Assalamualaikum and hello to our wonderful community in Pahang, Malaysia! Today, we invite you to embark on a spiritual journey right here in our beloved Raub District. While "Raub Tourism Walk" might suggest a focus on natural beauty and outdoor activities, which Raub certainly has in abundance, it also brings to mind the peaceful and reflective nature of the area. In this context, we will explore the essence of a "mosque" within Raub—not a single named mosque called "Raub Tourism Walk," but rather the significant role that mosques and surau (smaller prayer houses) play across our district. These sacred spaces are fundamental to the daily lives of Muslims in Raub, offering tranquility, fostering community bonds, and serving as beacons of faith amidst the district's natural charm. Join us as we uncover what makes Raub's mosques so integral to the local experience, from their accessible locations to the wide array of services they provide, and why they are truly suitable for everyone in our community.
Raub District is celebrated for its lush landscapes and refreshing environment, as noted by visitors who "appreciate the nature" and find the place "so quiet" and "very refreshing." This sense of peace and natural beauty extends to the spiritual centers within the district. Mosques in Raub are not just structures for prayer; they are deeply integrated into the fabric of the community, serving as places where families gather, knowledge is shared, and spiritual solace is found. The harmonious coexistence of natural tranquility and fervent faith makes Raub a unique and special place for locals. Whether you seek a quiet moment for devotion after a day enjoying Raub's natural offerings or wish to participate in the vibrant communal life centered around its mosques, you'll find a welcoming environment here.
Raub District, identified by the postcode 27600 Raub District, Pahang, is a significant area in the state, known for its natural beauty and rich history. The various mosques and surau scattered throughout this district are strategically located to ensure ease of access for the local Muslim population. The main district mosque, Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar Raub, for instance, is centrally located on Jalan Tengku Abdul Samad, 27600 Raub, Pahang, making it highly accessible from various parts of the town and surrounding areas.
For residents living within Raub town, many smaller surau are situated within residential neighborhoods, allowing for convenient access for daily congregational prayers by foot or short drives. This proximity fosters a strong sense of community and encourages regular attendance. The tranquil and refreshing environment often associated with Raub, as highlighted in local reviews, extends to the mosque locations, many of which are nestled amidst greenery, offering a peaceful setting for worship.
For those traveling from the wider Raub District, including its numerous villages and agricultural areas, the main district mosque and other larger community mosques are well-connected by local roads. Ample parking facilities are typically available at these larger mosques, accommodating worshippers who commute by car or motorcycle. While specific public transportation within the smaller areas of Raub might require local knowledge of bus routes or reliance on ride-sharing services, the overall network of roads ensures that these vital religious centers are within reach for most residents. The accessibility of these mosques ensures that spiritual needs are well-catered for across the 27600 Raub District, allowing locals to easily engage with their faith and community.
The mosques and surau throughout Raub District collectively offer a comprehensive array of services that are crucial for the spiritual, educational, and social welfare of the Muslim community. While specific programs can vary by individual institution, the core offerings typically include:
- Daily Congregational Prayers (Solat Fardhu): All mosques and most surau are open for the five daily prayers, providing clean, serene, and dedicated spaces for Muslims to perform their prayers in congregation, thereby strengthening communal bonds.
- Friday Prayers (Solat Jumaat): The larger mosques, such as Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar Raub, are designated for the important weekly Friday congregational prayers, which include the khutbah (sermon) delivered by a qualified Imam, a central ritual in Muslim communal worship.
- Religious Education and Classes (Kuliah Agama & Kelas Mengaji): Many facilities regularly host religious classes for various age groups, covering diverse topics such as Quranic recitation (Tajwid), Hadith studies, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and moral teachings. Classes specifically for children (Kelas Mengaji Kanak-Kanak) are very common, ensuring that the younger generation receives foundational Islamic education.
- Ramadan Activities: During the holy month of Ramadan, mosques and surau become vibrant centers for communal Iftar (breaking of fast) gatherings, fostering unity and shared blessings. Special Tarawih prayers are also held nightly after the Isha prayer.
- Eid Prayers (Solat Aidilfitri and Aidiladha): On the two major Islamic festivals, grand congregational prayers are typically held at the larger mosques, drawing significant attendance and promoting a strong sense of community celebration.
- Funeral Rites Assistance (Pengurusan Jenazah): Mosques often provide facilities and guidance for performing funeral prayers (solat jenazah) and offer support to grieving families in accordance with Islamic tradition.
- Community Welfare Programs: Mosques frequently serve as hubs for various community welfare initiatives, including the collection and distribution of Zakat (charity), organizing aid for the less fortunate, and coordinating local volunteer efforts (gotong-royong).
- Marriage Solemnization (Akad Nikah): Larger mosques often facilitate the solemnization of marriages according to Islamic rites, providing a sacred setting for this significant life event.
- Youth Programs: Some mosques actively engage the younger generation through specific programs designed to encourage their participation in religious activities, leadership development, and community service.
These comprehensive services underscore the integral role of Raub District's Islamic institutions in nurturing faith, promoting education, and strengthening the social fabric of the local community.
The mosques and surau throughout Raub District (27600 Raub District, Pahang) collectively possess a range of features and highlights that enhance their role as central community pillars and spiritual havens:
- Diverse and Appealing Architecture: From the distinctive Middle Eastern design concept with repeated arches and unique dome shading at Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar Raub, to the more traditional local architectural styles found in smaller surau, Raub's mosques offer visual appeal and reflect cultural heritage. The pillars of Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar, arranged in a loop-like shape, symbolically represent "the spirit of unity of the people," a significant highlight.
- Serene and Spacious Prayer Halls: Each mosque provides a clean, well-maintained, and spacious main prayer hall designed for tranquil worship. Features like comfortable prayer carpets, good ventilation, and natural lighting ensure a conducive atmosphere for devotion, aligning with the "quiet" and "refreshing" nature of Raub.
- Modern Ablution Facilities (Tempat Wudhu'): Clean and easily accessible ablution areas for both men and women are standard, ensuring comfort and hygiene for worshippers.
- Community-Friendly Layouts: The design of these religious sites often includes communal spaces beyond the main prayer hall, such as classrooms for religious studies, meeting rooms for committees, and areas for social gatherings, fostering community interaction.
- Ample Parking: Given that many congregants arrive by vehicle, most mosques in Raub offer dedicated and sufficient parking spaces, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
- Natural Surroundings: Many mosques, especially those outside the town center, benefit from Raub's "nature and forest environment," being situated amidst greenery. This provides a truly "refreshing" and peaceful backdrop for spiritual activities.
- Emphasis on Unity: As highlighted by the design of Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar, there is an underlying theme of unity in the architecture and spirit of Raub's mosques, reflecting the importance of communal harmony in Islam.
- Historical and Cultural Significance: As Raub is a district with history, some mosques may carry historical significance, serving as enduring landmarks of the town's development and spiritual journey.
These collective features ensure that Raub District's Islamic institutions are not just places of worship but also comfortable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing centers that cater to the diverse needs of the local Muslim population.
As a collection of religious institutions within Raub District, the mosques and surau do not operate on commercial "promotions" or "special offers" in the typical business sense. Their primary "offerings" are spiritual, educational, and communal, provided as a service to the Muslim community and largely sustained by voluntary contributions. However, from a community and spiritual perspective, one can consider the following as continuous "special offers" available to congregants and the wider public:
- Free Access to Spiritual Guidance: The consistent availability of Imams, religious teachers, and knowledgeable community elders provides free access to spiritual counseling, answers to religious questions, and moral guidance. This is an invaluable, ongoing "offer" of support.
- Complimentary Religious Education: Regular classes, lectures, and Quranic lessons for all ages are typically provided at no cost. This continuous provision of free Islamic education is a significant benefit to the community, fostering knowledge and understanding of faith.
- Communal Meals and Hospitality: Especially during the holy month of Ramadan, many mosques organize free communal iftar (breaking of fast) events. These gatherings foster unity, shared blessings, and a strong sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among worshippers, acting as a generous form of community hospitality.
- Community Networking and Social Cohesion: The mosques serve as natural and consistent platforms for locals to connect, build relationships, and strengthen community bonds. This ongoing opportunity for social interaction, mutual support, and fostering a sense of belonging is a key "promotion" for communal well-being, enhancing the "quiet" and community-focused atmosphere of Raub.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Mosques frequently offer avenues for individuals to contribute their time and effort to community service, ranging from facility maintenance to organizing events. This provides a consistent "offer" for spiritual reward and civic engagement within the local context.
- A Sanctuary for Peace and Reflection: The continuous provision of clean, serene, and sacred spaces for quiet contemplation and personal devotion offers an immeasurable spiritual "benefit" to individuals seeking solace and connection with God, aligning perfectly with Raub's "refreshing" natural environment.
These "promotions" are integral to the mission and function of Islamic institutions in Raub District, continuously enriching the spiritual lives and strengthening the social fabric of the local community without commercial transactions.
For those in the Pahang region, particularly within Raub District, who wish to learn more about or contact the mosques and surau in the area, the primary identifier is the district postcode:
Address: 27600 Raub District, Pahang
For direct contact with the main district mosque, Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar Raub, specific information is available:
- Address: Jalan Tengku Abdul Samad, 27600 Raub, Pahang, Malaysia
- Phone: +6 093551052
- Email: jaip@pahang.gov.my
- Website: https://jaip.pahang.gov.my/MasjidSultanAbuBakarRaub
This central contact point for the district mosque can often provide information about other local surau and prayer facilities within the Raub area or direct you to the relevant authorities. For smaller, more localized surau, direct phone numbers may not always be publicly listed. In such cases, the most effective ways to gather information would be:
- Visiting the specific surau in person during prayer times.
- Engaging with local residents or community leaders in the respective villages, who are typically well-informed about their local prayer houses.
- Checking any notice boards or contact details posted at the surau premises.
These methods ensure that locals can easily connect with the spiritual centers that form an integral part of their community in Raub.
Raub District, identified by its postcode 27600 in Pahang, is an exceptionally suitable and enriching place for locals, largely due to the profound and accessible role played by its mosques and surau. These Islamic institutions are deeply woven into the district's fabric, offering far more than just places of worship; they are integral community pillars that foster spiritual growth, social cohesion, and a strong sense of belonging.
Firstly, the strategic distribution and excellent accessibility of mosques across Raub, including the prominent Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar, ensure that spiritual needs are met conveniently for all residents. Whether one resides in the town center or a more rural village, a sacred space for daily congregational prayers, Friday sermons, and special occasions is always within easy reach. This ease of access encourages consistent engagement with faith, seamlessly integrating religious life into the daily routines of the community.
Secondly, the comprehensive array of services offered by these institutions—from regular religious classes for all ages to community welfare programs like Zakat distribution—demonstrates their commitment to holistic community development. They serve as vital educational centers, ensuring that Islamic knowledge and values are continuously propagated and understood, enriching the spiritual and intellectual lives of Raub's inhabitants.
Moreover, the mosques in Raub act as pivotal social hubs. They are natural gathering places where locals connect, strengthen relationships, and participate in shared experiences like communal iftar and Eid celebrations. This fosters a robust sense of unity and mutual support, which is crucial for the well-being of any close-knit community. The peaceful and refreshing environment of Raub, highlighted by visitor reviews, further enhances the tranquility and conducive atmosphere for spiritual reflection and communal harmony within these sacred spaces.
In essence, Raub District's Islamic institutions are central to its identity. They offer a constant source of spiritual solace, invaluable educational opportunities, and a vibrant community network. For any local in Pahang seeking a place where faith is cherished, knowledge is nurtured, and community thrives amidst nature's embrace, Raub District and its beautiful mosques stand as an ideal and cherished home.

