not maintained. South seems fine.

We got back a few days ago from Penang where we were able to view lots of street art. So we were expecting some good artwork here. While it’s very colourful and has some really nice touches like the 5 cats in the windows, it lacks individuality.Some of the paintings are on the back of shop doors that are constantly open, Sotheby’s can’t be seen.Never saw an area in Penang as filthy as this either. It also has vagrants who appear to be living here. I would not allow my wife to come here on her own in the evening. Even with her curlers in when she is a frightening sight.

Free street art. I would say come with a tripod or friend and take some photos. It looks really cool and it appears they change the art after some time. But yes I think if you are in town absolutely come and swing by here to check it out and take some photos.

The wall art lifts the area, but it still is not a well cared for area. The paths were dirty, there was a leaking main causing us to walk through dirty water. Also saw a rat running along the path in broad daylight and there are plenty of rat running along holes along here. Would definitely not recommend coming here after dark.

You can find good affordable Bangla Food around here. The arts i don't care about. It wasn’t anything special, as for the overall environment. If it was in a park or something, it would have been maybe a place worth visiting. Also often special ladies search for customers around,so not really a good place tbh. The only thing good about here is the food around, especially if you like Bangla Food and are looking for affordable options.

Chinese New Year 2023. We could see these colourful steps from our hotel so came to investigate. The steps are one entrance into the newly developed Mitsui LaLaport mall. The area was once the site of the Pudu prison, now demolished, but the main gateway is preserved.The groundbreaking ceremony was June 2017. The area is now known as Bukit Bintang City Centre. Popular photo spot.

River of Life South Mid Valley. The start of the bike and walking path goes along the klang river. This stretch follows the Klang river from Mid Valley to Brickfields. The path winds through Brickfields, past an Indian temple and high-rise apartments. Overhead, the KL Monorail track ends at the depot. After Brickfields , one will reach KL Railway Station before Central Market / Pasar Seni and Independent /Medeka Square KL.

Weekend well spent at Skyline Luge! Super fun for all ages—great for families. If you love adventure, this is definitely worth it. You can buy tickets in advance from their official website. It would recommend not bringing large bags—it’ll be a hassle while playing.One unique part is the helmet scanning system—you can view photos they took of you during the ride. I hesitated for a while but ended up buying the digital pictures because they turned out really nice and full of vibe!🅿️ is RM5 per entry, and it’s quite easy to find a spot. There’s a night market and live band in the evening, so you can shop and grab some food.The night view from the ferris wheel 🎡 is beautiful—RM12 per ride.Just a small tip: if you’re sensitive to the smell of sweat from shared helmets🪖 consider bringing your own disposable head cover and some sanitizer, because all helmets do have a bit of a sweaty smell. 🙃😵

Super fun experience! My kids were 7 and 9 and they could go down alone. Came on a weekday at 11am and there was 0 wait. There were 4 runs for us to choose from to keep things exciting. Recommend first timers to buy at least 4 rides. First run is basically for learning. And second ride onwards is when the fun begins!

An absolute must VISIT!!! possibly my favourite activity in KL. An excellent day out with friends. You can reach top speeds on the luge and there are 4 individual tracks to choose from.Some of which have tunnels. Definitely recommend if you are going with a group of friends.

We went on a weekday in a long holiday season. The crowd wasn’t that bad and there’s no waitat all except that we came early before the park/ticket entrance even open. Booked tickets via klook and also offical website skyline luge. Official website offers 5% discount while klook offers shopback and other promocodes. You can choosewhichever best suits and benefits you.Once you redeem the ticket if buy via 3rd party agent, you can go straight to the skylift. Mind you that each that you want to take the luge ride, you have to ride the skylift. So for us with a combo ticket of 4rides+skylift, 4 times of riding skylift before you can ride down the track. Oh yes, take a helmet before you queue for the skylift and it’s not which colour you want but each colour represents different head size.We just ride down with our bags/handbags on our lap. Not sure if there’s locker to store stuff. At the end of your ride, you can take your helmet and scan it to see your captured videos andphotos and buy them if you want.Overall all good and it was fun and exciting. Although wetook 4rides but it was quick.Need to finish all rides in between 2hours to enter the park.

