Kapas Turtle Valley Introduce
For locals in Terengganu seeking a truly serene escape, away from the bustling crowds, the pristine beaches of Pulau Kapas offer an ideal retreat. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft white sands, Pulau Kapas lives up to its Malay name, "Cotton Island." It's a gem on Malaysia's East Coast, a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to reconnect with nature and unwind. Among the various accommodations on this idyllic island, Kapas Turtle Valley stands out as a unique destination, offering a more private and intimate experience for those looking for peace and natural beauty.
Pulau Kapas is not a party island; instead, it’s a haven for relaxation, water activities, and appreciating marine life. The island's charm lies in its untouched beauty, vibrant coral reefs, and the opportunity to witness sea turtles in their natural habitat. Kapas Turtle Valley taps into this essence, providing a tranquil base from which to explore the island's wonders. It’s designed for those who appreciate quiet solitude, stunning views, and a warm, personal touch in their island getaway.

Kapas Turtle Valley is nestled on its own private stretch of beach on Pulau Kapas, Terengganu, Malaysia. The official address is simply "South China Sea, Pulau Kapas, Terengganu, Malaysia," highlighting its island isolation and beachfront location. To reach Pulau Kapas, visitors typically embark from Marang Jetty, which is approximately 30 minutes by taxi from Kuala Terengganu airport. The boat ride from Marang Jetty to Pulau Kapas usually takes about 15-20 minutes, offering scenic views as you approach the island's captivating shores.
Upon arrival at Pulau Kapas, access to Kapas Turtle Valley usually involves a short boat transfer arranged by the resort, especially given its "private beach" setting, which suggests it might not be directly at the main jetty areas. While some resorts on the island are within walking distance of each other via a white walkway along the beaches, Kapas Turtle Valley's emphasis on privacy suggests it might be slightly more secluded, making pre-arranged transfers vital. The resort itself typically advises guests on the most trusted boat services from Marang Jetty. This slightly secluded location contributes to its peaceful ambiance, ensuring that guests experience a true escape from the mainland's hustle and bustle.

Kapas Turtle Valley Reviews
Great private beach, fantastic view from the bungalows and super friendly & accommodating staff— especially Shah, Jai & Amar. Coral from the shore mostly dead but there were some nice sea anemone with lots of clown fish in the area. The fins, masks, kayaks included in the room rates were a nice touch. We were also lucky to catch a turtle hatchling release. Lunch and dinner foods were a mix of ok and tasty. Although the resort is not very small child friendly (the veranda especially is quite a risk), we stillenjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the main detractor from a better stay was the amount of bites we got from sleeping in the beds. Not sure if they were fleas or bedbugs, but they were very unpleasant and hopefully can be rectified as we would love to return someday.
Jun 09, 2025 · Khayriyyah Mohd HanafiahA late review but here’s one nonetheless as I’m looking through the pictures of me at Kapas Turtle Valley and reminiscing what possibly was the best trip of my life.I’ve always been big on travelling & my favourite places to explore are all the low-profile and underrated locations in the world. Following that theme, Kapas stole my heart.May 2022: My older sister, her best-friend & I planned to go on a short 4-days trip to somewhere extremely quiet and peaceful by the beach, no crowd, no noise, just us and the beach-waves. Few google searches later we found out about Kapas Island, and thus, Kapas Turtle Valley. I emailed Nicholas & Nadia regarding our booking & they were the most helpful hosts ever.**please remember to book your bungalows at least 2-3 months prior the planned trip. it is a beautiful & exclusive spot, and hence stays booked most of the times**We made the trip happen in September, and it was sooo beautiful & peaceful, that I think I left a huge chunk of my heart there. Starting from Nicholas & Nadia’s warm-welcome to the most fun-loving staff, this place will make you feel like home. Every morning, the breakfast alongside the beautiful view was just breathtaking. Not to mention, the place comes with all sorts of snorkelling and kayaking supplies so feel free to make the most out of it during your trip!I shall add that Nicholas, Nadia, and the rest are also amazing cooks, so you have got to try their dinner menu at least once! So delicious and worth-it 🤍Thinking of going back there once again this year for my birthday, this time with my family, because like I said, I quite literally can not get enough of the peaceful ambience.
Mar 09, 2023 · Kaniz Fahima MiliBy far, the best place in Kapas for location (private beach), food and staff (bosses included) ;) Thank you very much for everything and I hope we can see you soon.ADVICE FOR TRAVELERS: book as much in advance as possible, you won't regret, and it gets full.
May 27, 2025 · Nestor SanchezI was lucky to run into the owners on the mainland. They invited me to come check out their resort for a day trip (as I already had hotel booked).Glad I did; not only was it a stunning location but the food, service and company will be a memory cherished for a lifetime. After lunch and a few beverages; the offer to stay the night was available.. so I took it.Now I can’t say you can turn up and be accommodated all the time (limited rooms) It is much advised to pre book your stay. Stay comes with meals & transfers to and from the island. What a paradise to relax in. You will never understand the beauty of this island until you go visit! It is a must A++ service.
Aug 14, 2022 · NettyIts the only resort with a private beach on the island, surrounded by nature. The owners Nadia and Nicholas are very welcoming and friendly. The foods here are prepared by Nadia herself, and it is HEAVENLY DELICIOUS, fresh ingredients used and unique menu prepared by her. From the drinks to desserts everything is made by her. We had an enjoyable holiday here.