Appreciate the nature. Somehow this place so quiet. The time i go there the weather are very very refreshing. Love it !
Mar 13, 2023 · MR FZGreat place for those who want experience nature andforest environment
Mar 13, 2023 · Richel FernandoAltingsburg Lighthouse is a well-maintained historical site, but there isn’t much to do beyond walking around and enjoying the view. Unfortunately, the tram wasn’t operating during my visit, so getting there required a bit of a walk. The lighthouse itself is closed to visitors, so you can’t go inside, which was a bit disappointing. There’s a small museum on-site, but it requires an entrance fee. Around the area, you’ll also find a few old cannons, likely remnants from the previous govt I think, adding to the historical feel of the place. Monkeys are roaming around, so be mindful of your belongings.Overall, it’s a decent spot for a short visit if you enjoy history and nature, but don’t expect too much in terms of activities.
Feb 19, 2025 · Rafa Islam DibaThe best time to come here is evening as the lighthouse is facing west and you can really catch a spectacular sunset on the horizon. I have been here many times before. There's nothing much interesting here except there's a simple museum and you need to buy ticket for entry. There are many wild monkeys around here. Try not to hold any plastic bags or foods in your hands as they may attempt to snatch it.The scenery here is really amazing. If you are a photograph lover then you will love it here.Taking tram up the hill is an interesting experience too. There's a very beautiful mosque at the foothill.
Dec 27, 2024 · Larry LeeImportant Reminder:• Avoid feeding food to monkeys.• They might jump onto your car or other vehicles.• Be extra cautious with children carrying fruits or snacks, as monkeys may attempt to snatch them, potentially causing harm.Stay alert to ensure a safe experience!
Dec 03, 2024 · Jason TiuNothing to do, but just snap pic outside. The most exciting things to do was to ride on the “tram”. But I did drew a pic of the lighthouse🤣 BEWARE OF MONKEYSSSSS 🙈 🙉 🙊
Nov 22, 2023 · lshing chinThe lighthouse located on Bukit Malawati, Kuala Selangor is also known as the Altingsburg Lighthouse in conjunction with the name of the Dutch Governor General who ruled during the capture of Malawati City at the hands of the Dutch. It is the symbol of Kuala Selangor which is still strong and serves until now to be a guide for ships passing through the Straits of Malacca either from the North or South. The lights from this lighthouse will be installed from 7.00 pm to 6.00 am daily. Some details provided by the Marine Department of Peninsular Malaysia (Central Region) on this lighthouse are as follows:- Lighting Features: Fi (2) 15 Seconds- Visibility Range: 18 Nautical Miles- Lamp Height: 73 Meters (above APPM level)- Building Height: 27 Meters- Year Built: 1907