If you're a tourist, weekdays are perfect. But check weather first - rides get cancelled if it rains.PHOTOS: Cool feature - helmets have sensors for automatic photo/video capture! Important tip: Digital package takes 24-72 hours to receive (had to follow up via Facebook/email). Consider getting physical copies instead (around RM200 for few videos + 3 photos) if you want them immediately.PREPARATION:- Very hot & sunny with limited shade- Bring water and snacks for kids- Wear comfortable clothes & closed shoes- Hat & sunscreen essentialOur toddler absolutely loved the tandem rides! Staff were helpful, facilities clean, and multiple tracks keep it interesting. Perfect family activity - worth getting multiple rides as kids (and adults!) will want to go again!Definitely recommend, just plan ahead for weather and photos!

Nice ride on the roads into Chamang. The waterfall has a few layers but probably not advised to climb up as the injury will be great if you slip down. Cool water for a dip. Clean basic toilets. But you need to bring your own food and drinks as there seems to be no food vendors. Worth a visit if you’re around Bentong area.

My story maybe a little bit long, so i suggest u guys take a seat and relax.. lol.First, i and 3 of my buddies planning to camping here about 1 month ago. We just got all the detailed of this waterfall from google.We drove from kl straight to bentong pahang using old road, which is crossed the Bukit Tinggi and Janda Baik. We reached there at 3.30 a.m and continue driving at off road until reached Kebun Ayah Parking. We parked our car there and continue walking to Latar Hammer, it taked about 45 minutes to reach the river that we hve to crossed. We have to wait until sunrise because too dark for us to see the deep of river.Finally we manage to get the waterfall at 7.30 a.m which is the first one there. We decided to camping at the sand which is 3/4 meter from waterfall. Breathtaking view, i love the smell of jungle. I love the wind from waterfall. We were having fun camping there.Im honestly recomended this place for you guys. Trek is quite easy for beginner. Remember to bring back your rubbish and do not left there. You will see the sign of Malay Pantun ' kedatangan anda diundang, sampah sila bawa pulang ' .

Lata Hammer Waterfall -Situated at Lembah Perting in the District of Bentong, Pahang Darul Makmur, Malaysia.It's also known as 'Perting Falls' @ 'Perting Pandak Waterfall'. A waterfall with a white sandy beach, good sightseeing, peaceful place, serene and quite crowded. Nice place to chill and take a dip in a large pool with crystal clear and clean water. Worth it, cool and refreshing surrounded by the greeneries forest.You can reach there by 4wd, bike, cycle or hike/walk. The distance is about 2km with the duration around 1.5hours ++ (two-way/ascent and descent). There's a few challenges, walk on dirt road/track, crossing the small river and hike up to the waterfall/camping site.Be careful during the raining season and avoid swim near to the waterfall due to safety factor. The dark area is deep which're considered quite dangerous to bathe in and have a reputation for strong currents stream and whirlpools, it may sudden drown you.The toilet and changing room available at the camp site. Some people testing their luck to catch live fishing bait like kelah and tengas fish. Keep the area clean, what you bring in you should bring out! The views are amazing and the staff are so friendly. Went with 3 of my friends and an infant, the ride was suitable for all. Very relaxing atmosphere and there were many fireflies to see that night. Loved the experience.

Great service. RM60 for a boat of 4(mykad). Everyone was very polite and courteous and could explain a lot about the fireflies and in English as well for tourists. Ok for young children. Life jackets provided . We went around 830pm and were able to see the fireflies. Best at high tide as the guide advised us.

The place offers surreal experience in wild mangroves which border the river. It appears as if the trees are laden with series bulb wires until a firefly flies into your jetty boat and sits on your hand and crawls on it with a small bulb lit butt which makes it both cute and curious. Its a must visit site that would put you in awe of nature and its genius creator.

The river is okay quite clean but the toilet is very2 dirty. We paid RM2 each person to enter but why they didnt maintain the toilet at all ?? Toilet in one area, the one that we have to cross the bridge is very scary with broken doors and broken pipes, flooding everywhere. The toilet near the entrance is better but very dark, no light, and only 2 stall available. Very poor maintainance.

Most ideal time to visit is anyday between 7am to 10am. The best way to see this wall is driving in through the back lane. If you want to take photos, it is usually okay to park briefly by the roadside as long as you do not obstruct the trucks entering Lalaport loading bay. Counter closed at 8pm!Fyi IF you're in a hurry to collect or purchase something from Lalaport West Entrance, you may park here.👇🏻Park your car🚗 or motorbike 🏍️ at the road kerb of the West entrance. There's a side space where you can park after 7pm. No need to drive in the basement car park. The Coway counter was quite a maze. Had to inquire from the "I" counter where was the location. I dashed 🏃🏻‍♀️ and collected my race kit 🏅🎽 just in time before they wrap up! Managed to get in my car within 35 mins.

