Helipad Kuala Lumpur Introduce
Perched atop Menara KH in the vibrant district of Bukit Bintang, Helipad Kuala Lumpur offers an unparalleled and truly unique nightlife experience for locals in Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. This isn't just another bar; it's an active helipad by day that transforms into one of the city's most iconic and "always an interesting experience" rooftop bars by night. Imagine sipping your favorite drink with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of the KL skyline, including the majestic Petronas Twin Towers and the towering KL Tower, all from an open-air platform.
Helipad Kuala Lumpur provides more than just a place to enjoy a drink; it's a destination for an unforgettable visual spectacle. As the sun dips below the horizon, painting the sky with fiery hues, the city lights begin to twinkle, creating a mesmerising backdrop for your evening. Whether you're a seasoned local looking for a new perspective on your beloved city, or simply seeking a cool spot to unwind with friends, Helipad offers a dynamic atmosphere. It's a place where "good music (very rooftop bar house beats/music) with live DJ" sets the vibe, and the "friendly staff" are even "surprisingly skilled at taking photos!" For anyone in Kuala Lumpur wanting to elevate their night out, both literally and figuratively, Helipad promises an experience that truly stands out.
Helipad Kuala Lumpur is strategically located at 34 Menara KH, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Bukit Bintang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This puts it squarely in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle, a bustling commercial, retail, and entertainment hub. Its address within Menara KH, a prominent tower ("Menara" means "Tower" in Malay, which can sometimes cause confusion when giving directions to Grab or taxi drivers), makes it a well-known landmark.
Accessibility to Helipad is generally excellent for locals. For those utilizing public transportation, the Raja Chulan Monorail station is conveniently located within a very short walking distance, offering direct access from various parts of Kuala Lumpur. The Bukit Bintang MRT/Monorail interchange is also close by, providing seamless connectivity. Numerous bus routes also ply Jalan Sultan Ismail, further enhancing public transport options. If driving, visitors can find parking within Menara KH or in surrounding commercial buildings, though city parking rates apply. Upon arrival at Menara KH, patrons will need to take a lift to Level 34. To reach the actual rooftop helipad bar, there are "additional stairs" to climb. A customer review specifically mentions, "I’m not sure if they have lift access for individuals with mobility needs, so it may be worth checking in advance." This is an important consideration for accessibility. The vibrant surrounding area of Bukit Bintang means that Helipad Kuala Lumpur is easily integrated into a wider evening plan in the city center.

Helipad Kuala Lumpur Reviews
I have been to Helipad a few times, and it’s always an interesting experience. Previously, there was a dress code after 9 PM, but the staff said there isn’t one anymore regardless of the time. If there are any enquiries, we can contact the bar; they are active on picking up calls. Helipad is located on Level 34 of Menara KH (for those unfamiliar, “Menara” means “Tower” in Malay, which can sometimes cause confusion when giving directions to Grab or taxi drivers). You can choose to sit at the bar or on the rooftop. To get to the rooftop, you’ll need to climb additional stairs, which may not be convenient for everyone. I’m not sure if they have lift access for individuals with mobility needs, so it may be worth checking in advance. The staff are all friendly, and some are surprisingly skilled at taking photos! If you want good pictures of yourself in front of the beautiful background, I’d recommend asking them, as they seem to know the best angles and how to get clear, well-framed shots. There is an entrance charge of RM100 per person, which includes two drinks (a selection of wine, mojito, beer, martini, soft drinks and other options). As for food, they mainly serve bar snacks, burger, pasta and pizza, so it’s worth checking their menu if you’re looking for something specific. One important thing to note is the weather. Since it’s open-air, rain can affect your experience. If it starts to pour, you’ll have to move to the bar downstairs, and the stairs can get quite slippery, especially when there’s a crowd rushing down. I’ve been caught in that situation before, and despite the thunder and lightning, many people were still sitting there, trying to capture the perfect shot of the thunder! (Not advisable as it can be extremely dangerous). All in all, I enjoyed my visits at Helipad.
Mar 01, 2025 · Tasha KrishAmazing panoramic views of the KL skyline. We went at sunset and it was definitely worth it — make sure to make a reservation. Drinks were decent. Friendly staff and good music (very rooftop bar house beats/music) with live DJ. Only complaint is some of the lights on the side seemed to be attracting small clouds of gnats. The employees were super accommodating and tried to zap them but more kept on coming lol
Jan 28, 2025 · ShanruA truly lovely experience. There’s a 100 MYR per person cover charge, which can be used as credit towards drinks. The panoramic 360-degree view is unmatched—you can see every major skyscraper in the city. The service is warm and welcoming. I tried a few dishes, which were average, but the overall vibe makes up for it. The entrance is a bit underwhelming and doesn’t quite reflect the experience upstairs, but this is easily one of the best rooftop spots in KL.
Apr 15, 2025 · F XMost of the staff is from bangladesh, not all of them can communicate in Malay, but they can speak english. They food, not many choices, n the pasta is not too good in taste. But i like the pizza, 3 out 5. If u love the scenery, i recommend to come at sunset time, but it can be quite hot up here. But for night view, the view is great, but they dont provide u table lighting, so u must eat in dark, (atleast, they can provide table lamp something) u can listen to music, cuz they got a DJ, so its not to quite up here..good place to have a drink, losten to music and watch the view of famous Kuala Lumpur Tower (KLCC, MERDEKA 118, KL TOWER, PAVILION). U will charge RM100/per pax for entrance fee, and u will also got 2 complimentary drink for free. For food, and extra drink, will be charge accordingly.