We were only planning a quick lunch stop, but we were happy to discover a lot of wall art in this street with the impressive floor tiles that give a 3D illusion. Connected by elegant white bridges, the Bamboo Playhouse in Perdana Botanical Garden beckons with a unique charm. Stepping inside feels like entering a natural sanctuary, where the intricate bamboo structures create a play of light and shadow. More than just an architectural feat, this space sparks a sense of childlike wonder in visitors of all ages. Even as an adult, I found a unique joy in wandering through its thoughtfully designed spaces, a welcome respite for relaxation. The playhouse's lakeside setting enhances its serene and picturesque beauty, making it a must-visit for those seeking a harmonious blend of innovative design and natural beauty in the concrete city.

Parts of the building are made of iron pipes painted in the same color as the bamboo trunks.
Feb 18, 2025 · I am QCame because of Atlas Obscura but left disappointed as I expected more. It was cool to see, but not worth a huge detour for. It was such a non-event that I didn’t even take a photo, so my attached photos are of the immediate vicinity and the crazy rain I escaped by visiting here!👦 wonderful for children to get their imaginations flowing, but there is very little to do other than climb up stairs and walk through it and you’re done. For us dull adults with no imagination and/or wish to play role play games, there’s nothing here!☔️ I did, however, manage to escape the rain here, so for that I give it a few more stars!🦽 this is not wheelchair or mobility impaired accessible due to steps up to a bridge and a wooden walkway that’s tiles dip into the mud and are not secure. Please be careful!
Apr 29, 2024 · Lauren AustinSuch a huge place to discover. Well spend time with the kids. Very kids friendly place. Long walk, but worth it. Jan 25, 2025 · Greg TLaman Perdana: An Instagrammer's ParadiseStep into a whimsical world at Laman Perdana, the beating heart of Perdana Botanical Gardens. Here, nature and art intertwine beneath a breathtaking undulating canopy that seems to ripple across the sky, casting intriguing shadows. Prepare your cameras for the 'Instagrammable' magic of the bottle trees, their dramatically swollen trunks standing like nature's own sculptures.Beyond their unique forms, Laman Perdana is a treasure trove of botanical wonders. Discover the living artwork of the Rainbow Eucalyptus (see photos), its bark a vibrant tapestry of shedding colors, and encounter other fascinating species like the Bottle Trees (see photos) and Moringas. On weekends and public holidays, the area comes alive with the joyful energy of locals and visitors alike. Despite the lively atmosphere, a sense of tranquility pervades, making Laman Perdana the perfect escape to reconnect with nature and find a moment of calm amidst the city. Come and experience the unique charm of this captivating space for yourself!ABOUT THE BOTTLE TREESAlso known as the "Adansonia" or true baobabs, this is an interesting plant originally from Madagascar, they are characterized by their distinctly swollen, bottle-shaped trunks. This adaptation allows them to store water, helping them survive in drier conditions. The trunk can become quite thick.ABOUT THE RAINBOW EUCALYPTUSThe Rainbow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta), also known as the Mindanao Gum or Rainbow Gum, is a truly remarkable tree renowned for its vibrant, multicolored bark that continuously sheds in strips throughout the year, revealing a vibrant and ever-changing display of colors. This makes it look like a living work of art. These trees are indigenous to the tropical rainforests of the Northern Hemisphere, specifically in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea.
May 16, 2025 · Jo LeeThis is my favourite place in Botanical Garden.Lake, canopy, picnic area and so on.The glass canopy was a bit dirty than I expected but didn’t bother me as soon as it’s safe. There was a buggy car which rides all around botanical garden and if you ask to a driver you can stop any place like Kl bird park, butter flies park…within botanical garden.Adult Rm15, children Rm10It seemed like there was no particular stops so if you want to hop-on, give him a look and he will stop for you.