My favourite place to see views of Kuala Lumpur city. I have been here several times and I love it. For me, the best view is during sunset. Surrounding with nature and good places to heal yourself. Just don't make loud noise and enjoy the vibe with a cup of coffee 🌿🧋There is no specific parking, just parking on the road side and make sure not to block the path. Also please take out your own trash.

One of our favourite places to hang out and as I said respectfully, one lifetime will not be enough to try out all the amazing food they have here.Pricing is a lot more reasonable than let's say Jalan Alor. And it's close to the train lines. Can combine with a visit to Saloma Link bridge perhaps.They work hard to keep the cleanliness levels good. Just need to watch for bikes tailing very close when walking on the roads (wherever the footpaths have been taken over by tables and chairs)

It needs permit from pejabat hutan, 5rm/person and get it in advance. They ask another 1rm from local guard before you go to hike in entrance. There are lots of stray dogs. Totally worth the time since the waterfall is beautiful. Don't come with grab car, better rent a car cause once you arrived in here, no driver will pick you up to the main road you need to walk down there. There is a bus RapidKL until MRT Sri Raya for 2rm/person.

Nice place to spent time on weekend.. U can to park at the entrance. RM1 for motorcycle parking and Rm3 for entrance.. Before reach to the Waterfall, u need to hike around 4km distance. U will see some nice view in the middle of the journey. Medium level of hike, kids also can do.

Quite crowded, maybe due to the weekend. Nice place to visit to have the nature vibe. Many families and groups of friends came. However there are not many stalls to buy food from inside. You have a choice to buy before crossing the bridge (and pass by the ATV area), since there are some stalls at the junction which is quite far from our parking. There is only 1 restaurant inside, which is near to the changing room and a stall selling snacks and drinks with renting service for bike and float. Sometimes, there is ice cream sold on motorbikes. Also, visitors can rent hut to rest at RM20. It comes with a cemented resting area under the shed and bbq port. Worth to repeat but maybe need to bring home-cooked food next time. As we only eat snacks brought.

It should be said that there's a sign proclaiming that the fresh water river is contaminated with bacteria and viruses and is therefore not safe to swim in. It's still a pretty good place to have a barbecue as there are nearby toilets and tables to sit in.

Very nice waterfall ..we went up to level 5 only and had a dip there. A lot of fishes there. The hike was easy, around 45 min hike without much steep area. Just that the morning when we hike was raining before...so when we got up, the trail was all very muddy and slow the hike.

While the Twin Towers are still impressive from this recommended location, you will find it’s not possible to take a picture without part of the building being partly obscured by a skyscraper on the left. Photographs are much better taken either at the Symphony Lake side or the bridge near the Whale statue, where the views are unobstructed.

Don't get catch by iPhone photographer scam. Initially they will say it is very cheap. After that they will ask in hundreds even if you negotiate. I bet you can take your own picture from your phone with best quality. It will be very good when comparing to their output. If you have android phone, the photos won't be good once you got photos from their iphone.

Was in KL for a business trip and didn't really have this in the itinerary (free time). Was recommended by an online friend though I wasn't sure how to go and if I would find the 'light and water' show.It was cool how the show started at around 7:30pm, and people started gathering when the water fountains got taller by the minute. The Symphony Water Fountain Show at KLCC is a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur, especially at night. The dancing fountains, synchronized with colorful lights and music, create a mesmerizing experience. Watching the water move gracefully to the rhythm of the music, with the Petronas Towers as a backdrop, makes for a truly picturesque scene.However, the area tends to get very crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, making it a bit challenging to find a good viewing spot. Some people push to get closer, which can be annoying.Despite the crowd, it’s a beautiful and free experience, perfect for a relaxing evening in the city. Definitely worth visiting at least once!

Perhaps a bit less of a display than in Dubai, but overall a nice chill way to spend some of the evening. We saw a few sessions, all of which started punctually and had some slight variations in choreography - the final one we watched from the adjacent Sky Bar for a different perspective

Please note the show currently runs from 7.30 pm to 10 pm. Couldn’t help but be impressed by the water fountains here. There are displays to music around every 15 minutes. Many good locations around the lake to sit and watch. Lots of lovely colours and a great ending with water choreographed to Michael Jackson’s Feed The World.

