Royal Bali Restaurant Introduce
Selangor, a culinary melting pot, offers a diverse range of international cuisines alongside its beloved local delights. Among these, Indonesian cuisine holds a special place in the hearts of many Malaysians, thanks to shared cultural roots and a love for bold, aromatic flavours. For those in Selangor seeking an authentic taste of Indonesia, particularly the distinct and vibrant flavours of Bali, Royal Bali Restaurant emerges as an intriguing destination. Located amidst the scenic tranquility of Sg Long Hill in Cheras, this restaurant aims to transport diners straight to the "Island of the Gods" through its traditional dishes and unique ambiance.
Royal Bali Restaurant is more than just an eatery; it's an immersive experience designed to introduce or reacquaint patrons with the rich culinary heritage of Indonesia, with a notable focus on Balinese specialties. While some establishments might offer a broad strokes approach to Indonesian food, Royal Bali strives for authenticity, bringing genuine recipes and preparations to the forefront. Their commitment to traditional flavours is evident in dishes such as the acclaimed Nasi Campur, a quintessential Balinese dish that offers a harmonious medley of various components, each bursting with distinct spices and textures. This focus on specific regional cuisine helps the restaurant carve out a unique identity in Selangor's competitive food scene.
The restaurant positions itself not just on the quality of its food, but also on the overall dining experience. Nestled away from the urban hustle, it offers a serene environment that complements the exotic nature of its cuisine. While one review mentions a longer waiting time and a perception of being overpriced with "so-so" food, another strongly praises the authenticity, highlighting the "Best Nasi Campur" and a desire to recommend it to friends. These contrasting views suggest that the experience can vary, but the potential for a truly authentic and enjoyable Balinese culinary journey is definitely present. The goal of Royal Bali Restaurant is to provide a slice of Indonesian culinary tradition, allowing locals to explore and savour the rich tastes of the archipelago without leaving Selangor.
Royal Bali Restaurant is situated at Lot 683, Jalan Persiaran Bukit Enggang, Sg Long Hill, 43200 Sungai Long, Selangor, Malaysia. This address places it uniquely within the Monkeys Canopy Resort. The location on Sg Long Hill means it is set in a more natural and serene environment, away from the typical urban congestion, offering a peaceful dining atmosphere.
For residents of Selangor, particularly those in Cheras, Sungai Long, and nearby areas like Kajang, the restaurant is primarily accessible by private vehicle. Being part of the Monkeys Canopy Resort, there is generally ample parking available on-site, which is a significant convenience for diners. While public transportation options like MRT might get you to a nearby station, a subsequent e-hailing service (like Grab) would be necessary to cover the final distance to Sg Long Hill and the resort. The journey to the restaurant might involve navigating some winding roads leading up the hill, but this contributes to the sense of a hidden gem and a brief escape from city life. For first-time visitors, using GPS navigation is highly recommended to ensure a smooth and direct route to the restaurant. The slightly secluded setting lends itself to a more exclusive dining experience, making the trip worthwhile for those seeking a unique ambiance along with their meal.

Royal Bali Restaurant Reviews
There were not many peoples at the restaurant but we waited very long for the food to be served. The food is just so so and it’s overpriced.
Jun 08, 2025 · Mun Yik ChinThe food is really authentic from Indonesia Bali! I tried the Best Nasi Campur.I will intro to my friends!
Apr 18, 2025 · choco yapWater starts from Rm5 (tea). But only the tea is worth it because he gave me a teapot and refillable hot water. Other water, the cup is narrow and tall, so the quantity of water is not much, but the price is from Rm13 😂The fish coconut tomyam tastes like fish soup, the pad thai has an elastic toing texture. Seafood freshness is indeed A++. It tastes good to me but doesn't have the kick/wow factor.Top notch service. The waiter refills the teapot 4-5 times and pours water when he has finished drinking. When the table gets watery because of ice water condensate, he wipes it too.Overall 2 people eat 2 dishes, 2 tea and 1 Thai tea Rm122.Worth it because of the service, beautiful venue and fresh ingredients. Come at night again beautiful!