Oct 03, 2024 · Des PThe one and only legendary place where you want to start your journey through the colorful streets of Brickfields. It is also a primary location where you can meet up with your homies if you don't have a proper "start the hang out" destination. It might be because I was there right after it stopped raining and the colors were a bit more grey because of that... A rat ran across it too so... Still! Go there to take a Pic :)!
Mar 01, 2025 · Igor ChlebdaUnfortunately it's not worth visiting. I thought we would get some nice aesthetic shots while we were here. Jun 08, 2023 · Brad FrewinIt is a historic place situated along the cobbled streets of an old city. It was the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling street. The alley was lined with old, stately buildings that had been standing for generations. The buildings had weathered the changes in the climate and time, but still retained their old-world charm. Many of the buildings were ornately decorated and some even had statues or busts of important people along their walls.

Mar 30, 2025 · Tasha KrishThe government and local council have made significant efforts to restore Klang rivers by removing dams, replacing culverts, and rehabilitating floodplains to bring these waterways back to life.I still remember how this river looked 30 years ago when I was in school — it was filled with garbage, filthy, and foul-smelling.Today, the transformation is remarkable. Although the water is still darker and not as clear as it might have been a century ago, the improvement is undeniable. There is no more garbage or plastic, and wildlife has returned — birds, large monitor lizards, and many fish now thrive in the river.I sincerely hope that those living along the riverbanks will continue to keep it clean and avoid dumping waste into the drains and river. Let’s protect what has been restored. Cintai Sungai Kita (Lets Love our river)
May 17, 2025 · Zafry Amir (Zachary Amr)The River of Life is a landmark urban renewal project centered around the historic confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, where Kuala Lumpur was founded in 1857. Once a vital trade and transport route, these rivers played a crucial role in the city's early development but later suffered from pollution due to rapid urbanization.Today, the River of Life project has transformed the area into a vibrant waterfront destination. With scenic walkways, atmospheric lighting, and the mesmerizing Blue Pool water fountain show, it offers a blend of heritage and modern city charm. This initiative not only enhances Kuala Lumpur’s beauty but also signifies ongoing efforts in environmental restoration and urban sustainability.
Mar 16, 2025 · Ken WongThe vibrant music near Masjid Jamek drew me to the River of Life, which was a delightful discovery. The light rain created a unique atmosphere for the light show, making it feel almost intimate. I was mesmerized by the fountain's dance, and the unexpected mist that rolled in truly transformed the scene into something enchanting. It was reassuring to see the dedicated cleaners working to keep the area spotless, even in the less-than-ideal weather, while the absence of any unpleasant smells from the river further enhanced the visit. Visitors can relax and soak it all in, thanks to the ample seating provided.

Jun 06, 2025 · Kah Feiinnot sure what happened to this place now. this is my second time here, the first time we came was in 2021 and the process was very smooth and the place was very well maintained.but this time, everything changed. we have called the person in charge in advance before coming and the person acknowledged our appointment.when we reached the place, the ATV was all broken, the place was dirty and not awake. the one who greeted us was an elderly couple. when we asked, where was that before, they said, oh that's our son-in-law, that person is no longer here. and we were like, okay...just proceed.then we both had to sleep for almost an hour because the uncle went back and forth to the nearby workshop, wanted to check if the ATV was okay yet. then he said we don't have any sustenance because all the ATVs are not ready yet. the aunty tried to comfort us with small talks and showed us the whole garden, unfortunately the whole place is ruined. maybe it's the effect of the flood 🥺we're okay with takda rezeki, but next time if there is a communication discrepancy between you and your parents, please don't involve the customer. Your parents seem to have no idea about our booking. They both fumbled trying to prepare what should be done but they failed. Sorry to see.we are coming from far away, we have confirmed early that we can come, so let's come. we have planned a good itinerary all the way to Jerantut. wasting time and energy you know.