The Petronas Twin Towers are a breathtaking sight, especially at night when they are beautifully illuminated. Even if you don’t go inside, the view from the outside is amazing and perfect for photography.There are professional photographers offering their services, or you can take your own pictures with the iconic towers as a backdrop. The surrounding KLCC Park adds to the experience, making it a great place to relax. However, visiting during the daytime can be very hot, so it’s best to go in the morning or evening for a more comfortable experience.A must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur for anyone who loves stunning architecture and city views!

This is really a beautiful spot to chill and watch the magnificent structure. The twin towers feel so majestic and amazing. Trust me, the pictures don’t do any justice.I suggest you once go in the day time and have that experience from KLCC park and in the evening watch the calm and beautiful lake symphony

The most beautiful part of KL. Must visit all these places including Pintonas Saloma LED bridge. Go to the view point of Petronas and have some beautiful clicks. Also visit Suria, KLCC park, KLCC Aqueria and Menara (KL Tower). Lovely places to visit in KL. Dont forget to visit Jlan Alor, Bukit Bintang road side shops and Changkat. Enjoy the ride!

If you happen to spend time in Kuala Lumpur, golden triangle is must and worth visiting there are lot of shopping and entertainment around there. You can find most of the international brands in shopping centers. Petronas twin towers, The exchange building, KL tower, Pavilion…… are some of the attractions.

My main concern is the toilet. There's no water to clean up. The fee to camp overnight is rm30 but the facilities are not up to par. The authorities concerned should do something to promote this place as main attractions in Maran. Even Che Minah Sayang is better than Teladas

Great place to visit, especially if you like taking photo's. The 3D galeri has a nice collection of 3d paintings which you can take a photo with together which make it looks like you are inside the painting. Markings on the ground show the best angle to take a photo and get the best result. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The ground floor gallery is dedicated to showcase leaders and famous figures in Pahang especially those from Maran. The 3D exhibits are quite realistic for a small gallery.

This place is listed as one of the heritage buildings in Batu Arang. Unfortunately it's closed to the public and we could only see it from the entrance gate which was locked.

Sad surroundings are going to be demolished and modernized. Hot real estate near KLCC. There are other kampung style houses in the area but this is the most popular and striking.Why doesn't the gov and business encourage more traditional houses as tourist spots?Reachable via MRT Raja Uda and walk about 10min.Cannot enter. Just stay outside and don't disturb the neighbourhood. There is a sticker blocking the house. Next door n slight opposite are under construction.Rumah = houseBiru = blue

There's construction going on during Feb 2025. Gotta crop in a little to get that kampung-city look. I think the folks there figured out to build up something since the background of the KL cityscape is something one can't miss.

One of the last remaining blue house in kg baru, kuala lumpur. The house that graced many Eid advertisements. Sad to see the development taking in the surrounding area. Managed to talk to the auntie in 2022 way before the place destined for development.I guess this is the price of development that we have to pay.

Under maintenance. No more fountains anymore. The elevators next to Family Mart and Morganfields never worked! Been there for 7 years. I can really used the elevator twice. Most of restaurants are moving out, left only some. Nothing fancy anymore

Modern beautiful bridge which gives you another photos with PETRONAS towers.I would advise you to visit it twice: during TV the day and in the evening with lightings. So many people come in the evening so it’s complicated to catch a good spot for pictures.If you catch the light from “photographers” who offer you good pictures with additional light and make them bright and beautiful, you don’t need to pay and use your phone :)

Parking can be quite a challenge as it is really crowded during the weekends. Uptill today entrance is free and they do have lift service to take you up to the 3rd floor.Otherwise you can take the stairs up the top floor to the saloma link. This place is definitely picturesque and scenic, perfect for photography especially under the night sky.We went there after lunch at kampong bharu.

A nice view in Ampang to check. However, it’s a bit far than what I expected. I think you might need to follow the trail as they have a bit of downhill trail. Love that MPAJ gives paid parking spot for viewers to park. Can be a rival to Bukit Tunku viewpoint.

Best spot in Ampang Jaya area to chill and view gazing. No noisy rempits but sometime only chill motor and car group. Clear your negative thoughts here or just come to chill sometimes. Trust me its worth it.
