Coconut Tree Corner | 好好味山顶糖水 Reviews
Well managed and organised dessert shop.Beside many choices of desserts, they are serving economic fried mee and bihun, best served with their vege / chicken curry.Their yam cake is YUMMY! 😋
Sep 08, 2024 · MJ LiewIf you're craving for some good economic-style fried noodles and chinese dessert soups, this place is it.Nothing extraordinary but just some no-frills comfort food. It hits all the right notes from the fried bihun to the curry vege and even the sambal. Best part is you won't find them too MSG-laden! Taste wise is just right.Dessert soups are nice too and I especially love their sweet potatoes in ginger soup. I find that their dessert soups are at least on par or even better than KTZ 🤣 Especially the sweet potatoes! KTZ sometimes serve some terrible looking potatoes and don't cook them thoroughly enough (soup taste and the potato feels like they haven't thoroughly infused together yet and the potato can also be quite hard at times). But this place does it well. The only thing that isn't too great are the fried fritters 🤣 They're not freshly fried so you know what you're expecting lah. But it's just a convenient place to get your cravings fixed. They have fried nian gao also, but don't have too high expectations on that specific dish. Just nowadays quite rare can find fried nian gao so good enough lah 🤣Place is very clean, organised and well managed. Just don't attempt to go to the toilet. It's clean but technically, there is no toilet 🤣 It's a drain? Inside a room? But yeah this place is actually a makeshift stall attached to the cornermost shop of the row. So obviously, I shouldn't be expecting a toilet so that's my bad 😂 But they're nice enough to let me use it, so thank you.Bring your aunties and uncles here. I am sure they will appreciate it. Nothing special but at the same time, nowadays it's so hard to get a decent plate of economic style bihun and dessert soup 😭😭😭 This place at least upholds a standard for these simple dishes!!!
Jul 03, 2024 · Sue TThe place is very crowded, but the service is quick and efficient. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience better. However, the food is just okay—not bad, but nothing special. If you’re looking for a fast meal with good service, it’s worth a visit, but don’t expect anything amazing.
Mar 01, 2025 · パイパイGreat place for a simple and economy desert and noodles. The vendor is attentive and friendly. The place is simple yet pleasant, tidy and clean. Food and tong sui are all above average and quality well maintained for many years.
Jun 12, 2023 · David ChanLiked the traditional snacks here. Definitely worth a try. Tend you sell out by 4 pm. Business is brisk.