Kolam Biru, part of the River of Life project in Kuala Lumpur, is a mesmerizing attraction that transforms the historic confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers into a breathtaking sight. The area comes alive at night with a striking blue mist effect and synchronized water fountains, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance. This transformation symbolizes the city's effort to rejuvenate its rivers while preserving their historical significance. Once a key trading hub in Kuala Lumpur’s early days, the site is now a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike, offering a perfect blend of heritage and modern aesthetics.
Mar 16, 2025 · Ken WongI actually saw the big fountain running once. But there is a small fountain with lovely mosaic tile floor that is filled with scummy water and not running. What a shame! It could be beautiful
Mar 03, 2025 · Jan SmithThis is just another place in front or beside the Masjid. It got fountain activated sometimes so the view is very nice. You can take photos right in front of the brigde that got this place as backdrop.
Mar 29, 2025 · Nordin KadirIt is a much better experience to visit this place in the evening. The blue lights that come on in the evening really make the place look alive. The daytime experience is a little less appealing, especially as the dome on the mosque looks very shabby and in need of a paint.
Jan 29, 2025 · Greg TThe pictures on the buildings are beautiful. You can see big fish in the water. However, there is not much to be done. You can go for a walk to visit mosques and structures in the surrounding area.
Oct 26, 2022 · Süeda TurgutThis whimsical and totally unexpected image caught me by surprise ( needless to say ). It certainly brightened up my morning. Despite the E-curve being cordoned for their new redevelopment, the fountain area is still a nice place to hang out. It's still breezy, and a convenient place to chill.
Dec 16, 2021 · Oyeen SWith the exception of several outdoor stalls, there wasn't much activity here. There was some food trucks selling burgers and coffee, but otherwise it was pretty much dull and visually unattractive. I guess maybe the outdoor event would attract more people at night when the weather is cooler.
Jul 01, 2022 · ZashnainThe Curve Water Fountain remains a favourite for many since its foundations were laid here. It's actually just a fountain, but it's pretty odd to know, not to judge, that tons of people come here and take photos of and with it to leave some memories of their good times while visiting the nearby shopping complexes.

Jan 29, 2025 · Zaidi TambiLet me comment a little because I'm a raft fishing fan, if I'm in Johor I'm always looking for a raft house but the water is salty, right, this time I'm staying here overnight is the feasibility of the owner's service, the atmosphere is very satisfying, the price is very cheap with the aircon and the fan in the lobby, all the facilities are ready here, we admit, we're not experts in this world of fishing, but in this raft we're all good at it hahahahahaaaaa 😅 everyone I feel like pulling fish, even if it's small or big, it still doesn't matter, you can continue to fry it, ready to cook sambal again, it's really good to eat on a raft, it's fresh² with a very comfortable atmosphere, only God knows how great the experience is here hehe 😁 with this I give 5 stars 🌟 sincerely from my family and we will definitely repeat 🔂 again in sha allah 🔂📌

Went to Allans Water in Fraser’s Hill. It’s a natural lake up in the hills, really peaceful and far from the city noise. You can feed the fish there and also rent a bike to pedal on the lake.We took the RM10 option for two people and kayaked for about 15 minutes. It was so calm and relaxing — the lake is surrounded by forest, the air was cool, and the whole vibe was super serene. While we paddled, there were ducks swimming around too, which made it even nicer. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a really nice experience and a great way to chill out in nature. Would definitely recommend if you want a calm escape from the city.
May 26, 2025 · Ni.A lovely hidden gem at Fraser’s Hill! Allan Water is a peaceful, scenic spot perfect for a relaxing break in nature. The atmosphere is serene with lush greenery all around and a calm pond full of fish – great for feeding and just enjoying the view. The place is well maintained and clean. It’s a great spot for families, especially kids, to have fun and learn a little about nature. The short walk to get there is easy and pleasant. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Fraser’s Hill!
Apr 19, 2025 · Ashraf HalibAllan's Water is a serene and picturesque spot, perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The scenic views, cool climate, and refreshing atmosphere make it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway.
Apr 30, 2025 · Rohit RajeCool place for kids. So much fishes in the pond, somehow feeling a bit disgusted. But in a good way, not in a bad way.Surprisingly, Fraser Hill place of attraction will put a signboard of price at the entrance. It is cheap as well, not like Genting Highlands. So you know how much you will spend in this spot.Rm2 for fish's pallet or food. There is a duck boat for rental that you can paddle at this small pond. No wait.

