Indian Muslim Mosque, Tengku Kelana Town (Town Mosque) Reviews
I come here for my Tarawih prayer along the month of Ramadan. The Imam will complete reciting more than 1 juzuk from the Holy Qur'an every night during the 20 rakaat prayer.Normally the tarawih and witir prayers will start from 9.15pm and ends at about 10.40pm. Then continued with tazkirah from the Imam or Ustaz until 11.00pm.The best part after this will be the free giveaway meals like Nasi Briyani or Nasi Minyak with lamb, meat or chicken curry etc. They also provide special and tasty Masala Tea for free. The recitation of Al Qur'an during tarawih prayer will end or Khatam at 27th Ramadan every year.

Jun 05, 2025 · Thilaga ThilaNice place to visit. Masjid India Muslim Tengku Kelana Klang was built in 1910 for religious and community activities by the Indian-Muslim community living in Klang and the surrounding area. The mosque is located on Jalan Tengku Kelana, Klang which is a popular Indian shopping area. The original building of the mosque has been demolished and replaced with a new mosque building in 1973. However, this building has also been demolished to replace the large and modern new 2-storey mosque to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims. The mosque is now one of the landmarks for Klang.