May 12, 2025 · Yusoff ShaharuddinFree entrance on the 1st floor by stairs. A good place for anyone who wants to know a little more on the history of Fraser's hill and topics on birds. The waterfall was truly breathtaking, with multiple levels offering different vantage points to experience its beauty. Each level revealed a new, stunning perspective, making the journey to the top feel magical. However, while the road started off smooth and easy, it quickly became rough and challenging to navigate as we progressed, which made the hike a bit strenuous. One thing that stood out was the large population of monkeys in the area. They were everywhere, rummaging through trash in search of food. Unfortunately, much of the trash was scattered around the area, with plastic and paper waste littering the ground. It really detracted from the natural beauty of the place. What made it even worse was seeing some visitors carelessly throwing their trash on the ground, showing little respect for the environment. It was disappointing to witness such disregard for nature in such a stunning location.
Sep 29, 2024 · Baron foodiesRawang Falls is one of the most beautiful natural places in Malaysia. If you want to go, I advise you to plan in advance and take food with you because there are no service facilities available near the waterfalls. Also, you should be careful of the monkeys because they take things and run away. There is an entrance fee per person of 8 Malaysian ringgit
Sep 19, 2024 · RAMZI ALHAWSHIOne of the most amazing place with waterfall and wonderful forest you can find near KL, it's not too far , entrance for 1 person 8 RM and parking 5 RM, it's worth to spend your time there 👍🤗
Sep 27, 2024 · Hassan Shams AlDeenNice place for some fun and exercise. You can hike, dip in the water and camp there. RM3 per person and RM5 for car parking. There is an alternate parking down the road at the same price. 3 waterfalls, water is clear and cool. Shady with thick foliage. It's quite a hike, the trail is slippery, do exercise caution. Maintenance should be done for the missing steps, rusty and broken railings. There are many monkeys there and visitors strewn rubbish all over. The bottom of some of the animal proof trash bins are also broken, which meant the monkeys could pull trash out from the bottom. Sadly, this is quite a common state of many parks in Malaysia. There are many shops at the entrance selling cooked food, swim wear, beverages. Unless you are having a picnic at the open area, you shouldn't need to bring food up to the waterfall area. But if you do, please bring your trash along with you!
Nov 19, 2023 · Mischa Arielle CharVery beautiful waterfall, cool place, people very welcoming and helpful. Just need to avoid monkeys taking your back. Wish that they keep the place clean.
Dec 07, 2023 · Ashwin GooljarThe hike at Kanching starts off easy, but right after the first waterfall, the steps get really steep — enough to strain your knees if you’re not careful. But don’t worry, once you get past that section, the trail becomes much more gentle and easier to walk. The effort is totally worth it though — the higher you go, the more peaceful and beautiful it gets. One important tip: please don’t feed the monkeys. Once they know they can get food from humans, they’ll start approaching people and that can lead to aggressive behavior.Pack light, wear proper shoes, and enjoy the nature — Kanching is a gem close to the city!
May 24, 2025 · Dwi Hantyanta DewantaraKanching Falls offers a serene natural escape just 35–45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur’s city center, making it the closest accessible waterfall to the urban heart of Malaysia. The hike to the falls is **moderate to challenging** but well-suited for adventurers of most fitness levels, with a **well-marked trail** winding through lush rainforest. At the top, you’ll find **two striking natural pools**—spacious enough for groups to swim and unwind, framed by smooth rocks and vibrant greenery. The waterfall’s cascading flow varies with the seasons, from a gentle trickle after dry spells to a roaring rush following heavy rains. Its *crystal-clear waters are invigoratingly cool, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. Don’t be surprised if the initial chill takes your breath away—it’s part of the adventure!Ample parking is available at the trailhead, and the site remains safe and family-friendly for those prepared for the short but steep climb. Whether you’re seeking a quick nature retreat or a lively swim spot, Kanching Falls delivers a memorable oasis just beyond the city’s hustle.
Apr 23, 2025 · Ah Kin ChoongNice waterfall to visit. Climb up time ranging 10 minutes to 60 minutes. Depends on which level your like to reach. There are 7 level of different water fall spot. However each spot is quite small to gather big group of people. And avoid weekend if possible due to too crowded. For kid, can reach waterfall at level 1-3, level 4 and above is very steep and difficult for kids. Many monkeys there to steal our foood. Be cautious if you plan to picnic there.

One child was rushed to the emergency room on 3/2/2025 in the morning and diagnosed rotavirus infection caused by contaminated water. Meanwhile, the other 2 children are still in the same condition of vomiting and diarrhea until the day I drop this review. Please AMIR RIMBA and the resort across the river, which is GIBS RESORT, take this case seriously.. Make sure the surrounding area of the resort and the water of the river, gentlemen, are in a clean condition.. Take every complaint seriously before the situation becomes more serious and causes death. The river is beautiful but it's a pity if the water is polluted. We got back a few days ago from Penang where we were able to view lots of street art. So we were expecting some good artwork here. While it’s very colourful and has some really nice touches like the 5 cats in the windows, it lacks individuality. Some of the paintings are on the back of shop doors that are constantly open, Sotheby’s can’t be seen.Never saw an area in Penang as filthy as this either. It also has vagrants who appear to be living here. I would not allow my wife to come here on her own in the evening. Even with her curlers in when she is a frightening sight.

River of Life South Mid Valley. The start of the bike and walking path goes along the klang river. This stretch follows the Klang river from Mid Valley to Brickfields. The path winds through Brickfields, past an Indian temple and high-rise apartments. Overhead, the KL Monorail track ends at the depot. After Brickfields , one will reach KL Railway Station before Central Market / Pasar Seni and Independent /Medeka Square KL.

Weekend well spent at Skyline Luge! Super fun for all ages—great for families. If you love adventure, this is definitely worth it. You can buy tickets in advance from their official website. It would recommend not bringing large bags—it’ll be a hassle while playing. One unique part is the helmet scanning system—you can view photos they took of you during the ride. I hesitated for a while but ended up buying the digital pictures because they turned out really nice and full of vibe!🅿️ is RM5 per entry, and it’s quite easy to find a spot. There’s a night market and live band in the evening, so you can shop and grab some food. The night view from the ferris wheel 🎡 is beautiful—RM12 per ride.Just a small tip: if you’re sensitive to the smell of sweat from shared helmets🪖 consider bringing your own disposable head cover and some sanitizer, because all helmets do have a bit of a sweaty smell. 🙃😵
May 05, 2025 · Susan ChaiSuper fun experience! My kids were 7 and 9 and they could go down alone. Came on a weekday at 11am and there was 0 wait. There were 4 runs for us to choose from to keep things exciting. Recommend first timers to buy at least 4 rides. First run is basically for learning. And second ride onwards is when the fun begins!
Apr 10, 2025 · GlosAn absolute must VISIT!!! possibly my favourite activity in KL. An excellent day out with friends. You can reach top speeds on the luge and there are 4 individual tracks to choose from. Some of which have tunnels. Definitely recommend if you are going with a group of friends.
May 30, 2025 · Shams RahmanWe went on a weekday in a long holiday season. The crowd wasn’t that bad and there’s no waitat all except that we came early before the park/ticket entrance even open. Booked tickets via klook and also offical website skyline luge. Official website offers 5% discount while klook offers shopback and other promocodes. You can choosewhichever best suits and benefits you.Once you redeem the ticket if buy via 3rd party agent, you can go straight to the skylift. Mind you that each that you want to take the luge ride, you have to ride the skylift. So for us with a combo ticket of 4rides+skylift, 4 times of riding skylift before you can ride down the track. Oh yes, take a helmet before you queue for the skylift and it’s not which colour you want but each colour represents different head size.We just ride down with our bags/handbags on our lap. Not sure if there’s locker to store stuff. At the end of your ride, you can take your helmet and scan it to see your captured videos andphotos and buy them if you want.Overall all good and it was fun and exciting. Although wetook 4rides but it was quick.Need to finish all rides in between 2hours to enter the park.
Apr 08, 2025 · MazGreat family experience! Pro tips from our December visit:TRANSPORT: Grab from KL costs RM75-96 one way. Most convenient option.TIMING: Went on a weekday - surprisingly NO queues! If you're a tourist, weekdays are perfect. But check weather first - rides get cancelled if it rains.PHOTOS: Cool feature - helmets have sensors for automatic photo/video capture! Important tip: Digital package takes 24-72 hours to receive (had to follow up via Facebook/email). Consider getting physical copies instead (around RM200 for few videos + 3 photos) if you want them immediately.PREPARATION:- Very hot & sunny with limited shade- Bring water and snacks for kids- Wear comfortable clothes & closed shoes- Hat & sunscreen essentialOur toddler absolutely loved the tandem rides! Staff were helpful, facilities clean, and multiple tracks keep it interesting. Perfect family activity - worth getting multiple rides as kids (and adults!) will want to go again!Definitely recommend, just plan ahead for weather and photos!

Oct 27, 2017 · flyMy story maybe a little bit long, so i suggest u guys take a seat and relax.. lol.First, i and 3 of my buddies planning to camping here about 1 month ago. We just got all the detailed of this waterfall from google. We drove from kl straight to bentong pahang using old road, which is crossed the Bukit Tinggi and Janda Baik. We reached there at 3.30 a.m and continue driving at off road until reached Kebun Ayah Parking. We parked our car there and continue walking to Latar Hammer, it taked about 45 minutes to reach the river that we hve to crossed. We have to wait until sunrise because too dark for us to see the deep of river. Finally we manage to get the waterfall at 7.30 a.m which is the first one there. We decided to camping at the sand which is 3/4 meter from waterfall. Breathtaking view, i love the smell of jungle. I love the wind from waterfall. We were having fun camping there.Im honestly recomended this place for you guys. Trek is quite easy for beginner. Remember to bring back your rubbish and do not left there. You will see the sign of Malay Pantun ' kedatangan anda diundang, sampah sila bawa pulang ' .

Nov 04, 2019 · Muhammad MuzaimLata Hammer Waterfall -Situated at Lembah Perting in the District of Bentong, Pahang Darul Makmur, Malaysia. It's also known as 'Perting Falls' @ 'Perting Pandak Waterfall'. A waterfall with a white sandy beach, good sightseeing, peaceful place, serene and quite crowded. Nice place to chill and take a dip in a large pool with crystal clear and clean water. Worth it, cool and refreshing surrounded by the greeneries forest. You can reach there by 4wd, bike, cycle or hike/walk. The distance is about 2km with the duration around 1.5hours ++ (two-way/ascent and descent). There's a few challenges, walk on dirt road/track, crossing the small river and hike up to the waterfall/camping site.Be careful during the raining season and avoid swim near to the waterfall due to safety factor. The dark area is deep which're considered quite dangerous to bathe in and have a reputation for strong currents stream and whirlpools, it may sudden drown you.The toilet and changing room available at the camp site. Some people testing their luck to catch live fishing bait like kelah and tengas fish. Keep the area clean, what you bring in you should bring out! Don't do the don't and don't mess with the nature... 🚯Noted: 'Nowadays it's close temporarily for recreational and outdoor activities until the further notice'🏞️🏖️🏕️🏊♂️👣🎣🤳🤔🤗

Jul 03, 2024 · Doaa SkaikGreat service. RM60 for a boat of 4(mykad). Everyone was very polite and courteous and could explain a lot about the fireflies and in English as well for tourists. Ok for young children. Life jackets provided . We went around 830pm and were able to see the fireflies. Best at high tide as the guide advised us.
Dec 28, 2024 · Mohan MahadevaThe place offers surreal experience in wild mangroves which border the river. It appears as if the trees are laden with series bulb wires until a firefly flies into your jetty boat and sits on your hand and crawls on it with a small bulb lit butt which makes it both cute and curious. Its a must visit site that would put you in awe of nature and its genius creator.

There's a side space where you can park after 7pm. No need to drive in the basement car park. The Coway counter was quite a maze. Had to inquire from the "I" counter where was the location. Oct 31, 2024 · Ernesto MezaThe Pavilion Crystal Fountain, also known as the Grand Bloom of Fulfillment, is a captivating public art installation situated at the entrance of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang. Unveiled on July 4, 2009, by Malaysia’s Tourism Minister YB Dato’ Sri Dr. Ng Yen Yen, this fountain is the world’s first lighted Liuli public art installation, designed by renowned Liuli artist Loretta Hui-shan Yang. The fountain features a stunning representation of the Hibiscus flower, Malaysia’s national flower, symbolizing opulence, passion, and progression. It comprises three bowls representing Malaysia’s multiracial culture living harmoniously in unity, reflecting the ‘1 Malaysia’ vision. Crafted from Liuli crystal, epoxy, silicon carbide, and fiberglass, the fountain stands 3.6 meters tall and 6 meters wide, making it the tallest Liuli crystal fountain in Malaysia. Visitors can enjoy the fountain’s choreographed shows throughout the day, with the evening performances being particularly enchanting as colorful lights illuminate the water, creating a magical atmosphere. The Pavilion Crystal Fountain is not only an artistic marvel but also a symbol of Malaysia’s cultural diversity and unity, making it a must-visit landmark in Kuala Lumpur.

One of these streets I enjoyed every minute I walked here. Here begins an authentic street that invites you to a pure experience of Malaysia and the Malaysian cuisine is spread out on both sides of the street. What an atmosphere, what an event, what a place! Recommend visiting late after dinner.
Feb 03, 2025 · I am QOne of our favourite places to hang out and as I said respectfully, one lifetime will not be enough to try out all the amazing food they have here.Pricing is a lot more reasonable than let's say Jalan Alor. And it's close to the train lines. Can combine with a visit to Saloma Link bridge perhaps. They work hard to keep the cleanliness levels good. Just need to watch for bikes tailing very close when walking on the roads (wherever the footpaths have been taken over by tables and chairs)

Nice place, used to be very isolated but now it's a bit busy on the weekend. Help to preserve the hiking trails by keeping a single lane. The last push of the trail is really "pacak", so take your time there and just enjoy the scenery. Rewards is just a few steps ahead. Please keep the place clean...🙂🙂

Apr 06, 2024 · Samira HusseiniIt needs permit from pejabat hutan, 5rm/person and get it in advance. They ask another 1rm from local guard before you go to hike in entrance. There are lots of stray dogs. Totally worth the time since the waterfall is beautiful. Don't come with grab car, better rent a car cause once you arrived in here, no driver will pick you up to the main road you need to walk down there. There is a bus RapidKL until MRT Sri Raya for 2rm/person.

Quite crowded, maybe due to the weekend. Nice place to visit to have the nature vibe. Many families and groups of friends came. However there are not many stalls to buy food from inside. You have a choice to buy before crossing the bridge (and pass by the ATV area), since there are some stalls at the junction which is quite far from our parking. There is only 1 restaurant inside, which is near to the changing room and a stall selling snacks and drinks with renting service for bike and float. Sometimes, there is ice cream sold on motorbikes. Also, visitors can rent hut to rest at RM20. It comes with a cemented resting area under the shed and bbq port. Worth to repeat but maybe need to bring home-cooked food next time. As we only eat snacks brought.

Sep 01, 2024 · karunakaran anbalaganThe Symphony Lake Water Show, situated in Kuala Lumpur’s KLCC Park, offers a captivating nightly display of water, light, and music. Positioned in front of the Petronas Twin Towers, this 10,000-square-foot man-made lake features two fountains performing over 150 programmed animations. The Light and Sound Water Fountain shows occur daily at 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 10:00 PM, while Light-only shows are at 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:30 PM. Visitors often gather early to secure prime viewing spots, with many recommending the central seating area for the best photo opportunities. This free attraction provides a serene ambiance amidst the city’s hustle, making it a must-visit for both tourists and locals seeking a memorable evening experience.
Apr 22, 2025 · HANS XIAWas in KL for a business trip and didn't really have this in the itinerary (free time). Was recommended by an online friend though I wasn't sure how to go and if I would find the 'light and water' show.It was cool how the show started at around 7:30pm, and people started gathering when the water fountains got taller by the minute. Very artistic show!Recommend to go by the lake 15-20 mins prior start and find a good spot to take photos and videos.
Feb 08, 2025 · Greyseatots Dar SantosThe Symphony Water Fountain Show at KLCC is a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur, especially at night. The dancing fountains, synchronized with colorful lights and music, create a mesmerizing experience. Watching the water move gracefully to the rhythm of the music, with the Petronas Towers as a backdrop, makes for a truly picturesque scene. However, the area tends to get very crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, making it a bit challenging to find a good viewing spot. Some people push to get closer, which can be annoying.Despite the crowd, it’s a beautiful and free experience, perfect for a relaxing evening in the city. Definitely worth visiting at least once!
Mar 20, 2025 · Adv Surabhi SawantPerhaps a bit less of a display than in Dubai, but overall a nice chill way to spend some of the evening. May 03, 2025 · Grant DanielsPlease note the show currently runs from 7.30 pm to 10 pm. Couldn’t help but be impressed by the water fountains here. There are displays to music around every 15 minutes. Many good locations around the lake to sit and watch. Lots of lovely colours and a great ending with water choreographed to Michael Jackson’s Feed The World.
Jan 21, 2025 · Greg TThe Petronas Twin Towers are a breathtaking sight, especially at night when they are beautifully illuminated. Even if you don’t go inside, the view from the outside is amazing and perfect for photography. There are professional photographers offering their services, or you can take your own pictures with the iconic towers as a backdrop. The surrounding KLCC Park adds to the experience, making it a great place to relax. However, visiting during the daytime can be very hot, so it’s best to go in the morning or evening for a more comfortable experience.A must-visit spot in Kuala Lumpur for anyone who loves stunning architecture and city views!

The ticketing and security process is efficient, and visitors are directed through a series of exhibits that provide fascinating insights into the history and construction of the towers. The highlight of the visit is undoubtedly the ascent to the observation deck on the 86th floor. The views from this height are simply breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of the city that stretch as far as the eye can see. The sky bridge connecting the two towers also offers stunning views, and visitors have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the bridge and learn more about its construction. The facilities at the towers are top-notch, with well-maintained restrooms, shops, and cafes available for visitors.
